I love the remixed menu music. I heard it the other day and was impressed with it. Link and Mario look amazing too. I just hope this game is out by the end of the year.

I'm really pleased with the updates we have so far, and I'm glad they'll be updating the site more frequently now.

I like the effects of the new item. Also, the new concept of having day, evening; night on stages makes everything better....I can't wait to try out the battlefield.

Seems like "The Musicians" section hints on alot of new, bad ass characters. This will be a game to remember.

Twilight Princess, Battle Revolution and Brawl were really the only reasons I chose to buy a Wii over a PS3. I seriously can't wait for this game... looks so tight.

I hope Peach, Marth and Jiggly make this game. They were my faves to use.

Pichu, Dr. Mario and Ness should be completely taken out of the game. Same with Ness. Roy, Ganondorf, Falco and Young Link (I heard he will become Wind Waker Link) should have new movesets.

Sonic and Tails should also come into the game. If they could get Solid Snake, Sonic and Tails should be allowed.

This game is gonna be so tight... woot!

Why should you take Ness out? He's one of the most unique characters in the game. He kicks a lot of butt if you use him right. He can absorb all energy attacks and give himself health from them! The only cons for him is that he's lightweight. His baseball bat does at least 20 damage uncharged.

Also, I cant wait for brawl, but I think there might be some new characters.

Ness is the best character, fools. They should update his costume, though.

I heard that Ness wasn't meant to be in Melee, but they added him last minute. Plus he is the most boring character to use IMO (like the only things I use are his bat and PK fire), so yeah... I think he should go. If they can add another character instead, why not?

And the Icies are leaving? They were cool. Thats a shame.

If you thought the Ice Climbers ('Icies'? Bleh.) were cool, and Ness sucks, you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

And the only reason why he wasn't going to be in Melee was because they were going to replace him with his Mother 3 counterpart, Lucas. But Mother 3 wasn't released in North America, and it kept getting delayed in Japan, so they kept the more popular Ness. Believe it or not, Earthbound is huge in Japan.

I agree with Ninja Mime and LiuKangFighter, Ness is one of my personal favorite characters to use on Super Smash Bros Melee. I alternate between Ness, Link, and Yoshi, and I do the best with Ness and Link.

Yea, Eathbound is a big thing in Japan. Too bad they only made one game for it here. It's like 60 bucks, so I need to save up to get it.

Glad Ice Climbers got the boot. Hope Zelda and Peach make it, I liked using Zelda a lot.

For Ness, he's alright to me, I don't use him alot.

I do hope Roy (My personal fave) makes it although preferably with new movesets... the others (Dr. Mario, Pichu, etc) should be booted out.

Ridley is in it along with baby bowser and cel shaded link as far as other clone characters go i dont know.... I'd like to see gannon return most def.... capt falcon, and I'd love for them to include grey fox....... that would be enough for me, but then again since Im throwin names out there how about a castlevania character and dante from devil may cry... I mean the musical coordinators from the games are tied to compose arent they? its very possible....

Ness was an oddball character. He suffered from 'I'mfiddlyasfucktoplayasitis' and that turned many people off him. His best move was insanely hard to pull off for max damage versus anyone. Imo, he was a fun character to use, but not one of the best. I wouldn't be bothered if he were included or not but I'd miss the cries of 'PK Fire' that were ever rampant whenever one of my mates used him.
About the non-inclusion of some, I also heard that the Ice Climbers wouldn't be returning along with Mr Game & Watch. I believe the basis was they they wre unpopular with fans. Young Link not returning is news to me, but I'm glad he's not as he's not needed! Link is there and owns enough as it is!

none of you know but I do!!!! you use the tilt function and the accelerometer.... jumping is awkward at first but then you find yourself really getting into it smash moves take a little time and the lack of analog is annoying but the game is a blast
