I say, and what Tonerz says you listen. Anyway, I say that since Sektor has been gone all this time, and this general storyline of MKA is a big-ass war, how about Sektor has already created the Tekunin and seeks to sack the Lin Kuei. However, Noob Saibot sees the Tekunin, and either strikes up a deal or kill Sektor and reprogram all of his tekunin bots to serve him. So far possible characters for Sektor to interact with are Noob, Sub, maybe Frost, as for Smoke I remember what others wrote, that he freed himself from Noob's comntrol. should be very interesting. So Says I!

Two questions:

1- Who is next, and when?
2- Where have the DPs gone? None of the posts on this page have been rated. I personally don't care if I get them, but I saw from very good posts in here.

Well, it’s been a few days, so now it’s time to focus on another character with even less story than Sektor, and the newest Shokan to be in the game since the series was formed, she’s the one, the only female Shokan, SHEEVA! grin
Sheeva was handpicked by Shao Kahn himself to be Sindel’s personal protector, but she became suspicious when Motaro, the Centaurian, was placed as head of the Extermination Squads. Her suspicions become confirmed when she finds out her race is being oppressed and that Shao Kahn is helping the Centaurians eliminate the Shokan. Enraged, she slays Motaro and releases Kano from his cell, believing that he’d help her out. Instead, he ratted her out to Shao Kahn, and when her back was turned, Shao Kahn stabbed and killed her... That’s her entire story.
Obviously, now she’s back, and without any real explanation, as even in Konquest mode, she was dead in the Netherealm (dying once is one thing, but twice is just a piss-off tongue).
Now, a story possibility... I have no clue. There’s so little to work with, I have no idea what could happen to her. If the Shokan gained Kahn’s favour again, she could become a replacement for Goro in the future... Or she could still be Sindel’s protector, or take pleasure in turning other Centaurians into glue... Oh hey, here’s an idea! Since she killed Motaro, now the Centaurians want her head! A fugitive escaping from horse-people! \/\/007! Amazing stuff, eh?
Hopefully you guys can come up with something better, and obviously, this discussion’s going to not last long.

Obviously if Sheeva is back, she's going to be very pissed off at Shao Kahn for impaling her. I mean, that's just plain rude. But who has recently become Kahn's bitch once again? Sheeva's prince, Goro. And with Goro much of the Shokan militia too. I seriously doubt Sheeva will be thrilled about that. Sheeva will probably be an outcast from the other Shokans and could possibly turn to her last remaining ally, Sindel. She was Sindel's personal protector when both were evil, now I see Sheeva joining the good side, not so much to be good but to get revenge on Shao Kahn and Goro. Sheeva's ending showed that she had great pride, she would never join Kahn's side now. Sheeva is my favourite of the three Shokan, unlike Kintaro she has a plot and so much potential and unlike Goro her plot hasn't been utterly screwed over. Goro must die, and I would love it if it where by her hands...all four of them.

Unfortunatley I can't see Sheeva surviving Armageddon due to her lack of popularity in MK3 but you never know, Stryker had no fans before MKA and after a few renders and videos hes gained a decent sized fan-club. I know I've always loved Sheeva, I hope MKA makes many others see the potential in her. The Shokans are obviously easily manipulated, after Shao Kahn's cruelty and enslavement of them around MK3, they are back working under his command. But Sheeva could be the one Shokan with a brain and realise that Kahn must be stopped.

Another element to Sheeva's story is her nemesis is returning from the grave after she killed him. Motaro. Whatever happens between them I havn't got a clue, perhaps they won't even interact although Motaro will probably want revenge on Sheeva and Motaro can't be happy that Shao Kahn has the Shokan under his command.

She also has Kano to confront but I don't want her to. Kano belongs to Sonya.

For Sheeva, Kahn is alive, the Shokan are kissing his feet and Motaro has been resurrected. That appalling situation must be remedied.

