Okay then, people, since we need to hurry... Now discussing General NEW MK3 cast for one day! So post all your thoughts about the characters that were introduced in MK3, UMK3 and in Khameleon and Chameleon's case, MKT

Cyrax: Well, I would like to see Cyrax cross paths with Sektor, and who knows? Perhaps Cyrax should be the one to kill Sektor as well? Either way, of the three cyborgs, I see Cyrax as the most likely survivor.

Sektor: Well, I would like for him to align with Noob Saibot to destroy Sub-Zero, I can't image Sektor will survive Armaggeddon....

Sheeva: Well, can't say much for Sheeva, except that she'll more than likely die...

Kabal: Well.. if Kabal survives, I think he could realize his mistake in reforming the Black Dragon and go back to being a vigilante, but if not, he'll die...

Stryker: Considering he's a hated character, I can't imagine he'll survive either... (I'm being cruel aren't I?)

Nightwolf: Same... can't imagine he'll survive either.

Sindel: I think she should die to destroy Shao Kahn or to save Kitana... maybe both...

Rain: While, we don't know his alignment, but if he's good, he could die a hero's death, if evil, he should die as the coward he is.

Ermac: I think he should survive actually and become the new protector of Outworld.

Khameleon: Well, I'd like to see her and Reptile go back to their own realm and repopulate their race, but that won't happen now apparently thanks to Fuckface...

Chameleon: Who cares?

Motaro: Same.. I think he'll die though...

Yeah, I'm being cruel right now. tongue

Cyrax: Cyrax stole Smoke's thunder as being the "good" cyborg, the one with the soul, so I think it's time Smoke gets the spotlight he deserves, and Cyrax retires (I'd rather he left the OIA than die).
Sektor: He never reached the glory he deserved... He could've become the biggest threat to Earthrealm, and deserves a chance to return as a powerful enemy; this way, evil already has a foot in the door and Earth remains involved in more wars.
Sheeva: She should tell Goro to shove it for going back to Shao Kahn; she died trying to stop shao Kahn from oppressing their people, and Goro was almost killed in Shao Kahn's name, yet the Shokan are now loyal to him at the flip of a coin? She should be ashamed of her people and vengeful. If anything, she should die with her hands around Goro's throat and a knife plunged into his chest (multi-tasking rules smile).
Kabal: We didn't even see Kabal as a vigilante. sad I hope to see the Black Dragon and the OIA team-up to destroy the Red Dragon at least... If the story doesn't go in that direction, Kabal may not come back.
Stryker: The only kombatant to fight demons and monsters with the technology humans made and his fighting skills; he deserves another chance, even if he's on his own. Maybe he could the neutral cop who fights for himself.
Nightwolf: I'd like him to survive and bring his people to a golden age on Earth (assuming Armageddon brings about serious changes for all the realms), but I doubt he'll make it to MK8.
Sindel: I think she should die to allow Kitana the crown... To make it more twisted, she should be the one to kill Mileena, or be killed by Mileena. Think about how warped that could be, the mother essentially killing the clone of her daugther...
Rain: Another one-timer, wouldn't be fair of him to just die... But then again, I can't come up with anything good for him either. Maybe make him go to the good guys and be an advisor for Queen Kitana? If not, death.
Ermac: He has to become a power-house after Armageddon; with all the death and all the souls he could have join him, he could become an interesting ally to the good guys. Or perhaps all the souls living within him could finally rest in peace and go to the Heavens for eternal summer slacking. That'd be a neat fate.
Khameleon: I'd like to see her and Reptile go back to their own realm and repopulate their race as the Patriarch and Matriarch, but if she really isn't in there, then... Scary thought. Khameleon = Chameleon. Can change colours and genders! Imagine the twisted scenario!
Reptile: Oh my GOD! What the heck is THIS?!
Chameleon: Oops, forgot to change! *poof* That better, Reppy-deary? wink
In any case, since her appearence isn't guaranteed, she had better return.
Chameleon: I would like to see him evil and come back; if he really did replace Khameleon, they better make his story worth it in the next one.
Motaro: Odds are he'll die, but not before taking a whole lot of people with him. I would like to find out that he got his legs and original power back and was able to take out a few fan-favourite good guys, like Jax, Johnny Cage, Sonya, etc. It would at least make him go out with a bang. glasses

I'll make this short and sweet...

