Oh I'm 100% in and will see this in the theatre with 3d IMAX, seat buzzers, and whatever other Hollywood tech it's released with.

Pacific Rim was awesome and showed how incredible "Giant Monster Kaiju" movies look with modern technology. Still, it only whet my appetite for the big grandaddy of them all.

There were a couple of obvious clips, like the dusty scuffle and some of the weird shit in oceans and clouds. Check out the following link for some primo speculation of MANY monsters!

Wasn't warm to the double-whammy of an American remake, but the trailer and its potential has me thinking enthusiastically.

As soon as I saw those jets getting tossed out of the sky I thought of Rodan and the "glowing claw" to me looks like something belonging to a winged creature.

- 'Godzilla' Finally Shows His Face at WonderCon

MTV recap of thrills n spills from Wondercon. Not quite as good as first-hand experience, but still another little morsel of promise for what is shaping up to be a surprisingly exciting outing for an American Godzilla.

"One of the most important aspects of the film is the fact that Godzilla is not just a monster, but a character with clear motivations. Part of this motivation no doubt comes from the mantis-pterodactyl hybrid seen in the exclusive footage, though Edwards hinted at another creature that has to do with the lifecycle of Godzilla."

Nice interview about the process of conceptualizing the film. However it turns out, I think you'd have to say it's a well meaning movie. Much more so than Zilla '98.