I <3 Sheeva.grin

Sheeva is one of the most underrated characters in MK3. Her story might not have been much, and her fan base small, but I thought she had some amazing combos. Unfortunately, that is all she had. Perhaps Boon & Co. have really revamped her and made Sheeva worthwhile in possibly her last game.

Well, last time we saw Sheeva was... a while ago. Briefly mentioned in MKDA, all we learned is that she killed Motaro and helped Kano escape before he betrayed her and left Kahn give what was due. How she is back this game I have no clue. Perhaps she didn't really die? Maybe she crawled away and hid before the DA eliminated "Kahn". Where she has been hiding all this time, I cannot say. Another option is that she was sent to the Netherrealm and ressurected by someone. The only person that could do that is Shinnok. What use he has for her, I have no idea. Either way, both these alternatives are vague.

What I'd like to see is Sheeva be a loose cannon, work for no one. Basically, she'd just be fucking everyone over in a last attempt for a point in life. First she'd start with Goro. He knows Kahn screwed over the Shokans, yet he is too pathetic to stand up to him. If she took out one of Kahn's finest generals, it be an achievement. However, let's leave Kung Lao for this. Kintaro could also be another high ranking general. Since Kintaro really has no enemies, this could actually be a kill for Sheeva before she is herself targeted. If Kintaro and Goro don't fight, this would be another spectacular battle. But, they could also join to be allies and show Kahn that the Shokans are no one to mess with. I doubt Sheeva could reach the Emperor herself, so I'm counting this option out. However, she could still feel close to Sindel and help her by getting closer to Kahn, in debt as her bodyguard or something like that. Sheeva doesn't have a point in being bad anymore, so let her do some good.

Kano also deserves some payback, as he tricked her. Again, Sonya gets first pick at him, but maybe she could help her in the fray. Maybe she could take out some underlings of the Black Dragon in her fury to kill him. Namely Kira and Kobra cause they're useless right about now. However, I think her real threat is Motaro. She killed him (supposedly, but who knows now?) and I'm sure he wants revenge. I'd actually like to see her kill Motaro, or at least make an alliance between the Shokans and the Centaurs for a better good. The latter is what I'd like to see more. Motaro could be useful in the next generation.

In the end, I think Sheeva will be killed by Goro, for her allying with the good side and helping to bring down Kahn. But afterwards, Kung Lao would cut him down, just so Sheeva had a purpose. I could also she her in next gen, maybe Kintaro and her as king and queen of the Shokans. But I could deal with just Kintaro and bring in another female Shokan because I'd like to see another one.

Thanks for that Jerrod, after the fact wink

Sheeva...

Sheeva is a character who I would really like to see developed better. The question I have about where they take her is this:

Do they keep her with Goro and Kintaro the whole time, or do they send her against Kano and Motaro and Shao Kahn?

Either way, I believe that Sheeva has been brought back just to die, as I don't think she has much to offer. Nevertheless, it's nice to see her back.
Heh... I had asked XiahouDun84 if he wanted to post Sindel's story, he never answered back. (Or maybe he didn't get the pm, I don't know) But anyway...

Sheeva, not much to say for obvious reasons. Can't say she's in my favorites list.

There's really not much I can say about Sheeva, though honestly I expect her to go back to the grave at the end of MK:A.

I'm not a fan of Sheeva. I never really liked her.

I wonder about her motives and what exactly she wants in her life.

I'm sure that despite Goro and the other Shokan siding with Shao Kahn, Sheeva will still be against Kahn. We'll probably see a Sheeva/Motaro rematch somewhere along her storyline.

I think it's likely she'll side with Sindel, and maybe what Sheeva wants is to simply restore pride to her people and perhaps could be something of a leader.

I suppose they could take Sheeva's story in some direction that may have potential for next-gen MK games, but either way, I don't really care for her.

