I definitely thought the hellfire kick was removed from Scorpion's move list. So the new screenshot was news to me, but in this thread I now see that it's just been demoted to the end of a combo. I wonder why.

The flip kick in the pics are from scorps combo called hell blade or sword something. He attacks with his swords and ends the combo doing the kick. You can clearly see him holding the swords ;)

Also, the footage is clearly taken from the demo, same stages and characters

I didn't really think this needed it's own thread but anyone have some insight on what they mean with "soon-to-be-announced online modes?" I figured it was just the normal 1 vs. 1, tag, and king of the hill modes but that would be pretty neat to have others as well.

@Erik- I'm guessing they demoted certain moves to "normal" moves to make the combos look flashier (a'la their main competition- MvC3), and add more moves without bloating each character's list of specials.
@Torturelegend- are you not aware "Erik" is a male name? He also has his gender listed in his profile, so gender-bending is unnecessary.

Uh, you guys, all "going gold" means is the master CD was sent to the publisher which is used to press all of the discs for shipping. In a nut shell, the game is done. It has nothing to do with the number of sales.

Read the thread, man... almost nobody interprets "going gold" as a sales thing here
"Certified Gold" is the phrase they use when it sells a million units or whatever.
