My only concerns with Cyrax is to definitely bring back the green net and also give him a better weapon that a friggin Star Wars Light Saber rip-off.

Cyrax is my favorite MK Character.

I really think that weapon is cool. What else do you expect a robot to have?
I think that him joining the Special Forces was pretty cool too.

Cyrax was the first character I picked in MK3 (Arcade). At first I thought he was Scorpion lol, boy was I mistaken.
He's definitely one of the better characters.
His bombs were way too slow in DA. The green net definitely needs to come back, and the exploding teleport.
Cyrax's fatality was badass, it was the best fatality in deadly alliance.
I loved his main costume and the alternate reminded me of RoboCop with his human face showing. That was definitely neat, and I would love to see a variation of that costume in Armageddon.
I hope only Cyrax will have the traditional MK3 cyber armor out of all the cyborg ninjas returning. Smoke already has a unique look from Deception. Seems like Sektor will be getting one too (previously seen in gameinformer's exclusive artwork for Armageddon).

if the net comes back, its gonna have to be faster, because itll be punished on sidestep too easily, same with bombs

No faster than Scorpion's Spear and Sub-Zero's freeze.

Cyrax is one of my fav characters as well. I am 100% sure that he was my 1st new character I tried out back in 1995 when MK3 hit arcades. He was also the 1st character I mastered in MK3. He is my fav character in the Mortal Kombat 3 series.
To be honest I didn't like him all that much in MK: DA. In fact he is my least fav. His MK3 outfit looked better, and to be was more ninja like at the same time you could tell MK team was tipping their hat to Preditor sort off. I like Cyrax's 2nd outfit without his helmet. It was so cool to see his face. I'd seen his face in the cartoon , but Sektor was black and Cyrax was white. So it was a semi suprise. His fighting style didn't fit him IMO. In general I think he fighting styles was based too much on pop up attacks and throws and not enough brute force attacks Also I miss his green net. I hope in MK: A he is given new fighting styles to fit his character.One last thing, I would like him to get his teleport back. It was extremely usefull in the MK3 series, not to mention it looked cool.
Storyline wise I didn't like his move to the special forces. To me he should have went rogue ( something I am hoping that Frost will do) or stay with the Lin Keui. Special Forces to me just should be made of Sonya and Jax. I hope he surives MK: A, I would love to see him again on next gen hardware.

dude i just gotta say cyrax kicks ass!!! he's 1 of my top 12 favrite mortal kombat characters and he needs his net back b'cuz it made him stand out more and ummm yea thats all.

I think that Cyrax should be the only cyborg to move to the next generation, because he's the only really important and interesting one.

Yep, Byrax owns hehe.I loved him in MK3.UMK3 as well Frost.The bomb tricks combined with his nasty Net plants= success lol.
I'm sure you know what I mean, but they have to make his moves once brought back like they were.Also make his Net fast as well.His bombs have to be more oldschool like, MK:DA his bombs left something to be desired.

But his MKDA Meat Grinder move was awesome.

I loved him in MK3, along with all the other Cybourgs. I really want his net to return as its kinda like his trademark move (like scorpions spear). He should have a new outfit i think, a mix of the old and new one. I think the one in the movie was great.

Ah yes, good to see a few people still like him despite the loss of the net...he used be extremely popular, and poof...now he seems more hated than anything (though ironically, he won the 2nd Boot/Immune game thingy)
When MK3 came out, it was the first MK game I was waiting for...the other two, I played and whatever, but was too young to really know they were coming out...so I rented MK3, and saw the new ones...I was about to pick Sektor, but my brother, knowing Yellow is my favorite color, told me there was a yellow guy who looked similar...so I picked him, while my bro picked my soon-to-be 2nd favorite, Kabal...I whipped his ass, and bought UMK3...and became nearly invincible using Cyrax (and Mileena for that matter)...just gravvy his Fatals were awesome and he easily had the best Animality...BACK, BACK, LOW KICK...such a great move
Yes he was disappointing in MKDA, but I still liked him, and his fighting styles were pretty good...again, the net is sorely missed...and his story kind of dropped
Honestly, I want him to turn bad again...I know fans of others or whatever would disagree, but honestly...he has to be the best of the SF...hes the only one who doesnt continuely get his assed kicked in real and fake endings...
Id prefer him to reunite with Sektor as bad guys...but its not him being a good guy thats the problem for me, its him being in a group like SF...Jax and Sonya are ridiculously stale, and Kenshi had charisma, but he turns out to be the flavor of the month...dont hear about him much anymore, now...
Costume needs to stay within the MK3 look...Smoke drastically changed, and really, I saw him as the weakest cyborg...I liked him in MK3, but he has become ludicrously overrated, and I hate his new look...Sektor's look should be more similar to Cyrax' than Smoke's, I hope...I like the mesh-looking costume Cyrax wore...and his MKDA costume looked a bit unchanged, but the green/red buttons dont go well with the yellow...as I said in another thread...his belt looks like an 80s VCR

Okie i think his meat grinder in MKDA should be given to Sektor i mean Sektor is fully Robotic while Cyrax is Half Human which is so Dumb in his Alt costume in MKDA i though it was stupid when he did his fatality as he had a human body with a big metal claw in him...
Im hoping they give him his net and exploding teleport bak and he's no longer half human, just her has his memory!

Well, technically Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke are all robotic meaning in their cyborg form.
Cyrax has changed a bit, Smoke has as well.So, I guess out of the 3 Sektor is the only souless 100% robotic ninja left lol.
Sektor is just evil, lol Cyrax still has his soul and so does Smoke.
I wonder if Cyrax will get his Air throw back, then again if everyone has an air throw he won't need it I suppose.

Give him the Net back....thats his most memorable special move.
Also, take away from stupid Darrius his AWESOME MKDA nitro kicks, I hated that they gave them to him in mkd.
Also, make his look a bit more interesting. A bit more "new".

Darrius had it in MK:D but didn't care because darrius sucks imo and Cyrax wasn't in it.

If you grew up playing the old school games, Cyrax was easily one of the best fighters...MKDA messed him up considerably...
Going to a Cyrax thread and saying he sucks is a little strange...but hey, freedom of speech...but if I was borderline flawless with him (and Mileena for that matter) growing up at 12 years old, he must not of sucked...what I mean is, take Darrius for example...is there any out there who really is borderline flawless with him? Probably not...now THATS a sucky fighter for ya

Cyrax is one of the best in MK 3.Even though his tier in UMK3 might not be the highest, if you know how to use him well.It doesn't matter.His bombs along with using his Net with precision=Victory.
Cyrax is awesome, he wasn't the best in MK:DA and was disappointing but he far from sucks.He's good. My fault man, forgot.
