STORY

Personally, i'd like his story to tie into Ashrah Ending if possible.

In a since Ashrah defeat Noob Saibot, but True Evil never really dies... so Noob Saibot retreats... while Smoke is shock trying to recollect himself.

Maybe the Demon Sword i chose for him could come into play. A sword that enhance his abilties and will use this new weapon to continue his quest to amass the army that he desires.

I'm going to break here... but hopefully if new ideas spark i'll be update this topic.

This time, Noob Saibot is a solo fighter and also his name should be Noob Saibot, not Noob!


SPECIAL MOVES

1. Black Fire Ball and Air Black Fire Ball that damages opponites?

2. Black Skull Fire Ball and Air Black Skull Fire Ball that damages opponites?

3. UMK3/Trilogy: Disabler, Shadow Throw and Teleport?

Option 2 sounds cool to me!

But what do you guys think?

Good thread.

All of those outfits for Noob are great and I'd want any of them to be in the game. The one I really want back is the one from MK4 with the hoodie and if he gets it, he should have his Scythe weapon to go with it and perhaps a cloak. He looked amazing like that in MK4.

I'd like him to keep the Monkey fighting style from MKD and have it expanded upon as it;s pretty cool. If not then I wouldn't want it to be Dragon or Ninjitsu. I don't find either fitting for him.

The weapon choices you have a great, but I think many would agree that he should stray away from the use of a sword and have something more original. I'd again go with the scythe or some sort of Netherealm spawned creation. The hellfire Dagger looks great though and that'd be nice to see in game.

As for story I hope that he doesn't kill Sub-Zero and that he frees Smoke. I'd like there to be a power struggle over the Netherrealm maybe between him and Shinnok but given MKA, I doubt we'll see such a thing.

I also want an option to use him on his own as well as with Smoke.

I can only see the second and third weapon pics in your thread, as well as the first pic with the 3 Noob Saibot, there are 2 pics thata re not working (the first weapon and the last one, the dagger you talk about).

Im honestly not a big fan of Noob Saibot, I never have been but he did get very interesting in MKD. The twisted way it was revealed how he was in fact the classic Sub-Zero made me say *wow*, that was great, but at the same time it felt really wrong, for it practically erased the real identity of the character we knew as Noob Saibot before MKD.

That’s my feelings though.

The 2 sword pics I saw are beautiful, but as cool as they look I want less swords in Mk. Im sure something more original and menacing can be given to Noob Saibot, it doesn’t have to be swords.

There are too many around already. What about some made-up original weapon? Like some sort of shadow-snake or something wicked along the “fantasy” lines?

As for his story, I too want to see him greatly involved with Ashrah, but I cant deny it would be very interesting to see his involvement with Sub-Zero (his young brother) and Scorpion (his acrh-enemy) and even Smoke (his puppet). He is greatly involved with all this characters, hopefully they will find a way to tie the stories together and do justice to them all.

Again, the sword pics are amazing, but I prefer not to see anymore swords in Mk, unless they look really weird and play extremely different.
for the record i think smokes alternate costume sucks do u guys agree

About the broke images, the pics loaded fine to me. Sorry i can't do anything about.

You could right click the images and copy the image link in properties and paste in a new browser.

But you guys makes some good statements. But i might disagree with you on somethings.

The pics consist in Order

I disagree with giving him a grim reaper costume. Havik already fits that role of death cleric. Noob Saibot is a ninja type warrior. Not robed monk of death. I prefer an altunate costume that differates from the defaults. Just not robe like!

I didn't like the monkey fighting style but the dragon fighting style will fit him great as someone has said and i would like to see him with a sythe giving him like a grim reaper kind of thing. Personally i think in the end he will rule the netherrelam and be some big evil in the next gen cause if you think about it. Besides trilogy and deception hes been a secet character in mk4 mk 2. I really think he is more powerful then most bosses we yet to see his potentional as a fighter. Think about it he beat goro with ease. If he and ashrah ever fought he win. thats just my opinion .

I like the weapons u piked as long as they r the color of him. but i disagrre on his fighting styles. He should keep monkey and add shotokan since he is the old SZ reincarnated.

1. Because everyone is sick of almost everyone haveing a sword for example. Noob haveing the Scythe makes him unique.

Lol i guess the syche is represents death which he causes all the fighers who faces him lol. I personally love his dark persona i would like to see a syche but if not its all good. As long as he doesn't turn all good and is still big evil tis fine with me. I personally don't like the monkey style for him atleast but if he has it again i wouldn't mind.

