Does Mortal Kombat Trilogy work on PS2?

I heard from some people that there are problems with Mortal Kombat Trilogy on ps2. They say it freezes up at certain parts of the game. Is this true?

Yes it does, the one I remember at the moment is when after you beat Shao Kahn the game freezes and does not let you choose a prize for winning. There may be a few others that I do not remember, but for the most part it works pretty good.

Not that well... its kinda buggy. It's really picky about the settings you choose... so dont change them lol.

For the most part, it works fine for me too. The only problem I've ever encountered is when you let the countdown hit 0 after a game over, the game freezes.

It does work for PS2, but for some reason it freezes up when you beat the last boss.

How do you morph into Chameleon if you have it on a PS2? I cain't figure it out.wow

Here you go man:

If you are first player choose any male ninja, though I would go with Human Smoke I have only gotten it to work on him, and then hold down Left+R1+L1+Square+Triangle until the match starts.

If you are second player do the same except hold Right+R1+L1+Square+Triangle until the fight starts.

That's funny, I remember Sony claiming that all PS1 games would have " Perfect " emulation on the PS2.

Well, it can't be much worse than playing it on a PSOne. Whenever I played it, the load times were horrible. It was probably better for N64, but I hate Nintendo.