Cyrax: I want him to live and he can take out sektor and go back to the Special Forces....

Sektor: Sektor is just as cool as Cyrax and Smoke but in the end...I like the good guy to win...at least Cyrax. Or maybe he'll actually beat Cyrax and or Smoke. I doubt he'll beat Sub Zero...

Sheeva: Poor Sheeva. I would of loved to see her in more games but i know this is her end. I can pretty much tell by how she's always getting her ass kicked in trailers....

Kabal: I like Kabal. I would like to see him live..

Stryker: Dead.

Nightwolf: I must be one of the few people who thinks Nightwolf is ok...But since he really hasnt brung anything important to the storyline, this may be his last game too...

Sindel: I love Sindel. This is most likely gonna be her last game...But she doent have to die. Just destroy Shao Kahn and hand the crown over to Kitana...

Rain: I really don't care about him. He could be used for future games but I dont see the point...I think he's dead too...

Ermac: let him live. He's awsome.

Khameleon: Now Midway promised that every single character who's thrown a punch in the MK games would appear in Armageddon...where's Khameleon? LYING BASTARDS!!...This is all I have to say...Put her in MK 8...they have no other choice. She's only been in one game. and She's a fan favorite..therefore if she is even mentioned in Armageddon, She better live or I'm gonna be pissed as hell...

Chameleon: Rot in the Netherealm and never return....

Motaro: I'm certain he will die. Nice character, but no point in him being around anymore...

Thats all i have to say....

Cyrax: I think he would self destruct in a massive battle with the Tekunin and the OIA. This is done not only in desperation, but also because he remembers how Sonya and Jax gave him back his humanity. His self destruction will also take Jax and Sektor with him.

Sektor: Read Cyrax

Sheeva: I LOVE SHEEVA! She is awsome and encompasses everything any good character should - cool appearance, great storyline and kickass moves. As for her story... She always unquestioningly followed her Prince, Goro. Now he is siding with the one who killed her against Kitana - who is the one who accepted them and allied with the Shokan even after they did so much harm to Edenia. Also, in the past she had links with Sindel. I have no doubt that she will turn to Sindel and maybe even tell them of Goro's and the other Shokan's treachory. She may even help the Edenians take out Kahn, with Motaro being at Kahn's side...

Kabal: I think Kabal and Kira should be the only two Black or Red Dragon members to survive. Then, after Kabal tells Kira he always thought she was worthy of the Black Dragon, she starts to think he is going soft. Then she learns of his history (MK3 story) and is determined not to ruin the Black Dragon. She (literally) stabs Kabal in the back and takes the Black Dragon as her own.

Stryker: Stryker is very open ended... he has too many possible storylines to know whether he will survive or not. But judging by fan reaction in MK3, I don't have too much hope for him.

Nightwolf: I find his story just... strange. All this sin absolving and all this random stuff... I can't see it going anywhere. I think he will die in MKA, possibly just a casualty in the war. I can't see him being very missed either.

Sindel: Sindel is an awsome character, however I think she will die. As mentioned in my little rant on Sheeva, the Edenians shou;d go to attack Kahn and whoever is with him. I picture Kitana, Sindel, Jade and Sheeva vs. Motaro and Kahn. Sheeva can have Motaro while the others team up on Kahn (and any other no named minions of his). In this battle, Sheeva will kill Motaro and Sindel will die to Kahn. Then, heartbroken, Kitana and Jade will finish Kahn off. But... in Kahn's ending, you slowly see his eyes opening and he growls with rage. So yeah... love her, but she will die.

