Espio872 the Finn got a response!
Back in the business, I never forgot you, just postponed this a little.
Helsinki isn't a bad choice at all I tell you. It was just chosen as the World Design Capital 2012 recently. The New York Times, a well respected newspaper, listed Helsinki as the world's #2 place to visit this year. The first one was Panama, but I'm not sure what your education possibilities are in there, lol. You can see the list here. Now that I think of it, Helsinki is somewhat media sexy what comes to celebrities. Adam Lambert and his Finn boyfriend spent their Christmas in Helsinki and Anthony Bourdain just spent a few days in Helsinki last week, to name some.

The presidental election is in action in Finland too, with our six year term system (2000, 2006, 2012), and the new candidates to follow up our female president are very diverse. Out of eight candidates, two of them are women, two of them are of foreign origins and one of the strongest candidates (Haavisto) is queer. I bet that the final election will be about Haavisto vs. Niinisto. In 2008 there was a female president and a female prime minister in the same time which is very exceptional globally. Could this be just precursory openmindedness? Bill Clinton recommends.

I must elaborate that Halo is still considered to be an American series - and that it is, despite its Finnish influence. Its sci-fi vibe is pretty breathtaking nonetheless. USA is a big country, which is why it's a formidable option to me. I'm not sure where'd I go in there yet, maybe Alaska (not really though). Feel free to ask any questions via PM - we can discuss about this further there too. Anyway, do what you feel the best. There are other Americans in our schools too, so you shouldn't feel alone. We can also meet during your time here, surely. I can assure that you won't regret the land of a thousand lakes as a choice, Espoo872!

You are wonderful and such a great help my good sir.
So much high quality information and you compiled it in a very engaging format, and you added your trademark wit and humor, yay!
Northern Lights oh dear, that is just breathtakingly beautiful.
I'd probably roll with Helsinki, I'm assuming the University of Michigan would most likely set me up in the capital, though I would love to check out any of them.
I like that band, a lot actually and it's not usually my type of music, but I will check out I-tunes or Amazon mp3 and get it, there's something just awesome about that song. The vocals in particular, you've got awesome taste for sure.
As for Mount Halti, I checked it out and its the highest location in Finland? Jeeze that's awesome, I need to get in shape for that lol.
It's amazing how I've been ignorant of how many contributions come from Finland, I adore Saunas and although I don't play most of those games, Halo and Max Payne always looked awesome.
I remember when I was in Germany several summers ago, it was barely night, it was definitely a confusing and fresh experience, I loved it though.
You should definitely give it a shot, we loved getting exchange students back at my old school, we've had quite a few from Brazil, Germany, and South Korea to name a few.
Low crime rate is definitely a plus, one of the appealing things about both Finland and Japan. the U.S. has a high crime rate, but I was lucky to live in an area of Michigan than has an extremely low crime rate and still has areas with that urban big city feel.
You'll have an interesting experience here, no matter what, but due to the large scale of our country it would be a bit hard to give relevant info as it all would depend on the region you go to school.
What year are you in at college?
I'm a sophomore for all intents in purposes at the University of Michigan.

Dear Espionage872, do you fear the radioactivity that's now around the eastern Asia? As a Finn myself, I'll enlighten you with what is in Finland:*Beautiful landscapes
*Hot summers and snowy winters
*Nightless nights in summer
*Friendly people
(yet shy, don't be afraid to open conversations)
*The world's #1 innovative nation (you'll instantly notice some everyday conveniences exclusive to us)
*The world's #1 educated nation
*The world's least failed state
*Unique language (series like MK, Star Wars and LotR often utilize Finnish words)**
*The majority of the Finnish youth speak fluent English despite Finnish isn't even English-related and we have our second language i.e. Swedish.
*You'll get along with Finns better than with Japanese because Finland is of The West.
*We have Mt. Halti and I assure that you'll see gorgeous landscapes from there!
*Santa Claus comes from Finland.
*Finnish metal music is simply top-notch.
*Finland vs. Sweden rivalry is incomparable.
*More stuff in USA than you know of is actually of Finnish development. There are Finnish directors, musicians and actors in Hollywood and for example Halo: Reach was directed by Marcus Lehto (FIN).
*Europe is by the way the world's most diverse region; visiting Central Europe doesn't tell much about the Nordic countries yet.
*The best universities in Finland for you to go would probably be either the University of Lapland (the northernmost), the University of Turku (Turku is the culture capital city of Europe) or the University of Helsinki (one of the world's best in ranking).
*For further information, just ask Conan O'Brien!
Japan isn't a bad country either I tell you. It is ranked as the #2 most innovative country in the world. Japanese people have other connections to Finns too, for example we have similar names (Mari, Aki, etc.), excellent video games (Finnish games: Max Payne, Alan Wake, Angry Birds, FlatOut, Trials HD, to name a few) and you know how much there are games in Japan. Then again, take into account that our population is mere 5M whereas Japan's is 127M and you can play games and read anime enough in USA too, right? Finland has a lot of history to tell about, in 2017 Finland celebrates its 100th Independence Day - we have had to defend ourselves from Sweden's kingdom in the medieval times, and Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union in WWII yet we're still breathing, haha.

Nokia and sauna are the most Finnish thingys. Finland was nominated as the #1 country of the world in 2010, so the crime rates are pretty low. We are in fact pretty open-minded though we demand quite a lot from politicians; Finland is also one of the least corrupted nations in the world and of course we're civilized due to the education (There are no slum areas here). We are also part of the European Union and we've been active in its conferences ever since the 90s. I will probably spend a year as an exchange student in USA at some point too because being an exchange student is always marvelous I hear. Man, get over here and see you in the university next fall. Be there!
** 'Tarkata' is Finnish for 'to notice' - you'll have to notice the Tarkatan differences (Mileena) or else you're in a mess. The Jedi fighting style, Rautakäsi, is Finnish for 'Iron Hand'. The Lord of the Rings series utilizes our language even more heavily than MK and Star Wars combined. Finnish is quite easy after the basics in the long run.

Arcana Heart is the Virtua Fighter of 2D games. The characters are ADORABLE (a dog-girl/ninja? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF), but expect to take your sweet time learning the game, as it's VERY heavy in regards to the learning curve.

In MK:DA I mostly used Sub-Zero(I hated his Primary, loved his Alternate), Scorpion, and Cyrax

What is MKAK? I read it as "my cack."
So I'm reading "if anyone's up for some of my cack..."

You mean, it's NOT pronounced "my cack"?
I say my cack all the time anyway just for the fun of it.

When I fight against a new-comer as Smoke, I sometimes turn invisible as a surprise and begin inputting furious combos. It works as a nice camouflage and the opponent doesn't know how to react. Its enhanced version in the other hand is completely invisible.

I'm told that heaven is the ultimate paradise, where all your wishes and dreams come true.
Well, all my wishes and dreams involve sex, drugs, and rock n' roll, but those are considered "sins" that aren't allowed in heaven. So much for paradise. Heaven is gonna be boring as fuck. I'm not spending eternity learning the fucking harp.

Don't take it to heart dude. Lately, its been bugging me how I have to go through a whole list of friends to invite friends I actually play with.
Out of the 25 I had, I played with only 6 of them. So I had to bid farewell to 19.
According to the MK Kollection: before it, there have been 9 MK fighting games:
1. Mortal Kombat
2. Mortal Kombat 2
3. Mortal Kombat 3
4. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
5. Mortal Kombat Trilogy
6. Mortal Kombat 4
7. Mortal Kombat Gold
8. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
9. Mortal Kombat: Deception
10. Mortal Kombat Armageddon
11. Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe
12. Mortal Kombat (2011)