I'd like to see Sheeva fulfill her role as Sindel's personal protector, and ally with Motaro to take down Goro and Kahn for what they did. Why Motaro? I think it would be interesting, really. They both have been screwed over. I think they should set aside their differences and work to put an end to the menaces. In MK8 I would like to see the end of the Shokans vs. Centaurs feud, completely.

Sheeva is in an interesting situation in MKA: she seems to be loyal to her race but she has problems with Shao Kahn. Since Goro and Kintaro are probably allied with the Emperor again, either she will have to turn against her race or join the guy who killed her. From this scenario, she has potential to be either an amazing character or just another character with a messed storyline.

Personally, I dislike the idea of her working for Shao Kahn again. He killed her (or at least tried) and she betrayed him once. I'd prefer to see her join the edenians against Kahn. But also, she should try to convince Goro and Kintaro to do the same.

But she was not successful and have to fight against them. In the end, she kills a lot of shokans and is called as a traitor fot the survivors. It would be an ironic ending for her, who only turned against Shao Kahn because of her loyalty to the shokans.

About Kano and Motaro: I think Kano belongs to Sonya. She deserves the right to kill him much more than Sheeva. About Motaro, I don't see him working for Kahn either, but he has pending things with Sheeva. Depending on his role in MKA, they may cross paths agains. I can't imagine nothing more than one killing the other. Maybe it can be possible to see them as allies in a twisted and crazy way, but I have nothing to basis this.

Even though Sheeva isn't one of my favorites, I think she has potential to be in the next generation. But only if she doen't ally herself with Shao Kahn. If she does this, she can die.

Sheeva is a she, unless that was just a typo.
Well... it's time to discuss the next character. So let's hear for the "sandman" of MK: Kabal!

Before Shao Kahn's invasion, Kabal led a life of crime as a member of the Black Dragon. When Outworld invaded Earth, Kabal's soul was spared. Shortly after, Kabal was attacked by Shao Kahn's extermination squads, he survived but his face was horribly scarred in the process, he was then forced to use artificial respirators to survive and wore a mask to hide his face.

Joining Earth's warriors, Kabal fought hard to assist with ending Shao Kahn's reign. After Shao Kahn's defeat, Kabal renounced his Black Dragon ways and became a vigilante dedicated to fighting crime.

For a few years, Kabal did this, until he was attacked by Mavado, a member of the Red Dragon who desired to see that all traces of the Black Dragon were eliminated. Though Kabal was no longer part of the Black Dragon, it made no difference to Mavado. Mavado defeated Kabal, leaving him for dead and taking his hookswords as trophies.

Kabal was saved by a clergic of chaos named Havik, who nursed him back to health. Havik urged Kabal to retake his old Black Dragon ways and to bring the clan back. Kabal was eventually convinced. Kabal tracked down Mavado, and fought him again, this time the outcome would be different, Kabal slayed Mavado and took his hookswords back.

He then recruited two new members, Kira and Kobra to be the first members of the new Black Dragon. They then travelled to Outworld to meet with Havik, who had plans for them.

I like Kabal and I must say I am a bit disappointed that Kabal is once again part of the Black Dragon, he was cooler as a vigilante, and I would like for him to encounter Kano and/or Mavado again. (He can slay Mavado, but Kano should be left to Sonya) After this, I would like for him to realize the error of what he's doing and once again realize his destiny as one of Earth's Chosen Warriors, after this, he'll go back to being a vigilante.

I know that's unlikely, but that's just me. Other than that, his story's been okay.

I can't see Kabal living past MKA, though I do think he will go down with a bang. He'll slay a lot of Red Dragon members in the process. Then eventually he catches up to Mavado. They both have a fight, but Kabal is fatally wounded in the process. With the last urge of his strength Kabal slays Mavado and dies.

I can't say i'm a big fan of Kabal, but it would be interesting for him to take off his mask before he dies. I know we saw him unmasked in Shaolin Monks, but I want to see his disfiguredness.

