Just started watching "Arrow" the Green Arrow TV series and noticed that the guy who played Kano in MK:L is in it.

I'm enjoying the show so far, is anyone else watching it?

I am enjoying the show, but I think calling it another cross over is a bit of a stretch.

I liked the way the latest episode ended.

I'm sure it was clearly a joke, it's not a crossover.

I'm loving the Arrow tv show, and I really don't like the comic book character.

umm, it was just kinda the title of the thread lol, I'l change it if its misleading,

Smallville had an actual mention of Mortal Kombat in the tenth season.
I've got to give this Arrow series a shot (an arrow shot) later on.

What do we think of the costume?

I think its an improvement over Smallvilles Leather fetish thing but Its crying out for a mask!

Also, what do you think the series has in Store for Dinah "Laurel" Lance?

I don't know as of now... however, I do hope that she eventually becomes Black Canary. Otherwise her name would just be a tease and that would piss me off lol.

yea, same thing goes for Merlyn. Only problem is I literally CANNOT see Laurel donning fishnets, a blonde wig and her Sonic Scream, I also cannot see "Tommy Merlyn" wielding a bow and Arrow.

Laurel mentioned wearing fishnets at a halloween party years ago, and how much she disliked them, it was probably meant as a jab toward Black Canary, like Oliver's facepaint domino mask when he wears the hood.

Yea I picked up on that, I've noticed a few little allusions towards DC things.

When Oliver has the guy tied to the Traintracks he says something about the Train to Bludhaven, which is the City that Nightwing operates in Neighbouring Gotham.

Tommy Meryln also wants to take Laurel to "Coast City" which is Green Lanterns City.

These things make me smirk however juvenile the pleasure is.

I wouldn't count Canary out just because the onic power might not make an appearance. She's plenty tough (and impressive) without it. One of the top martial artists in the DC world. They could definitely make Black Canary work without super powers.

I'm currently (and illegally) watching The Arrow on CW, and I must admit the show is not bad.
I got a mixed reaction after watching it: the recitation is good, the Green Arrow in the series is even better than the one in the comic book, Deathstroke is great as usual, but...
the fight scenes are terrible, it is clearly a low-budget flick.
It reminds of MK: Conquest, with better costumes (?) and worse fighting choreography.

Oh yeah I love this show. Gives me something new to watch before Supernatural hahaha!

To me, Arrow, some parts felt like Assassin's Creed (2) even to my friends hahaha.

Although I missed last weeks episode but so far I've seen just about all the episodes!


I'd like to see a live action Batman or the supposed Wonder Woman show.
(cough Nightwing...but im sure he's less likely to get a show then the above)
