Well, it seems I'll be put in charge for the awesome SOTW's for now. How exciting is that?!?! Anyone? *Cough* okay, errrrm. Anyways here is "Le Guidelines" for you guys to follow. Nothing really has changed except for a couple switcharoos here and there:


DA GUIDELINES

01. Pay attention to the time cycle:

Monday - New Theme Announced
Monday - Thursday: Entry Period
Friday - Saturday: Voting
Sunday - Winners Announced

02. You must be the creator of the signature that you are entering.

03. It must include your username.

04. The limit on signature size is 400x150.

05. Animated signatures are not allowed.

06. One entry per user, however you may edit your entry before the voting period.

07. No repeated entries.

08. You may not vote for yourself.

09. FIRST PRIZE RECEIVES 2 DRAGON POINTS. RUNNER UP RECEIVES 1. THERE IS NO THIRD PRIZE. (No points for entering).

This will also be ONE thread from now on. I will update titles as they go along and I encourage you guys to send me PM ideas for new SOTW themes. For this week since my pal xB$INx was ever so robbed from his 30 minute glory(Sorry bro) I let him choose the first theme for the brand new reboot.

Your signature must include a super hero. It can be from comics, or television shows. NO SUPER VILLIANS.

I have a quick suggestion for the future.

After every week is over and the new one starts, put a link to the page where each of the past SOTWs started. That way we dont have to dig through this one thread to find old SOTWs if we want to look at them.

Or link them all on this first post.

I'm not sure if that sounded confusing. If it did, I'll try and explain it better. Just something to help keep this whole "one thread" business organized, since we have been doing it in seperate threads for weeks now.

Anywho, thanks for my 30 min fame. Lol Hope eveyrone enjoys.

Ah, I'm sorry xB$INx. I had no idea that I had no say in who I passed the torch onto. And even when I said, "hey I'm looking for somebody new" nobody up there in the mod positions informed me that this was going to be a mod run game from now on. I was shocked and confused to see [Killswitch] make the new thread. Oh well, this is now out of my hands. Good luck everybody.

Kinda pointless NOT to get DP's for entering.. I mean sure it makes it a sweeter victory if you do win, but I liked the idea of the prizes being Extra bonus DP's along with the one you get for entering.

Logically voting for two would be the thing to do as there are only two winning placements

It used to be a first, second, and third place, because all those places got DP's now there's only the two placements..that's my thoughts, but whatever.

true, but before that, in the original SOTW ppl would only vote for 1. Most votes igot the 1st price, and 2nd to the person w the next most votes.
Personally i would like voting for more than 1, there is a lesser gap between first place and 2nd, and its not as terrible to decide who to vote for.

I just made a thread for an independent tournament, if enough support is put behind it, I'll host it on my own initiative. As the backing for the Ladder Kombat has been gone for quite some time And we can get tournament theme suggestions or just do standard, "pick who you want" tournaments or both.

Yeah man, it's only Tuesday. There are a lot of people that put theirs in later during the week. Thats why we get a whole week to enter.

And on the subject of the tournys, those died a long time ago. There have been attempts to reboot them, but they were not very successful. At least people still particpate in this. So chill, bro. You wanna have tournaments, then help the people trying to get them started in the Matchmaking forum like Espio. Ghost Rider is a badass.
