You need to download itunes. Then put your CD in and it should appear in the itunes program. Then you simply move the songs you want from your CD into the main ipod library.

You should have got the iTunes software with your iPod, and an instruction manual, Don't know if you bought one 2nd hand or something but if you did check you have the usb lead...