Kabal is a cool character, imo. I think his story is fairly decent though I didn't like his return to the Black Dragon along with killing off Mavado. I really did see potential for Mavado's story and for him to be in MKD. I'm really not sure where Kabal's story should go. Either he'll die in some battle against Kano or Mavado or something else will happen to him. Either way, his story should involve Kano, Jarek, Mavado, and maybe Hsu Hao along with of course Kira, Kobra, maybe Havik, and most likely the Special Forces too.

Kabal was my favorite new character to appear in MK3. His mysterious and creepy appearence and loner Aragon-like personality made me a fan instantly. I like his vigilante ways, but things had to go and change back to old ways, just like with many other characters. Going back to the Black Dragon really didn't make any sense, and he had one of the weaker storylines in MKD. Hopefully things will change this game, though I doubt they will just to finish up the Black Dragon thing.

Last time we saw Kabal he was still working on the whole Black Dragon aspect. He really managed to get no where and resorted to just having his recruits kill each other (which is obviously not cannon), but anyways, still very stupid. Doesn't he have any better things to do? Come on, really. His whole existence in MKD was pretty dumb, which actually makes me mad. You can do better with him. What I want to really know is just what plans he has for them and where they are going. Hopefully no where, because I am tired of the the clan's story. I don't see Kabal living past this game honestly.

So with that point said, Kabal has to finish up some things. Mavado is the first threat to eliminate. It seems neither of them can really kill each other as seen, but one must die this time round (for real). I'd rather see Kabal kill Mavado as he started all this shit between them, even after he gave up the BD. By this point, Hsu Hao will be dead (killed by Jax), and Kabal will have no allies (I will explain later). So this will be a fair one on one fight bewteen the leaders, and Mavado will die.

To explain why Kabal will have no allies, I can see Havik convicing Kano to regain his BD leader position. Kano, the greedy bastard that he is, would most likely conceed with him. Getting the trust of Kira and Kobra (Jarek I don't think will really be involved this time, but him too I guess), he tells them to kill Havik as his twisted ways will only get Kano himself dead in the end. With him dead, all Kano has to do is kill Kabal. This is the way I see Kabal's story coming to an end. He basically screws himself over. He should have never gone back to the BD, and this is what Kabal gets for returning to evil deeds.

Basically this is all I have to say about Kabal, mostly nothing good. I liked him in MK3, but this time around he is way too messed up. This is probably the most nitpicked character I have done, as I feel kinda angry right now and I don't know why, so I all I can do is see the bad points about him at this time, which is everything.

I'm not too big a fan of Kabal right now. He was interesting at first, having renounced the Black Dragon and made himself into a bit of a hero. But since he's gone and decided to reform the Black Dragon, I lost most of my liking for him.
Like others, I don't see Kabal making it, and if anyone were to kill him, I'd like it to be Kano. I can't see Kano being too happy about Kabal trying to take leadership of the Black Dragon. I wouldn't mind if Kabal took someone down with him, maybe Jarek (Who I could see supporting Kano if he's not gone out on his own.). But I think he'll die, and it should be by Kano's hands before Kano inevitably gets whupped by Sonya.

Kabal is a character I think might surivive Armageddon. For story purposes at least. All we know about the next generation game is that it'll have a new cast of characters, that's not to say that ties from this story arc won't be playing a role. If Kabal IS fortunate enough to survive, he'll have the new Black Dragon at his command and even less competition if he succeeds in killing Kano, Jarek, or Movado. His influence can be passed down to a new generation of Black Dragon terrorists for the next generation MK.

Though I don't like the fact that he reformed the Black Dragon after his life was saved by Havik, I can't deny the fact that he's got a strong leadership quality which could serve as a nice stepping stone for the next game. That might be the only reason they keep him around.

Of all the Black Dragon/Red Dragon clan members, Kabal has the strongest chance of surviving...with Kira possibly as well.

I think its going to be interesting in the battle for leadership. Kabal vs. Kano. vs Mavado.

Kira seems somewhat deceptive...I wouldn't be surprised if she turns on Kabal.
