Blade-X. He's in the top ten with over 50 wins and just 3 losses. Be on the look out for him. Also played someone that if you attack him, all you lose the round. Then they say yes to a rematch. Yeah, like I'm really going to play a lame-ass cheater again.

Also be on the lookout for MKREP, he uses a regeneration code

There's a number of people using CodeBreaker V7 and above to ...

1) Make themselves invincible (can't be hit at all),

2) Make their projectiles always hit (played a guy last night that could freeze you with Subby even when you sidestepped it by a mile from a full screen away)

3) Give themselves extra long Fatality time. These people will show off by going all Eddy Gordo on you before doing a Fatality (unless you pull off a Hara-Kiri),

4) Artificially raise the damage they deal. These cheaters can be spotted immediately because they go into their weapon stance AND STAY THERE .... doing the same combo over and over (or they'll toss you like a ragdoll ad-infinitum).

Now, I myself own a CodeBreaker but I'd never use it online. I used it to help Stunna and Sinister crackdown on discovering all the Fatalities/Hara-Kiris faster since it helped me find the required distance and/or the triggering button. I also admit that I'll be using it to DESTROY KIRA IN THE NETHERREAM (Konquest) as she makes the fight with Scorpion for one of Shujinko's moves look like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Other than that, you can take my word that I don't use it for online play and never will. In fact, I hit the RESET button on my PS2 and reload the game totally whenever I get the itch to play online because sometimes I forget if I loaded my Codebreaker or not! Sure, resetting the PS2 drives me nuts because of the long ass loading times (I should look on the bright side -- it DOES gives me time to snag a beer, roll a smoke, take a shit, etc) but it protects YOU from getting ripped off ... and ME from possibly being banned!!

I don't want either so sitting thru a full game reload is a small price to pay!

I haven't meet anyone that used a health cheat yet but I have gone against people who have used Kenshi, Kobra, and Darius in the cheapest ways.

Kenshi- They use the Kitana cause it is his fastest style then just keep using his telechenitic powers before you get up.

Kobra- they get the sticks out (I never use Kobra so idk what they're called) and keep doing a juggeling combo that you can't get outta.

Darius- For Darius people keep useing that low punch he has as a special move and then use that kick he has as a special move.

Just watch out for people like this, they usually have a odd amount between their wins and losses. Mostly new people use these methods to get ahead quickly but you can fight fire with fire against these kinds of people!

GhostDragon,just wanted to say this is agreat idea to start a "cheater" thread. I'm writing down those names and being sure to avoid them. I don't THINK I've played anyone cheating yet. Although,I can hold my own pretty well and have gotten my ass waxed very,very fast by a few players possibly using cheat codes. Kinda hard to tell sometimes when you're in the heat of battle. Other than avoiding cheaters,is there anything else that can be done? I know that for certain other online games,if you get caught cheating,they boot you out of the room or offline or something like that. I think peolpe like that should somehow be banned,if possible.

Yes. These cheater list threads are a great help. Both here and at Gamefaqs.com. I write these names down and avoid them. So far I have been lucky and have not faced a cheater yet. I read that Midway or whomever looks over the Online part are now cracking down on cheaters and if found out they mess the cheaters ranking up to show 9999999 loses and disconnects or something like that. I hope this is true. Here are the names on my list of cheaters so far:

I fought someone who took out Kobra's Kali Sticks and used the same combo over, and over,.....AND OVER, It is reaaally frustrating because you can't get out of it except with combo breakers, and as soon as you stop them they start right up again. IMPOSSIBLE!! Watch out for people who play as Scorpion and Kobra. All of them are cheap.

Didn't you here what the Midway team did with the cheaters? They reset their stats:
0 Wins
1000 Losses
9,999 Disconnects

Thats not cheating. Those are called mix-ups. Dummy.

Add Deathtow to the list...he uses an instant heal cheat or something. All the combos I used on him did little damage and then he instantly healed from them. B.S.

Yeah there are plenty of cheaters playing on the servers. I have run into guys that have speed cheats or something of that nature. They play like a novice player and when they are about to die they go insane on you. I know there are great comebacks (RedSox), but I have never seen anyone move that fast before. When the animation is still going into one throw....they are starting another throw and is impossible to get out of it. I never understood the satisfaction people get from cheating.

OK, I versed someone online that used Darrius and was cheap so I hit yes to ver him again. The way I beat him is by choosing Kabal and perform his run, then the throw, his kick combo, or nomads touch. I would sugest in that order cause when you go to do it, it might not hit so just vary it like-

run(special move)+throw

6 hit kick combo+run(special move)+nomads touch

run(special move)+kick combo+throw

kick combo+ nomads touch

kick combo+run(special move)+ Hookswards combo ( Square, Square, back+Square


Keep in mind I posted this thread so you can get back at people whenever they're cheap without useing gameshark. I didn't post this so you could use it anytime you want to win against a fair player. And I have come up with a way to totally make even choosing Kabal useless against me so don't even try it on me.
