Someone I think they'll kill her. I hope they don't as that would be stupid given how great her story has become. She has surpassed Kitana in that area along with gameplay and is now the superior of the two as far as I see it.

I just hope she's left with Mian Chuan in MKA and that this style gets a few more combos.

Her story is obviously going to come to an end but I don't know if she should take revenge on Kitana. Sure she'd be happy, but then what? I can't see her being fully at peace with herself especially given all the others who have treated her like dirt. Si I don't know if she should be killing everyone and we get some cliche ending. Then again, I don't want her being killed in some lame way or have Kitana beat her yet again. that'd be boring also, so it's a tricky situation.

As long as she continues her deadly masquerade as Kitana and manages to wreak some more havoc and chaos, I'll be pleased!

You're right, Mileena's plot needs to end, at least this chapter and I to get a feelin she will die. Which is wrong because she has surpassed Kitana only fair she survives. Unless as someone mentioned (can't remember who it was but whoever it was is right) Mileena and Kitana can come to some sort of alliance or make peace with each other, so neither has to kill the other, something to keep the two of them alive. The sister rivalry needs to end.

I really hope she'll live past Armageddon. I have a feeling they'll kill her off because they'll think that Mileena's story doesn't surpass the boundaries of her rivalry with Kitana.

She was one of the first female characters and definately one of the most unique characters in MK history. One thing I really hope they do is make Mileena even more twisted. The laugh at the end of her fatality was awesome.

One thing I'm hoping definitly won't happen is Mileena and Kitana merely have a fight and one dies. Lame.

Yet another rematch with Kitana wastes Mileena. For one thing, it's getting old: Mileena trying to kill Kitana in every game. It's time we see Mileena do something new and interesting than merely hunting down Kitana again. For one thing, I think Mileena has bigger things to worry about than Kitana....like Baraka for one. I've always suggested Tanya should try to screw her out of the throne. And I doubt Onaga's happy she's taking her own power.

However, like it or not, Mileena is probably going to get drawn into Kitana's story one way or another because this is the grand finale game. They HAVE to have at least some sort of interaction or confrontation because it'd be anti-climactic for them not to. But that doesn't mean they have to fight and kill each other.

If they're looking to bring closure to Mileena's story, is fighting Kitana the way to go? Kitana simply killing Mileena, while it may be fitting, is a waste of Mileena's character. I like Mileena and she has a good story and IMO, she deserves better than being treated as some meager threat that simply gets stamped out by the hero.

Proper closure for Mileena should not be killing Kitana. That's anti-climactic and accomplishes nothing. As I said, getting killed by Kitana again is just a waste. Like Kitana, a meaningless fight brings Mileena no closure and just wastes her.

So what would be proper closure for Mileena? For most...if not all...of her life, Mileena has been trying to win Shao Kahn's approval. But he always favored Kitana, hence why she hated her. Good closure for Mileena would be finally realizing Shao Kahn doesn't love her, has treated her like shit her whole life, and finally letting go of her hatred for Kitana.

As we know, Mileena has usurped Kitana's identity and trying to take her own power. Now Shao Kahn is back and what do you think his response to that will be? He'll propable expect Mileena to grovel before him and be his slave again. But having finally tasted power for herself, Mileena might not want to become his servant again. Problems.

Mileena's deception won't last since Baraka is apparently still alive. Not to mention the real Kitana, Sindel, and Jade are all still alive. Mileena's ruse is going to be revealed and she's going to be on the run with nowhere to go.

Anyone who's been following my posts on Kitana's story should already know she should be trying to destroy Shao Kahn once and for all.
So Mileena could then find herself in the battle between Kitana and Shao Kahn forced to choose being her "father's" slave again, or finally letting go of her hatred for Kitana. Or maybe Mileena simply sides with Kitana to only kill Kahn, but plans on fighting Kitana after. And during the fight Kitana saves Mileena's life, leading back to that choice. Could Mileena finally let go of her hatred for Kitana?

During or after the fight, Mileena can finally realize Kitana doesn't deserve her hatred after all and finally lets go. She could then move on and try to form a new life for herself in the next generation games...outside of Kitana's shadow.

I fully agree with everyone here that Mileena has surpassed Kitana in every possible way, and no doubt she is the best of the ninja female assassins.

As much as I love her, and as much as I prefer to see her destroy Kitana then be killed, it just doesn’t feel right. After years of pain and battle, it would be kind of...weird to make Mileena kill Kitana (who I admit disserves her happy ending)...I guess the answer to this would be having Kitana “defeated” but not killed, or having Mileena let go of her anger towards the princess.

