Okay, this has been bugging me since I first saw this...

Is that an actual photo of Katalin Zamiar as Kitana, with a background added? Or is it a fake? I honestly cannot tell.

Forgive me if this has been discussed; I searched and couldn't find anything.

Yes, it's an actual photo of Katalin Zamiar on a badly photoshopped background.

BTW, when she played Mileena she was still wearing the Kitana's colors (just like with the male ninja guy, who was palette swapped later). Same with the hair color, of course.

I believe this was a grayscale photo colorized using a computer, and a fake bg added. I seem to recall a grayscale photo of Katalin Zamiar in exactly this pose.

This is why it looks kinda fake, even though it's so realistic looking.

Appearently, yes. Sometimes (often) I think I'm too smart for this forum. Not the Derek Smart-smart, just not a clueless teenager anymore. Guys, I'm a vet. I've been there when the MK1 was released, had the big poster and all... like a 12 years ago or so, when I was a kid.

Maybe I'm too old for this shit.
