My mistake. Message corrected.
Makes you wonder if people hadn't thrust the "gays are wrong" message in the homosexual communitie's face, said community wouldn't HAVE to parade their belief that it is right.
Quite hypocritical, actually. If everyone would leave everyone BE, there wouldn't be an issue either way.

Although it rarely occurs, what humanity is truly about is morals and standards. We take a step forward, then another two steps back. First it was mostly polygamy, now its mainly monogamy. Then the bit about homosexuality....then maybe we might come back to our senses.
For all you pro-homosexual folk out there, I suppose you'd advocate interhuman-animal relationships as well? People going to San Francisco to marry zebras and gorillas?

I mean, you couldn't argue its wrong...it doesn't bother anyone, now does it? We've got to put a stop to this insanity somewhere.

Unfortunately, this is the sort of attitude is one of the reasons why there are so many venereal epidemics, not to mention people being unable to forge stable relationships.

I don't go around telling people "Hi, my name's Roger, and I'm straight."

Dan seems to be (no offence, correct me if you want, but is it really necessary to put "Male - Gay" in your profile?)

Dan is being Dan and thats his personal profile. He can do whatever he wants. You just cant assume all gay people are the same.

Now thats just crossing the line. We're talking about human beings loving one another, not animals and humans being together.

This is why is hard to have a decent arguement with people like you. You are totally comparing diferent things.
The sad thing is that people that are not open minded are the ones that end up with gay sons/daughters. That's why the stay in the closet for many years.

For someone who acts so enlightened, you seem to make pretty bizarre generalizations about people who support and accept things that you don't agree with. Beastiality and homosexuality are two different thing; humans are all one species that can acknowledge emotions and have sex for more than just the reason of passing genes.
Of course, now I would imagine your argument would be that "so you're against inter-specie relationships, eh? Not willing to accept that some humans may love and want to sleep with goats!" Animals have sex to procreate, humans have it for pleasure and/or to express deeper feelings for a potential mate. Beastiality is just for pleasure, as I know quite a few dog-lovers who are not "dog-lovers". You can't link the two and assume that people who have no problems with homosexuality will automatically support their neighbour screwing a doberman.
This thread is... gay. Rofl. Meh. (skull).
Anyone, I don't like gays because:
They make me uncomfortable.
It's unnatural.
Their um, gay? Meh.
Tis my opinion, live with it.
BTW, considering that most real lesbians are ugly, I don't really like lesbians. Heh, atleast I am not hating on just one side. Oh well.

"Dan is being Dan and thats his personal profile. He can do whatever he wants. You just cant assume all gay people are the same."
First of all, where did I state or even imply that all gays are the same?
Secondly, I have no problems with Dan, and he's perfectly capable of doing whatever he wants, but if we can't question other people's ideals, then there would be no such thing as debate.
Thirdly, there is one small error in my post: When I say "hate" that is an exaggeration on my part. I meant that it mildly irritates and confuses, me; it's not something I seeth over or lose sleep about.

who are you to tell me who I can or can't love? homosexual don't need to copulate, and neither do I.
Yeah, I did exaggerate, although slightly. You all agree that human and animal relationships are absurd, as do I. But that's the path we're headed to, if we keep degrading our concepts of love and matrimony.

My mistake. Your previous quote "I hate it when gay people...." sounds like youre refering to all gay people rather then some.

I agree with you mostly except about the lesbians part. Lesbians are ok wit me althought its still wrong imo. But 2 men together also makes me feel uncomfortable. It is just as you said unnatural, not as nature intended. Look at the birds and bees. male/female. Also, 2 men cant have kids and neither can 2 women. It just isn't right imo.

I'm gonna tell a little story. When I was in high school I was a little bit of a homophobe. I didn't hate gay people but I didn't like them around me and I avoided them. Then when I was in college I befriended this girl that had quite a few gay friends and I found out that this guy that I worked quite closely with on many group projects was gay. It caught me completely by surprise because I had no idea. I started to think about all those times we had worked together and I slowly realized that there was no sign. He was just a regular guy that happend to like other guys.
At that moment I realized that gay people are just like the rest of us. There people...people are people regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, etc.

Unless you're saying there's a connection between homosexuality and vd, your reply makes no sense. All I was saying was that the difference between straight and gay sex is purely mechanical. As long as the emotions are the same and all parties involved want to participate, hetero and homo sex are virtually the same thing.
Also, stable relationships are boring.

You know, after watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy and some of the X-Men movies, I thought Ian McKellen was a brillant actor, right up there with De Niro and Pacino for me. I went to Wikipedia about a month ago to read about him, and literally fell out of my seat when I found out he was a homosexual.
It's not gay people I dislike so strongly, but the 'gayness' itself.