Rain: I think he will die - I could see him possibly having some interaction with a plotting Tanya, and him aligning with her. Just as Tanya and him are about to attack Jade, he has second thoughts. Tanya is about to attack an unsuspecting Jade, when Rain jumps in front of her, alerting Jade. This leaves a much more powerful Jade to finish Tanya off...

Ermac: I am not sure with Ermac... he is a very loved character (mainly because he is a ninja), but the whole repenting villain is very old. It is stale and dont care for it. However his popularity gives him a high chance of survival. Perhaps he will survive after helping Liu Kang destroy the threat of evil (whoever that may be now that there are so many villains), and feel he has done enough to earn forgiveness for his past. Then he could retire.

Khameleon: I think Khameleon is a lot more civilised than Reptile. I can see Nitara coming back to thank Reptile for all of his helps in getting back her realm, but him attacking her. Perhaps he views her as a traitor. Then Khameleon sees this mindless bloodshed and thinks "I would prefer to have no race then to have one that is a disgrace". Then she will just leave the scene and retire.

Chameleon: Don't know, don't care. I am still crossing my fingers that they will just change the image of Chameleon to a female and give her Crane and Ninja Sword... better than nothing.

Motaro: Read what I wrote about Sheeva.

Cyrax: I like Cyrax, but I'm not sure what should become of him. He should at least deal with Sektor and things like that.

Sektor: I think he has some good potential, maybe even enough to be in the next-gen MK games. My idea is that he pulls a Brainiac by having bodies in which he can transfer his mind into.

Sheeva: I don't really like her, and I'd rather she die.

Kabal: I like Kabal, but like Cyrax, I don't know what should become of him.

Stryker: I don't really like him, but maybe his story will be an improvement in this game. Either way, I don't think he should be in the next-gen MK games.

Nightwolf: I don't see that much going for him unless his story in MKA can lead to him being in the next-gen MKs.

Sindel: She'll most likely die so that Kitana can take care place as the new Queen of Edenia. I would prefer her to survive and do something else.

Rain: hard to say...

Ermac: I'd definitely like to see him become a hero in Outworld.

Khameleon: dunno...

Chameleon: should just die and never return again

Motaro: dunno...maybe we'll see him in the next-gen MKs...You never know...

alrighty!

sindel: i don't like her character very much i think she'll die and kitana (or mileena in disguise) will become the queen of edenia

sheeva: i hate her not interesting but i think she'll survive if she's gone good in MKA if not she'll be killed by jade or something

stryker: i used to dislike the character but he has had a great comeback for MKA i think he'll live and join the OIA

kabal: i like kabal i think he'll be involved in a big fight with kano over the black dragon however i would like to see him become a real good guy and abandon the BD

nightwolf: he's an interesting character i can see him making an alliance with ermac to try to eliminate most of the threats to earth and outworld but i think he'll die protecting someone

cyrax: i think he'll perish in the big fight probably against kobra or kira

sektor: talk about a great reinvention of a charactor this tekunin story is incredible i would like to see him attack the lin kuei

rain: i think he'll regain his honour and become an edenian general or a body garud to edenian royalty
ermac: he destroy's blaze in a show of power not seen in MK since the creation of the realms and becomes the ruler/protector of outworld
motaro: i don't see him going any where in this game he'll probably find a way to return to his centaur form and maybe seperate his realm from outworld

chameleon: he'll return to obscurity

khameleon: she'll remain in obscurity

Ermac: He has proven to be a worthy ally (and now my second favorite ninja), and I can see him moving on to MK8. As said above, it would be cool to see him become a God or something to protect Outworld and keep it peaceful from now on.

Cyrax: He should go out fighting, taking Sektor and his warship with him in a fiery explosion, sacrificing his life for the rest of the OIA agents. Although he has had a good run, the cyborgs should really go this game.