As a big Noob-Saibot fan I have to enter this thread!

First of I just have too say that I was really hapy to see Noob in MK6 with a story and everything. It was just too bad that you couldnt play him as a seperat character. (The same goes for Smoke ofcourse.) They should have came upp with the idéa of having too characters together in MK5 allready. As the final boss, Shang Tsung & Quan Chi should have been fighting together as the Deadly Alliance against you! In Deception you should have been able to play 2 vs 2 like in DoA but still bee able to play 1 vs. 1. I like Smoke alot too, but it would have been much better if they were seperate characters! That's what I think. But in MK7 I finally will bee able to play Noob-Saibot alone!!!

Another thing I didnt really like in MK.6 was his first costume. I Didnt like that you saw his skin. Noob, in my opinion, is just as his alt. costume. BLACK! DARK!! EVIL!!! Keep it like that! Black!

As a weapon I think the scythe really worked for him in MK4 so they could bring that back, something like the reaper of darkness. hehe But like Vasculio said.... the hood costume stuff is Haviks thing and a scythe and hood goes together like... you get the picture. Maybee theyl come up with something new... wel see.

Looking forward too MK7!!!

The last weapon someone would use is a harvester scythe. It is just not suited for combat.

OK, the pictures look good, very good, I just don't like the dge of the shoulders, thez are too pointy.

How about Flail then? (Nunchaku but instead of steel polls its 2 mini scythes like in Ninja Gaiden).

Just like the popula consensus is here, I feell like ther are too many swords (there are also too many blades but that is inevitable.) For a weapon, I would much rather prefer those weapons that are chains with a ball on one extreme and a scythe-like blade on the other. It could also have the exact same story that you have for the sword there.

The pics look great by the way, nice concepts. If I were to pick one of the looks for Noob Saibot, I would go with the 3rd no question. For some reason I still don't like the fact that I can see his human-like skin. Charcoal is the isht.

Story-line wise, a power struggle within the netherrealm would be great. In addition to that power struggle, I would also like a personal one with smoke due to smoke probably gaining self awareness or something.

1) I Don't want Noob Saibot and Smoke to be a tagteam anymore, thats just screwing us out of more styles.

2) The alternative costume for noob should feature him with a long loose black gown or clock to give him that "ruler of hell" felling that MK is gonna establish. Since his story was leaning twords him ebing in control of the Neatherealm she should look like it, hes not a lin quei Ninja anymore, hes the ruler of neatherrealm. He should still wear the mask though, but he NEEDS TO LOOK LIKE A BOSS, HES CURRENTLY TOO PUNEY.

3) He needs an attack similar to sub-zeros freeze attack only instead of freezeing the opponents body is tintied black and moves extremely slow untill hit or is left standing alone for about 5 seconds.

4) IF A SWORD MUST BE GIVEN, LETS NOT HAVE IT HAVE THE SAME STANCE OR STYLE AS ANYONE ELSE, i like the demonic sword at the top, and i know swords have been over-used but if a good stance and good moves are given to him..

5) The weapon i wanna see is the SORCERERS STAFF that resembles the pharos staff only black with a triabgular pyramid like crystal on the edge. It should also be held like a kings staff, in a standing straight stance and should have a few dark arts attacks...

6) NOOB NEEDS A TRADEMARK MOVE!!!!! THINK OF ONE PEOPLE, BASICALLY EVERY GOD_DAMED CHARACRTER HAS ONE BUT HIM!!!! I suggest a move resembling quan chis falming green skull. A good possible weapon could be a shape shifting wepon like Necrids from soul calibur two, only made of basciallt black matter and shifts into differnt weapons as used.

If anyone shouldve had the Monkey, why couldn't have been Shujinko. He actually went to prison and that style would fit him more than Noob Saibot.
"The prison term is referenced to the Monkey video in the Kontent Video Section."

I hope to the powers that be... that Noob Saibot doesn't end up with the Monkey style twice.

I rather have Jinko with Baimei Quan. Monkey is a mobility style what old men lack.

The only logical scythe used in warfare was during the pesants uprising in around 1415 and so on + the Hussite wars. The blade was not like the harvesters edge, but straightened out , resembling much more to the weapon Sindel and Hotaru has.

Otherwise, the scythe was a neer suicidal and utterly inefefctive weapon. No momental surface where it could cut, no focal point for an attack. Simply useless.
