That seriously is an awesome fake. I give it an A- for some subtle errors, otherwise, gorgeous. I think a good thing to try would be see who can make the most realistic fatality hacks.

I figured it would disappear. I sent it to ]0MBAT, so it may pop up here. I guess it's pretty much unanimous that it's fake Anyway, I told ]0MBAT to take the first letter of the first word in each sentence of my text and put them together, heh heh.

Its so so. I don't know...it could be a lot better.

There's only a handful of things wrong with it, overall the presentation is awesome.

1. It was performed by a human and no motions happen from Sub-zero, nor blocking to prevent him from moving around. He is standing there in his stance as well, so he didn't jump and do the motions in air. This is super levels of nitpicking, but if the intent was to make it look real, that would need to be in there too.

2. Johnny Cage doesn't fall the right way. He just hits his knees and plops forward. On every fatality that is a decapitation, the person stands stunned headless, lands on the knees, wobbles then falls forward.

3. The blood bubble is too fast and doesn't land on the right spot on the ground, there's is also a blood fountain missing.

4. No blood falling from FATALITY. On every decapitation blood falls from FATALITY, there are few cases where blood does not drop from FATALITY but all I can think of is the Kombat Tomb and on the SNES version I believe any Fatality that made them explode. Anything else I missed other than the added graphics? This is seriously constructive criticism, I hope it helps so there will be more in the future as this one was highly impressive.

Well, I guess it turned out alright for being my first fake. I would've just put it in the fan art section, but since it was April Fools (Which, like I hinted at, is spelled out with the first letter of the first word from each sentence of the text at the begining) I decided to put it here. Any others I do, I'll put in fan art. There IS a higher quality version, I just played it on my PC and recorded it with my camera to give it that fake "I couldn't record it on a VCR" look. The original video had sound, I'm not sure if the one on here does too or not. Anyway, here's a list of things that could easily give this away:

1. Sub-Zero does not move according to the motions needed to perform the fatality.
2. Cage doesn't wobble when he falls to his knees, he just goes straight down.
3. The "blood ball" falls much faster than normal.
4. No blood drips from the "FATALITY" logo.

In the high quality version I have, you can also see that the crowd in the back isn't moving and Sub-Zero has a faint visible outline around his body when he first rips off Cage's head. These are all the things I was too lazy to work on Anyway, glad most of you liked it! Not bad for my first try I guess

If you wanted to be 100% accurate, then:

• You can tell it's fake because it goes a bit too fast when Johnny starts falling down
  
• There are symbols that indicate your win streak, that should appear underneath "Sub-Zero wins". The dragon symbol, the MKII, etc. You could probably really fool somebody if you included these!

Like MK2KungBroken said, this isn't to say that what you did is bad; it's actually frickin' AWESOME. But attention to the little details like this would make it 100% foolproof. Well, not "foolproof", but you know what I mean.

Oops, looks like you got to the goofs before I did! Like I said, I was just too lazy to fix it up and figured it was decent enough for a first try

Oh yeah... forgot about the little symbols... D'OH! I'm thinking of doing one that is based off of Liu Kang's dragon fatality from the Game Gear version (fire breath), except using arcade sprites.

The screen was wobbling so much, that it looked intentional.

I wasn't fooled, but still it looks very convincing.

The way you put the sound for Finish Him, so it only says "S Him" was a great touch. It makes it look a LOT more like a recording.

That video is an awesome fake, please stop to make such fakes because there are so good that many fools will fully believe it and the myth about uncovered secrets would be again alive =)

Really, with some improvements like said before it would be really hard to tell even for an expert if this is fake or not.

This is better than the moon landing fake by the way =)

Wow, thanks! I thought I mentioned this, but I'm not sure when I'll get to do the Dragon fatality fake. The main bitch about doing it is trying to get the animated sprites for the flaming skeleton and then the follow up explosion. At least since it involves the dragon, I'll only need the life bars for the very begining. Anyway, I'll try to work on it in the near future!