Stryker: I don't really know about him, he has possibilities. He could always join the OIA, and continue it on since the rest of the members will probably die/retire. Or, he could stay by himself, fighting crime on Earthrealm (which is kind of lame). I'd rather he go with the OIA, working as a spy and traveling to different realms to check on their status.

Sindel: She should die fighting Kahn, taking out her long time enemy, but in the process sacrificing herself for her daughter and people. Sindel has been a pretty cool character, but Kitana should be the queen next game.

Rain: I truly wish he would be good. He does know his past know, and him being evil really doesn't suit him in my opinion. Rain can serve a place in Kitana's army or something like that, or maybe in even King in the future MK9 or even 10, if I'm not hoping for too much.

Sheeva: She realizes the stupidity in working for Kahn, and how they been duped this whole time by his scheming ways. Sheeva allies herself with Sindel and fights against the her ex-partners Goro and Kintaro. Of course, that will come with a price, and she will be killed by one of them.

Nightwolf: He doesn't necessarily have to die, even though his purpose in MK is somewhat limited now. Nightwolf could always tap deeper into his powers, and use them to help Earthrealm gain an advantage (he could even use his powers to see into the future). That, or he could be killed by Shinnok, Reiko, or Meat, since I think he'll have some involvement with them (read my Nightwolf evaluation for further info).

Smoke: He should be killed in the process of fighting Noob Saibot. Smoke overloads and destroys himself. He dies in the arms of his good friend, Sub-Zero, making for a moving ending to his sad, sad storyline.

Kabal: He really sucks that he changed back to being part of the Black Dragon again. Kabal should realize his faults, once again, but before he can get out, he is killed by Kano, because he wants the Black Dragon all to himself.

Khameleon: I she does not make MKA, then she BETTER be in MK9. Khameleon needs to get with Reptile and bring back the Saurion race finally.

Chameleon: For some reason I see him as an enemy of Reptile and Khameleon, maybe a member of an opposing race, and something to do with Khameleon's disappearance. In the end, he should be killed by both of them together.

Motaro: He probably will be with Onaga this time around, which I figured from the start. That means a big battle is inevitable, and I'm hoping it will be Kintaro vs. Motaro. I can see Kintaro losing, but Motaro falling to someone else in the end.

Cyrax- I think he should die but at some point he should cross paths with Sektor again in the all out war between the Tekunin, Special Forces and the Black/Red Dragon clans.

Sektor- Same as Cyrax.

Sindel- She will die sacrificing her life for her daughter Kitana during the final battle between Kahn and Kitana, Mileena and Sindel.

Rain- I can't really say whether he will die or not. If he is on the good side, he should live. If not, let him die. He may form an alliance with Tanya at some point if he is evil.

Ermac- He should live on and I see potential in him. He should be the new protector of Outworld.

Kabal- I don't see him living. I see him and Mavado fighting and they both die.

Nightwolf- I don't see him surviving at all.

Stryker- He could join the OIA and help fight in the all out war between the Red/Black Dragon, SF and the Tekunin. I don't really think Stryker will make it at all either. If he does live, I would be surprised.

Khameleon- I hope to see her finding Reptile and they go restore their race and they both retire. Unfortunately, we may not be seeing this due to a certain male ninja...sad

Chameleon- Who cares? He should die and never return again. They gave him Crane... WTF?

Sheeva: I don't really see her surviving. Perhaps a fight with Motaro in MKA?

Motaro: I don't see him survivng either.

Cyrax: Should die trying to protect his allies.

Sektor: Well, I'm almost sure that he'll die, but I'd like to see him return as a threat to the universe.

Sheeva: I doubt she'll survive. If she does, though, I'd like to see her being considered a traitor of the shokans.

Kabal: Too much Black Dragon. Should be killed by Sonya, Jax or Mavado. Another possibility would be Kira betraying him.

Stryker: He will probably die or retire. I don't see him returning.

Nightwolf: Same.

Sindel: Killed by Shao Kahn, in front of Kitana. Then has her happy ending with Jerrod.

