Mugen really isn't as hard as it looks. Once you go through the basic tutorial, it's pretty easy. It can be hard if you are doing some fancy stuff, but then you can go on a forum and ask for help.

Ok, it's been a LONG TIME since I posted here (a year or two). Being as one of the people who's been here since MK Fakes and sprite editing started way back at MK5.org (and even before it was named that), I will say that you now have the talent to critically critique someone else's edits with conviction. That fake to me has proven that you are up there. I posted what I felt that you could improve on (I believe on page 36, I just went through every page to make sure I did or didn't say anything). You have improved over the years, which MKRocket was trying to get you to do for so long even though you thought he was being a douchebag. Believe me, I know him, he wasn't. This is the only fake in which I say you can show people that you have skills. The rest of them, frankly, aren't shit, but this one, yes. I know not many of you know me (I'm really an old head) but that's irrelevant to me, I had my time at this site, I don't care anymore.

This is your best and only piece of greatness. I will not give you a score, I will only tell you to improve, if you feel that you still want to make them (I know it's hard to after doing them for years, even I quit many many MANY years ago). Good job.

I stopped doing flash movies and stuff (I still have the flashes, and some are still on Newgrounds) cuz I'm doing game development with XNA. Still in college (NC State, last semester) and shit.

I might do another flash movie before I release my game currently in development: Tears.

I know I haven't been around in FOREVER. I just wanted to stop by and see if I could see anything interesting. The site hasn't changed much, same format. I guess MK need another reboot, hopefully the upcoming movie will fix that. I do miss the community.

Yea... I somewhat changed as well . I changed from a constant cheat maker person into a SFIV tournament player pretty much due to MK's downfall .

It seems like I will always return to this place. :)



I remade Quan Chi, since I was looking over my old sprites, and I knew I could improve greatly upon it.

So there it is. As of now, I have eighteen private messages, all of which are requests. These should keep me busy, and be expected.

However, don't expect them anytime soon, school is really taking a toll on my schedule.

They aren't the most complex or immediately impressive edits, but I really like these more practically oriented custom sprites. The Sub-Zero ones in particular are just a really nice expression of basic functions that weren't in those games. Nice stuff!


Awesome! Definitely an improvement.
Compared to some of the earlier edits, it looks much more natural to the digitized games. It doesn't have the muddiness of some of the earlier ones.

Well there isn't really a tutorial on these as making a sprite depends upon what you want. Arctic used Photoshop (i think) while Tetra_Vega used only MS Paint. So it'll depend upon what your going for
