Premier Skins in MK11?

As we all know, Injustice 2 has introduced premier skins, which is basically a shortcut of sorts to include more characters within the game. Would you want this feature in the next MK game?

Personally I think it would be an awesome addition. While I'd prefer to have more characters in game, and them to be completely unique, it's an unrealistic request, and this is the next best thing. They can even update the premier skin system by giving premier skins their own arcade endings. So they'd have their own appearance, dialogue and voice, along with their own endings. Yet, just share the same combos with the original character, with perhaps slight differences in how the move may appear.

Using this shortcut characters like Frost could be a premier skin for Sub Zero, Sonya and/or Johnny could be premier skins for Cassie, Jerek could be a premier skin for Kano, or Tasia could be a premier skin for Mileena, Taven for Dragon, Fujin as a premier skin for Raiden, Kabal for Mavado, or vice versa, etc. Plus they have other examples as well that can be used.

As long as they have specific intros, endings, Fatalities and Brutalities I'm in.

This idea, however, wpuldn't work.
In Injustice 2 it worked because Antiflash is just Flash with a different color, in MK X Cassie was totally different from Johnny and Sonya.

A big oh hell no! MK doesn't have to follow suit with Injustice. Bad enough that Injustice has MK characters, incorporated combos and specials.

Bad idea.

RE: Premier Skins in MK11?

It was just an example I used because Cassie could easily be given her parents moves and combos in her move set, without it looking out of place in any given game. Something that can't be done with Kung Jin and Kung Lao for example, or Jax and his daughter.

Disliking an idea that could realistically help include more characters into future games, simply because it originated in Injustice is completely ignorant imo.

With the inclusion of guest characters, this is likely the best and most realistic way to include more faces and "fan favorites" into future games rosters. So got to agree to disagree here.

I would be more open to this idea if the original older characters were the skins while the newer generation were in the base roster.

... here's your Subzero, now plain zero.

RE: Premier Skins in MK11?

Primier skins would be great especially for characters who are essentially the same. Put Kano back in and give him Kira and Jarek Premier skins for example. Or Goro can have a Kintaro skin