Rain: I'd like to see him as an advisor to Kitana in the next generation. But he'd be ready to betray her when it is necessary...

Ermac: Should be one of the main heroes in the next games.

Khameleon: Should try to save her specie. I'd like to see the saurians in conflict with the vampires in the future.

Chameleon: Next, please.

Motaro: I really would like to know more about the centaurs. They were completaly forgot and we only know one side of the shokan/centaur rivalry (Goro's side). But I don't see him surviving.

Cyrax: He needs a new twist in his story, because he is a great character. He should get out of the OIA and should focus more on his tragic situation. I really hope he will make it past Armageddon.

Sektor: I don’t think he’ll make the Armageddon, but I hope he goes out with a big bang.

Sheeva: Not really interested in her story, not a bad character, but haven’t seen anything that ground breaking in her persona in general.

Kabal: A very different character in my opinion, I hope he survives Armageddon, the only Black Dragon I hope survives, but I do hope he breaks away from the Black Dragon Clan and finds a more interesting path in his general plotline.

Stryker: It about time this guy dies, my 3rd most hated character

Nightwolf: A very original component of the MK cast, he should definitely survive, and his storyline should follow his link with the spirit world much closer. He is truly a great warrior and a great character.

Sindel: Pretty neutral towards her general outcome, I’d love to see something unexpected happen in her future, but I sincerely doubt it, it seems retiring to let Kitana get the throne after defeating Shao Khan.

Rain: We have all waited so long to see Rain again, some people even lost hope. I hope he makes it through the Armageddon and he gets a real good and original story, he deserves it!

Ermac: One of my most favourite character, it is logical, probable and somewhat obvious that he will play an important role in the Armageddon and I really hope his storyline evolves in an unexpected and interesting way.

Khameleon: We will see her in MKA and afterwards and everyone will say that they knew this would happen, even if they kept on complaining that she wasn’t in it before the game.

Chameleon: I really hope he gets a personality boost and becomes a true warrior and gets a storyline that impresses everyone, he’ll make the Armageddon too that’s my bet.

Motaro: Not really sure here, he might make it, though I doubt it, I hope he goes out in an impressive way though.

Well guys... time's up. TIme to discuss the first character from MK4... who is actually originally from MKM:SZ. And who better to start with than Quan Chi?

Quan Chi is said to be from the Netherrealm, who was originally an oni, but he transformed upon learning sorcery. It's been hinted that he may be as old as the Netherrealm itself.

Quan Chi made his presence known when he offered to help the fallen Elder God Shinnok, overthrow the then ruler of the Netherrealm, Lucifer, in return, Shinnok would grant Quan Chi incredible power. Shinnok agreed and the vaged war against Lucifer for many centuries. Eventually Lucifer was ousted by Shinnok as the new ruler of the Netherrealm, Shinnok then honored his promise and made Quan Chi a powerful sorcerer.

Shinnok and Quan Chi then made their plans to conquer the realms, but to do so, Shinnok needed his amulet. Quan Chi then made a deal with Shang Tsung. If Shang Tsung was to provide Quan Chi information with the whereabouts of the Map of Elements which led to the amulet's location, Shinnok would assist in resurrecting Queen Sindel's soul on Earth.

Quan Chi recruited two ninja to retrieve the Map of Elements; Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei and Scorpion of the Shirai Ryu. Whichever clan's member was the victor, Quan Chi would've wiped out the other clan's existence. Sub-Zero killed Scorpion, thus giving Quan Chi an undead weapon to manipulate. After Sub-Zero retrieved the Map of Elements, Quan Chi wiped out the Shirai Ryu and their families.

He then recruited Sub-Zero's help to retrieve the amulet, and once Sub-Zero did so, Quan Chi immediately appeared and claimed it, mocking Sub-Zero that Shinnok would soon rule Earth. He then traveled into the Netherrealm. He gave the amulet to Shinnok, but unknown to the fallen Elder God, Quan Chi in fact replaced the amulet with a useless replica and kept the real one for himself.

