If your complicated life up to this point so happened to become a full-length feature film, what songs or music would fit perfectly as that film's soundtrack?

If you wish, post the soundtrack listing, and you can even give details as to why those songs suit the story of your life. Theme songs can be put in bold.

As for me:

1. Björk - Bachelorette
2. Mariah Carey - Can't Let Go
3. Led Zeppelin - Kashmir
4. Lady Gaga - Born This Way
5. Nina Hagen - Antiworld
6. Michael Jackson - Stranger in Moscow
7. Eminem - When I'm Gone
8. Dan Forden - The Bank
9. Björk - Mouth's Cradle
10. Marilyn Manson - This Is The New Shit
11. Dark New Day - Brother
12. Janet Jackson - Better Days
13. Lady Gaga - You and I
14. Eric Church - Homeboy
15. Prince - I Would Die 4 U
16. Utada Hikaru - Final Distance

I'll go into more detail in the not-so-distant future.

**Memories growing up**
The soundtrack of my life is the music played all around me growing up. Memories of other people, places, and events. It's a full multi-disc soundtrack. Golden Oldies remind me of time with my dad. He has an extensive record collection. I remember the 80s, I was actually there. Personally, I hate english music, because of all the vulgar sex & heathenry. I prefer some JPop, which is Japanese music/anime themes. With possible Aspergers, I remember every damn tune/melody I've ever heard. Got a bloody jukebox in me noggin, it's annoying at times. There was always a radio on or music playin' wherever. I'm sorry for taking up so much space.

Juice Newton - Angel of Morning
* One of my earliest memories of music. Dad was a trucker when I was a baby, away all the time. They loved it till our religious relatives pointed out it was about adultery/prostitution or whatever.

Three Dog Night - Jeremiah was a Bullfrog
* I actually hate this song & people calling me Jeremiah instead of Jeremy since I was a kid. Regardless the song's true meaning, Bullfrog can mean both drunk or shit-talker. Just some shit talkin drunk, I luv u guyses...

The Hollies - He Ain`t Heavy, He`s My Brother (I remember this from a commercial, can`t remember if it was about drug, alcohol rehab or organ donors. Teen was waiting in a hospital hall, and his brother came out in a robe.)

Pearl Jam - Jeremy (There isn't enough space to get into this...)

Tchaikovsky - Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy (Waaaay too much Tetris growing up)
Korobiniki (Again, Tetris...)

Canadian Vignette - The Logdriver's Waltz The animation for this played on CBC TV all the time when I was a kid.
Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World
Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody
Four Tops - Can't Help Myself
The Supremes - Can't Hurry Love
Phil Collins - Can't Hurry Love
Mashmakhan - As Years go by (A child asks his mother, do you love me?) Many have pointed out the flaws of parts of the song, as not being TRUE LOVE...
Jimmy Ruffin - What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?
Paperlace - The Night Chicago Died

Newbeats - He Likes Bread, and Butter (My dad used to sing this randomly)
My Dad used to play/sing House Of The Rising Sun, and Streets Of Laredo on his banjo.

The Animals - House Of The Rising Sun
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bad Moon Rising - Have You Ever Seen The Rain?
Vickie Lawrence - The Night the Lights Went out in Georgia
Harry Chapin - The Cat's in the Cradle

Apparently I like Maroon 5. Alessia Cara is my fav current artist.

as well as Phil Collins/Genesis, Fleetwood Mac, C.C.R.
I also like some Tragically Hip, some Alanis Morriset, some Avril Lavigne,

I think it's for an explanation. wink

1. Björk - Bachelorette
This song represents how dramatic my life can be, even when it is due to the smallest situation. The music tied with Björk's powerful singing manifests how I feel sometimes, like screaming at the entire world.

2. Mariah Carey - Can't Let Go
This song represents the mourning I still have for my father, who died two years ago. Even though the song itself isn't about the death of a parent, lyrics still identify with how I feel. Not to mention, this is my favorite Mariah Carey song. grin

3. Led Zeppelin - Kashmir
This represents my passion for music and the journey I'm still on to become a better musician. It isn't so much the lyrics that tie in to this, rather than the music, especially the strings.

4. Lady Gaga - Born This Way
As an open bisexual, this song truly speaks to me. The first time I heard this song, I cried. I've never before heard a song that so bluntly spoke up for me and who I am. This song ultimately represents June 7, 2010, the day I came out to myself.

5. Nina Hagen - Antiworld
This song represents the ongoing schism between me and the hyperjudgmental Christians of the country I live in, the United States. To them, I am among the most sinful of people on the planet. To me, that's what they are.

6. Michael Jackson - Stranger in Moscow
This song represents every moment I wanted to just break down and cry. Michael Jackson actually wrote this song in 1993, detailing how hurt he was that people were accusing him of abusing children and how the media jumped on it so quickly. This is how I feel when people attack me simply for living my life.

7. Eminem - When I'm Gone
This song, one of my favorite Eminem songs, represents all of the mistakes I've made, and how some may haunt me forever. I probably don't feel anywhere near as badly as Eminem, but I do feel.

8. Dan Forden - The Bank
This song mostly represents how big of an impact Dan Forden has had on me musically. This track was the first of his I learned to play on the piano, second overall. The composition is so simple, yet so beautiful, that even at the young age of 5, when I first heard it, I knew how valueable this track is.

9. Björk - Mouth's Cradle
This song represents my honor and respect for womanhood. This itself was written as Björk's response to the destruction of the Twin Towers, stating via interview "There are some things far more important than violence, like a mother breastfeeding her child." Every time I listen to this song, I think of every devoted mother on the planet, and I salute her.

10. Marilyn Manson - This Is The New Shit
This song represents exactly what it is about, the reality that mainstream music has become entirely repetitive and no one cares. In recent years I've stopped listening to the radio, because the majority of what I hear all sound the same.

11. Dark New Day - Brother
This song represents my entire life, which is why I list it as my life's theme song. I often ask myself the same questions asked in the chorus of this song. This song pretty much states my life journey up to now.a

12. Janet Jackson - Better Days
This song is sort of a counter to the previous one, representing how despite the regrets I may have, I need to suck it up and move forward. One particular line in this song has stuck with me all this time, and I often look back to it as a reminder. It goes, "Well, sometimes life just isn't fair, so why complain? Nobody cares."

13. Lady Gaga - You and I
This song represents my desire to ultimately fall in love. I do want to one day get married, have kids, and start a family, but it is most certainly not easy to do. I don't believe in looking for love, as I don't believe it can simply be found.I believe in allowing love to come to me. Hopefully I won't wait too long. lol

14. Eric Church - Homeboy
This song represents how I feel about my older brother, almost exectly. Aside from the lyrics on living a rural life, this song details pretty much all of how I feel about my brother's disregard for change and self-respect. I know I can't make him change, so all I can do is show my support and hope.

15. Prince - I Would Die 4
This song represents my love for all of those I care for. I do my best to be there for the ones I love, and I always do what I can to do so.

16. Utada Hikaru - Final Distance
This song represents the time, and it always will. For me, this song is infinite, and I think everyone can relate to it. No matter the year, the decade, or the advances of life, I think this song will always be relevant to humanity.
So I've been adding songs, and going back to rearrange my lists a bit better so it's not just a jumbled mess.

I never realized how much newer music I actually like. I know I say I hate english music, but there's a bunch of it that speaks to me, about me or makes a point.

Just wondering if anybody else has any updates or changes?
