Glitches I do not want to see in MK:Armageddon that are in MK:Deception.

Konqrr and I have spent the last month putting these together, w/ the hopes that boon and company will see and possibly fix these bugs OR add a few more features that will nullify these problems.

2 simple things can pretty much fix these issues

1~a real wake up game. To be able to recover quickly after every knock down including plants.
2~throw escapes


Character specific Glitches
These videos focus on the unduckable throws and free hits aka OTG.

A few more misc vids will be made at a later date.
Block stun glitch
Highs attacks hitting mid.


Hopefully forum member mastermalone and who ever else attending E3 this year can give these videos to the MK team.

All of these glitches are possible OFFLINE.
Most can be done online some cant due to lag.
There are a lot more OTGs and unduckable throws online.

OTG=off the ground.
Your technically suppose to be on the ground, but if you look closely you will see your foe lying down in the air hence "off the ground".
When this happens some characters are able to continue combos while their foe has ZERO chance to block or duck them.


SS=side step: walk to either side of your foe.




*NOTE* some of the videos have typos in them tongue oops im known as MR. Typo ill be sure to fix these before E3. But they are hardly noticeable.

After sindel performs a throw, her foe can Quick recover & attack her w/ any kind of attack.

Near walls every one can attack her.
Middle of the arena, some can, some cant.

Btw, Dan, for Jade's Bojutsu, I think you meant any combo ending with U+3, not F+3. there is no F+3.

good stuff.. thanks for the shoutout in those vids guys, id like to know i helped or if i can help in any way, verbally or visually. i only have a few things to add, which may seem minor and very inconsistant, but lies in the game, and its never ending flaws

first off, konqrr, whats up with that jinko combo? those 5 flipkicks in a row? did u finally get the 111cs inf? if so, congrats, im curious as to what that combo was all about... controller wise, etc.

next up, are free throws off of roll outs, theres not many in the game, but i have recorded 4 or 5 of them about 2 or 3 months ago which are part of the vids im sending konqrr. i would appreciate if u use them somehow in ur vids as they took a very long time record, ( many hours ) which clearly show in slow motion me throwing the opponent while they are still on the floor, or i should say starting the throw then.

next thing is a new glitch i found last night.. free hits off of plants, ive recorded a couple, MANY more still exist, but i would appreciate if u use these as well, it may seem liek a minor flaw, but the ability to break someones block at any means is severly flawed

ive only recorded a few, ( which ill send out to konqrr ) one that really emphasizes the glitch so far, the other two, i cant comment on

Hotaru: B1, F2, jump cancel, hold forward, kick, throw

* jump kick is not blockable* when u watch it in slow motion, the kick hits them directly in the face and youre already jumping before their legs are half way TO the ground. i guess youll have to wait for the vid if u cant test it on ur own

Darrius: 3 df 3, jump cancel, hold forward, kick, throw

*same as hotaru* the jump kick cant be blocked, since i am fully canceling, you cannot block which leads me to this final, and scary glitch

NightWolf: 11B2, jutsu, 2

* in corner only, after they get up from 11B2 plant in Tae Kwan Do, mash db db db, to fully cancel the opponents recovery, then do 2 ( pop up in TKD ) very very early. 9.9 times out of 10 youll whiff the 2, and do it too early, thats because you are too close to them because of the wall, and the kick is suppose to hit them in the head ( only place they cant block), instead of in chest/ribs


this is OFFLINE btw, i cant even imagine how it will be ONLINE, i can surely show you the hotaru/ darrius thing online if u want. ill try and find one for each character, but i would appreciate if this gets used because YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BLOCK AT ANY TIME!!! this is a major glitch in my opinion, and i hope u recognize that.

also note: i have broken the opponents block with an uppercut, by mashing db before the uppercut

Great Job, have you emailed this to Midway. Even though they will probably just tell us "that's what breakers are for". Anyways you deserved every single dragon point you got. I can tell this took you a shitload of time.

The MK team needs to know about these problems, so they don't make the same mistakes in the future.

Even if the new game is going to have a new fighting mechanic, It's the same team making an MK game.

If they don't know now, they might not know later.

If they don't know or understand some of these problems, how can they design a way to fix them for the next game?

Check~free throws off of tech rolls happenes after alot of knock downs. thats why the tech roll is worthless!! but your right there are a bunch of times when you cant get the throw. perfect example is
ermacs throw in the wall, oddly if some one Quick recovers they will get free threw, BUT if some one tech rolls, they actually are able to avoid the ermac throw infinite. so there goes a smart time to do a tech roll tongue

nice info about the no animation jump ins. thugs has shown me a few. you to should get online and test that shit let me know, then me and konqrr can test that shit offline. i know smoke can do it after his B+1. i suck at doing jump canceles so i never added them. i just hope atleast these vids make boon add a wake game or makes him remove all of the Plants grin theres also a bunch of throw infinites like Tanyas, noobs and dairou. konqrr gonna have to do that shit. like i said i suck at doing the jump cancel shit sad

pretty much the only thing fixed in the gamecube version was BO & Dairou thats why their vids arent up yet. other things fixed are things like kiras kiss time infinite and bos puke infinite. jinko damage given was scaled down also.

yeah the OTG infinites can be broken. but then theres just 3 breakers.

the plant infinites however cant be broken out of. & a bunch of ashrahs.

thanks to all you guys that did all this. i didn't even know that there were this much problems.

i think there is another time infinite for kobra.

(btw, what is the legend, is it 1=[], 2= /\, 3=X, 4=O for ps2 right? if it isn't i will be going by this anyway)

3rd stance, b+4, walk towards, b+3, walk towards, repeat.
the b+3 is an OTG.
i am not sure if this is totally accurate though.

Well from the looks of it the gameplay is going to change more than you think. Did you see how high they jumped in the trailer? That's like MOOOOOOON gravity. You couldn't do that in deception. Obviusly there are going to be many things that are going to change.

That last message I wrote was before I finished downloading some of the videos. All I saw was free throws. This can be remain or it could be fixed, yes i was wrong. So I partially take back my statement but still, there are still going to be many changes automaticly.