Quan Chi was then confronted by Sub-Zero, who he mocked by telling him that there existed an evil taint in his soul and offered him a chance to join the Brotherhood of Shadow, but Sub-Zero refused and the two fought. Suddenly, Sareena, one of Quan Chi's assassins appeared and knocked Quan Chi off the ledge, but he somehow survived.

Quan Chi later assisted Shinnok in invading Edenia, thus forcing Earth's warriors to come to Edenia to combat Shinnok. Quan Chi also manipulated Scorpion into defeating the younger Sub-Zero for him. But before Scorpion could kill Sub-Zero, the defeated ninja claimed that he was not responsible for the death of his family and clan. Quan Chi confirmed this and tried to send Scorpion back to the Netherrealm, but Scorpion managed to grab Quan Chi taking him with him to the 5th Plane of the Netherrealm where sorcerers lose their power.

For many years, Quan Chi was brutilized by Scorpion and his powers were weakening. He recruited the two oni, Moloch and Drahmin to protect him from Scorpion, he vowed to escape the Netherrealm with the two oni.

They took him to a shrine that resembled Quan Chi's amulet, but Scorpion attacked again and while Moloch and Drahmin engaged the spectre in battle, Quan Chi took the opportunity to escape the Netherrealm.

Quan Chi landed in the Lost Tomb, where he discovered the mummified remains of the long forgotten Dragon King, he engraved the tomb's markings onto his own skin. He discovered that the army could be revived. He then set out to find Shang Tsung, the only sorcerer who's powers rivaled his.

As he was approaching Shang Tsung's house, Scorpion, who had also escaped from the Netherrealm had attacked him once again, but Quan Chi's powers were returning and he knocked the spectre into the acid moat.

Shang Tsung appeared and congratulated Quan Chi on his victory. Quan Chi lied and stated that Scorpion was on his way to assassinate Shang Tsung. Quan Chi made his proposal for an alliance: if Shang Tsung would transfer warrior souls into the mummified remains of the Dragon King's army, he would open the soulnado which would grant Shang Tsung almost eternal life. Shang Tsung agreed and the Deadly Alliance was formed.

Shang Tsung added that they should get rid of the only two who could stop them: Shao Kahn and Liu Kang. Together, in a false show of alliegance they killed Shao Kahn and then traveled to Earthrealm where Quan Chi played a key role in helping Shang Tsung kill Liu Kang.

They returned to Outworld and set their plans into motion. When Earth's warriors came to confront them, they were too late, the army had been completely revived. And one-by-one, each warrior died, it's implied that Quan Chi was the one who killed Kitana.

Soon only Raiden remained and he fought both sorcerers, Raiden put up a good fight, but in the end he was defeated by the Deadly Alliance. But their victory was short lived, for Quan Chi and Shang Tsung soon turned on each other and fought for control of the undead army. Quan Chi emerged the victory and likely would've gone on to conquer all of the realms, but...

...the Dragon King had returned and Quan Chi could only say: "No, it cannot be!" (Heh) He tried to attack Onaga to no avail, he was helped by Shang Tsung and Raiden, but not even their combined might could stop him. Raiden then performed a sacrifice play by destroying himself to stop Onaga. Onaga was unharmed, but Quan Chi was killed by the explosion... or was he?

I like Quan Chi, he's a very good character and he's got a great story, but having said that, I feel that he should meet his end at the hands of Scorpion in this game.

Yeah, I think Quan Chi is a great character with a great story. He's definitely a different kind of villain in that he's very sneaky, calculating, manipulative, and things like that. He seems to prefer setting things in opposition so that he can sit back and watch the destruction. And once the destruction is over, he can take power and rule the realms and all that.

I see him getting his ass handed to him by Scorpion with perhaps the help of Sareena.

Quan chi i hate personally for being a back staber, but love the plot twits he makes.

