it sounds to me that at that moment, you were just plain pissed. so walking away was a good idea, since if you had not done that, you might have said something you didn't mean or didn't mean to get out, or told the truth but it would have sounded more harsh then it should have. then your sister would say something to that effect or start crying and it would have snowballed into a fight. so you did the right thing walking away. it gave you a chance to cool down and think things through a bit more now a few questions before I continue

1. does she know you dislike rap in the first place? (i know she is your sister but sometimes siblings don't know everything about each other)
2. have you asked her in the past to turn the music down in a nice or nasty way, if so which or was it both at different times, and how did she react to it each time
3. do your parents or guardians (whom I assume you live with noting the situation) know about this and have they tried to inervine in the past, what was the reaction to the situation from them or the invervention if there was one from your sister
4. how old is your sister?
5. how long has this been going on?
6. does she understand your distain for the music, and is she willing to entertain a comprimise so she can enjoy her music without making you want to kill her

Personally, I dont think you should apologise just now because she needs to use her own head and realise what she's done wrong. She needs to see that you've made an effort to be a cool sis (by tolerating her rap music, and allowing her to share her music with you) and acknowledge that the little insensitive things shes been doing to you, even though they are LITTLE and will seem like a joke in the near future, arent very fair.
Believe me, things like this dont tend to last long if you really are close sisters at heart. And if she apologises she'll become a better kid for it, and if you accept her apology you'll become a better sister for it.