Like it or not, these 2 *have* to met for a final time in this game and have some sort of confrontation. I dislike the idea of them making a “truce” or “pact” and work together, because it takes away the essence of their rivalry and Mileenas psycho hate-obsession, plus its been done before so it feels like a dull “cliché”.

Mileena has more potential and personality then Kitana or Jade will ever have, she is interesting, she is deeper, she has a lot going on for her that allow twists and interesting plots. Kitana is still stuck trying to save her realm with the same stale story, and Jade hasn’t really gone anywhere, her story is just as stale. And I even have to say Sindel (MKD) is lost in the boring realm as well, not counting Mk3 of course (amazing story).

It even feels that its thanks to Mileena that the entire “Edenian goddy goddy” plot isn’t dead. Kitana, Sindel (not counting Mk3), and Jade have simply done nothing to keep the story alive, they all need a twist and fast. Mileena got it ages ago, and thank God they decided to use her potential with MKD.

But I feel Mileena is going to die, sadly the bitch had it coming, but she doesn’t fully disserve it (she has suffered unfairly too). She has evolved to become an amazing character, so I hope she goes away with fashion.

Kitana and Mileena rivalry has to end, its about time, enough is enough, its old and repetitive. Hopefully this game closes that and does justice to both characters.

You're right about Kitana suffering and deserving a happy ending, she should but Mileena has suffered much much worse. While Kitana was raised by Kahn, he treasured her as his own, he loved her, Mileena was not so loved, Kahn could trust her but he could not love her, she was dragged up beside Kitana and left to watch her. Mileena suffered death, slavery and imprisonment as well as her hideous face which I think she has actually just about come to terms with. (her coyness and twisted sillyness in MKD) I think Mileena is one of the few tragic bad guys who deserves their happy ending, not to take over Kitana's life but to feel comfortable in her own, to fully realise that she doesn't need to be Kitana, shes better than her. MKD sent her relationship with Baraka down the can so whatever happens to her in MKD she needs to deal with Baraka. Hopefully slaying him. She didn't actually betray him, well not at first. She didn't know that Bo' Rai Chos forces were capable of beating Barakas. What magic could she have given. Hang on, that raises a question! Magic? Is there something about Mileena that could be revealed in MKA?

Anyway, I think Mileena in Deception was better gameplay wise then Kitana was in MK:DA but I'm sure Kitana will get better in MK:A and Mileena will be able to hold her own for sure.

SHoa Kahn never rally loved Kitana or Mileena. Shao Kahn only saw them as his personall assasins. That is why SHao Kahn created Mileena in the first place. Shao Kahn started to doubt Mileena's ability as assasin. So he created Mileena who was supposed to be what SHao Kahn wanted Kitana to be. However, even Mileena wasn't good enough. I think Kitana and Mileena should form a alliance and kill Shao Kahn. Oh yeah, Kitana can help Mileena kill Baraka. The sister rivalry thing hasn't gotten boring(thank god Midway added the baraka rivalry), and a battle where one fo them dies seems like a cliche way to end it.

Mileena really is one of the best characters ever created. It would be a shame to see her dying on a fight with Kitana or Jade or whatever cliché that could happen... I think this letting-Kitana-go thing really could happen, and it would be great to see what Mileena's new purposes would be. She already has proven before how much power she has... I think (and I hope) she can survive the Armageddon. ^^

How should Mileena look in the future?

Should she stayed veiled? I'm not sure, I know the veil can't last indefinitley but unveiling her just seems wrong, ok for fatalities but for a costume? No. If I do Mileena's fatality 'Yummy' I always take time to look at her face, the few seconds I get is more than enough, it should be more than that, it'll just ruin it. She should wear some revealing clothing, black leather and pink silk worked beautifully in Deception, female fighters outfits will NEVER be practical so they may as well be stylish. Revealing suits Mileena in my opinion. It just adds to her wickedness. I hope her new outfit flows around her like her MKD sleeves, the matched her movements in Ying Yeung just lovely and nicely in Mian Chuan and Sai too. Even in the early shots of Lui He Ba Fa the ouftis suited perfectly. I kinda like the idea of Mileena to wear a cloak, Little Red Riding Hood style, black leather with pink silk edges with a simplistic leotard style underneath or something similar. MKSM broke the leotard tradition for Mileena. But it broke it well I love her MKSM outfit.

I really like Mileena, and I was very happy for her when she took rule of Edenia... and I thought she was doing a very good job. She wasn't "evil", she was just ambitious to get what she thought was hers.

Odd that a series like MK managed to drag storylines out ot the very end, we've waited 14 years now, finally we're gonna see results, I can only pray they'll be good ones.