He has an obsession with wanting power. I would like to see one game where he is a boss(i don't count deadly allaince cause he can sub-boss at times). He knows more shit than anyone else, possible more than raiden. And quan chi duplicated the amulet. so how much power and knowledge does he have to do that.

i would love to see scorpion kill him, but i also saw he is interested in having sub-zeros family on his side. He has the older brother, makes me wonder if thats the only relative he has. I would like to see him do more than run from scorpion being a whining bitch screaming for his dear life since scorpion gonna make him pay.

There is only one word I can think of to describe Quan Chi... backstabber (and ugly, but that is a different story...). He backstabbed Shinnok in MK4, Kahn in MKDA and Tsung in MKDA-MKD.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Also, though not really backstabbing, he kidnapped Scorpions family in his ending in MKA

He has shown he is quite powerful, but very unreliable. He doesn't have many allies, but many enemies (Shang Tsung, Scorpion, Shinnok, Moloch, Drahmin, Onaga, Shao Kahn, Liu Kang... the list goes on). I think that this game will no doubt mean the end of Quan Chi.

I have always pictured Quan Chi as being a very major character - he played a significant role in MK4, and perhaps the most significant in MKDA. He no doubt deserves to have quite a big story in MKA. Some possibilities include...

1. He and Shinnok will come in contact again. This story is very probable, but Shinnok will most likely also deal with Raiden. I could see Shinnok defeating Quan Chi as Quan no longer has that amulet. It would be a good twist, and I always though Shinnok deserved to be in a GOOD Mortal Kombat Game as the boss, perhaps he can return in the Next Gen

2. He can do something with Scorpion. If you read the spoiler above, you would probably be able to tell that he will play some sort of role with Scorpion. The spoiler, though I believe it to be non-canon, shows Quan surviving. So perhaps he could come into conflict with Scorpion, but Scorp spares his life as he is now a changed champion of the elder gods. Then Quan, humiliated, does what is written in the spoiler. Not sure, but I can definitely see some interaction between the two.

3. For a sub-boss, Moloch had a very insignificant role in MKDA. I could see Moloch and Drahmin perhaps having some interaction with Quan Chi. The only other purpose they could serve is to do something with Scorpion (who already is very busy) or perhaps be confronted by Sareena, who Drahmin possibly had tortured in the 5th plane of the Netherrealm. I think interaction with these Oni would be a good way to round up their stories, perhaps with Quan besting both Drahmin and Moloch.

4. Though unlikely, perhaps Onaga will want revenge on Quan for the attack he made in the intro to MKD. Or even Raiden may fall into the same category.

Well there you have it... Quan, though I dont really like him, definitely deserves a good story. He has many possibilities, the best of which IMO is a confrontation with Shinnok in which Shinnok is the victor.

Quan Chi has certainly laid down enough roots with the MK saga to warrent a pullover into next gen. maybe not MK8 but perhaps 9 and maybe give him some hair this time.

The point is Quan Chi almost rivals Shang Tsung in being the most used villan in all MK (The only drawback baing Quan's never been in a MK Movie) And if Shang Dies, then kill Quan Chi too, if we're getting rid of one, gotta kill off the other, we would need new naughty people.

ahh quan chi where would we be without you..

quan chi is arguabley the stand out new character from MK4

i think quan chi has to die because scorp is gaurunteed to go to the next gen and the scorpion quan chi story has gotten old veeerrry old

i like quan chi he definitely has a cool factor and he is MK's ultimate backstabber (with tanya at a close second) i'd like to see him again but it won't happen because scorpion takes priority over quan in midway's eyes and scorpion desperately needs a refresh

Quan Chi is an awesome character and I am sure the MK Team is very proud of him and won’t sacrifice him to the Armageddon. I believe he is the most powerful sorcerer, even more powerful that Shang Tsung. His story has been however too focused on the battle with Scorpion in my opinion.

Quan Chi has plenty of options in my opinion and should have an interesting storyline in the future.

