Some files have been ripped from the game, including list of intros.

Apparently, it contains intros for Tanya, Tremor, Jason and Predator. However, Tanya and Tremor intros, could be incomplete somewhat. At least some characters have only 2 dialogues with them as opposed to 3-4.

Some characters has several versions of intro dialogues, depending on skin you using: Scorpion has different intros for his Revenant skin, regular Scorpion and Hanzo skin.

Apparently Erron Black's original name was Salazar. Several characters adress him as such and nobody mentions him as "Erron Black". It seems he was renamed at some point and all instances of "Salazar" were replaced with "Erron Black" in the final game:
vo_Aztec_Nomad_i1208_a01=Salazar.
vo_Aztec_Nomad_i1208_b01=Something wrong, Emperor?
vo_Aztec_Nomad_i1208_c01=I renegotiate our agreement.

Jason and Predator do not speak during their intros. Their intros has only one-two lines addressed at them, by their opponents.

Only Shinnok knows who Jason and Predator are, as he is the only one who address them by their names in the intros.

Tanya confuses Jason with Torr:
vo_Jason_Tanya_i1443_b01=Torr. Finally kill Ferra?

Tremor mentions something called Dream Realm, claiming it has changed him and he doesn't want to be part of Black Dragon anymore:
vo_Kano_Tremor_i1561_a01=Tremor.
vo_Kano_Tremor_i1561_b01=The Dream Realm changed me, Kano.
vo_Kano_Tremor_i1561_c01=Don't care, really.

vo_Tremor_Mileena_i1570_a01=In the Dream Realm you are reborn.
vo_Tremor_Mileena_i1570_b01=You spout nonsense.
vo_Tremor_Mileena_i1570_c01=Here, you are dead.

Real name of Reptile is apparently Syzoth:
vo_Raiden_Reptile_i0804_a01=Step aside, Syzoth...
vo_Raiden_Reptile_i0804_b01=You know my true name...
vo_Raiden_Reptile_i0804_c01=And the path to your defeat.

Also, funny dialogue between Tanya and Tremor:
vo_Tanya_Tremor_i1444_a01=Kano's domestic.
vo_Tanya_Tremor_i1444_b01=Mileena's concubine.
vo_Tanya_Tremor_i1444_c01=Her deadliest ally...

Awesome info, good stuff. The "Dream realm" sounds interesting enough, and I'm SO glad they changed Erron's name from Salazar. Salazar sounds reaaalllly dumb lol.

This actually concerns me.

If they've included all the sound files for the DLC characters ON-DISC, then what does that say about future DLC characters beyond Kombat Pack 1??

If they had to include the intro exchanges on disc then either future DLC won't get intros, or there is possibly no future DLC planned at all??

The files were added to the disks through the patch.

It's just old subtitles (as indicated by Erron still being called Salazar). It doesn't mean that those voice files are in the retail game. Also, it seems that Tanya and Tremor don't have usual number of intros, so most likely all this will be changed with patches.

Ahh awesome! Jason's bio is actually in game right now (though missing that last ellipses for some reason). I'm really curious where you found all this! Is there a site that's actively posting on datamined stuff? The info on Reptile (Syzoth? Well...I always assumed Reptile was some sor'tve nickname. It'd be like if they named D'vorah "Bug Creature" or something) is particularly interesting, and so is Erron Black's original name (which we all kind of suspected at one point).

I feel like they had these DLC characters planned quite a bit ago, just so they could make accommodations for the voice acting. Getting everyone back in the booth must be a pain in the ass, especially with all the intros. I'm curious, are there any "generic" intros in there that could possibly be for future DLC past the Kombat Pack? Something that's just kind of like, "Hey, screw you.", (insert DLC character line here), "Well let's fight then!" or something similar? I hope that made sense lol.

Yeah that's possible, but I still feel like their size differences and posture would make it a little difficult to confuse the two lol

Call me nuts, but I think I prefer Salazar.

I've disliked the name Erron Black since the moment I first heard it.

Black feels entirely too on the nose for a mysterious murdering killer type to me.
