What does everyone think of Reptile, Smoke, Noob (I think it's him), and Sub-Zeros new costumes??? I like how all of them still have the classic ninja look (Black suit with colorded tunic) but now have different features to make then all unique? As u can guess i Like reptiles th best. the part im not keen on is that fact that from the few pics we have he seems to have a mask like ermacs MKD mask. all black wraps with 2 tied tassels hanging. differnt but i think it looks goood on him.i havent seen scorpion yet so does anyone have any clue what he might look like? also im hopeing ermac has a new differnt costume as well.

they all look gr8 except reptile either he looks really lame or it is a bad picture i wonder what scorpion will look like not many people noticed noob in the magazine i thought that was funny he is is that picture of lao in the dark forest giving someone an uppercut that someone is noob

I guess we don't know if it's noob or not. but chances are him being all dressed in black and haveing glowing blue eyes would make him noob i guess. And i don;t know if anyone saw the magzine in person but Reptile looks much better. i think the green looks better being lime green. and the wraps instead of the traditional mask seems more primal and mysterious. which IMO is a good thing for reptile.

I dont like to admit, but I think jade and kitana look kinda dull..with that strange hair....hmm but i'll waith patiently for better picssmile

I liked the old ninja costumes, i think they should make them all have their old pallete swap costumes with very lil difference, that new mask ermac got n deception wusn't as cool as the old one, it'd b cool if they had the old costumes plus a new distinguishable one, maybe they should do that for mk7. (that ncludes the females too)

If you take the Reptile link, notice to the right, there is a pic og Sub-Zero fighting some guy. That's neither Kung Lao nor Liu Kang. So could it be that Sub is playable? I've seen some posts on the forum about some characters who probably will be playable, but those are only rumours right?

Don't forget that the only reason they had color swaps was because they needed more characters, but didn't have the space. So, chaniging an existing sprite would give them more room to play around with then creating a brand new sprite for the systems to recognize. Now, here's something I've been wondering, with the exception of Sub-Zero and Scorpion, does anybody else hink that the current look of the ninjas was what they where origionaly intended to look like, but the limitations on then current technology prevented them from doing so?

Im glad they are making them all look different. The palette swaps were classic but I agree that they should make them all look original but still have that crazy ninja style. I especially want Smoke to have smoke pouring out of him all the time like in the normal games.

HOT DAMN!Jade,Kitana,and Mileena look really good in those pictures.They are all together ;does this mean that MK:SM is placed at the time of MK2?

Yes.....yes it does. I'm just glad to see Smoke's ethreal look is in the game. It kind of gives you an idea of what he origonaly was supposed to be.

SmokeNc-107, I think you're right on the money. Still, in alot of the comic book art, they all look the same, so I dunno....Maybe NOW they're trying to distinguish them, but before they weren't.
I'm glad they're all getting new looks to distinguish them all.

I think that the reason they were the same in the comics because they had to look like they did in the game to avoid confusion. If people saw the now ethreal Smoke back then instead of the pallet swap from the MK games they'd be like "What the hell is this? This isn't Smoke?" So, I'm going to say MK might have kept that concept to avoid confusion.

Yeah, the female ninjas look really good. Im glad its not their dull costumes from MKII. Jades costume is the best followed by Mileenas. Kitanas is good to but the other two are amazing. I also like the look of Sub-Zero. Smoke looks cool but that reptile picture is bad. I hope he doesnt end up looking like that or maybe its just a bad picture (like the other guy said)

not saying it because kitana is my favourite..but I really think that kitana's costume looks best...I cant clearly see how mileena's costume look like..I\d like to see a picture, a more close-up picture of them...And Id like to see kitana with her hair loose eehh not in a pony tail

I don't like Kitanas, jades, or Mileenas costumes, none of them to me look that great, I would much prefer to see Mortal Kombat II style costumes with leotards, long gloves, long boots and thair hair loose....

I agree, like I said before, but If I had the chose between these 3, Id pick Kitana's as the most beautiful one...Mileena looks as if she's wearing a sports outfit...

Does anyone think that Ermac will be in this game, at least as a secret? At the end of MK II, it hints at Ermac (Saying he does not exist), but it turns out he does exist. I wonder what his story is before UMK3 that he couldn't come out and fight.

I(but i do not know everything about MK)suppose it'll be possible....and considering his performance in deception and I think its righteous to call his performance a success, I hope en think midway will put him in the next MK as well....thus SM...he'd be a good hidden/secret/su character in my opinion