#1 He can fight Shinnok, Shang Tsung, Shao Khan, Raiden or Onaga just to prove himself as a powerful entity. This is a probable option in my opinion however it isn’t all that original and impressive its basically just another godly battle.

#2 A pretty uninspired option would be for Quan Chi to fight and defeat Scorpion again and forever rid himself of the ninja spectre that had confronted and defeated him for so long. This is yet another probable option, but it is one of the worst options any character has.

#3 After a huge fight with Blaze, Quan Chi succeeds in absorbing his energy and becomes a super being now ruling Netherrealm and plans to enslave all the realms and confront the Elder Gods themselves.

#4 In the events following the Armageddon he fights Shang Tsung, Raiden, Shinnok and Ermac seeking ultimate power and with the help of all their energies he defeats Blaze and is confronted with an avatar of the One Being in a trance like state, the One Being threatens Quan Chi that he has no chance of obtaining absolute power and should renounce such a foolish and failing ploy, but the sorcerer mocks the image of the One Being and swears to become the absolute symbol of power.

Whatever Quan Chi will do next it is obvious he will try to extend his power further how he is to do this remains to be seen however.

Ugh... Pick a character I like already grin

I can't say much about Quan Chi because SOME of us needed to ruin Scorpion's ending for those who didn't want to know...

Anyway, I want his ass dead. From a gameplay standpoint, I liked him with the Broadswords and Escrima, I think it's the right choice for him.

For his future (which I hope is short-lived) I would like to see Scorpion gut him like a fish.

Okay... new character, time to discuss... the main boss of MK4 and final boss of MKM:SZ... Shinnok!

Shinnok's story predates back to the beginning of time, when the realms were created, Shinnok was overcome by a lust for power and desired to take Earthrealm for himself. Though he could not enter Earth, or the other Elder Gods would know what he was up to. Thus, he created his amulet would allow him to enter Earth.

But before Shinnok could lay claim to Earth, he was challenged by its appointed protector, Raiden and so the two fought which plunged Earth into centuries of darkness. But when the angered Elder Gods intervened, Raiden took Shinnok's amulet from him and banished him to the Netherrealm.

There, Shinnok experienced incredible torture from the realm's ruler, Lucifer. But centuries later, Shinnok was made an offer by the sorcerer Quan Chi to overthrow Lucifer in exchange from endowing him with incredible power. Shinnok agreed and the two overthrew Lucifer and Shinnok took his place on his throne.

But Shinnok was not satisified and thus planned his escape from the Netherrealm, but to do so, he would need his amulet, and sent Quan Chi to find it. But when he eventually did, he replaced the amulet with a replica and gave it to Shinnok. However, the Elder Sub-Zero stole this replica back from Shinnok, leaving him to howl in fury.

Several years later, Shinnok was able to begin his escape by entering the realm of Edenia and laying seige to its palace, capturing Sindel and Kitana. Raiden thus led his warriors to confront Shinnok again and... after a final battle, he was said to be defeated once again by Liu Kang, but it is not known what happened to Shinnok after his defeat. It's probable that he was sent back to the Netherrealm after his loss. We'll find out...

I'm neutral on Shinnok, I don't really care about what happens to him, though I think it would be the best choice if he was the one who reanimated Liu Kang's body. Then Liu Kang could be wanting some payback... hehehe... but well I think Shinnok be sealed away forever by something or whatever... but maybe after Quan Chi dies, he can then spend his time torturing Quan Chi's soul? grin A kind of happy ending for Shinnok...

I think Shinnok has a pretty interesting story. I would like Raiden, Fujin, Liu Kang, and maybe Kai to tie into it. I'm not sure on Quan Chi, but perhaps him too. I don't think that he should be in the next-gen MK games so maybe he'll die or be trapped forever or something.

He has a pretty cool story, potential to be very powerful, and his revamped self seems awesome, I hope his colorful ass makes it into the next generation.
