My clan will not be allying with you, in this conflict. Perhaps in later wars, the Black Dragon is not in shape for battle right now.

But I did have an idea that all the GrandMaster could get together and we could create a clan database with some free website designer, like freewebs. There would could have specific pages for all the clans including their information/members/rules/links to MKO if someone wants to join. We could also have forums, so that clans may create more than one thread. And only the GMs have the passwords to get in and manage the website, this would create trust between rival factions. Like even though you and the OIA could be at war, there is still a common trust and understanding between the two in the form of this database.

That's not a bad idea, Grotesque. But hey, do you think that creating a separate web page for the clans would draw in more people to join, or would it end up turning into an unused page? 'Cuz even the clans that are active right now aren't really overflowing with people posting, if you know what I mean. The members themselves only tend to post in the clan threads when there's something new going on, apart from that, they really don't seem to spend much time just talking among themselves, etc. So it's something we should think about, IMO.

The Black Dragon already has it's own website, but it's a secret hideout that is only known to selected members. It's not for recruiting people. But if the clans did have separate sites, I don't think it would help get members at all. Because those freewebs site are basically personal webpages that don't get many outside visiters. Frankly, we have enough of a recruitment pool here at MKO IMO.

As for participation in the Clan threads here, It way too low. We Grandmasters must come up with a way to bring that up, or else the clans may die out. really the only clan that gets much interaction in SF/OIA, And that's because many people were willing to join right off the bat. perhaps we could go back to the clan database and find all the other popual clans, like SF/OIA, that many people would be willing to join and participate in. This was we could eliminate smaller, less active clans; Like my own. I love the BD, but there just isn't much ethuisiasm around here, I'm the only active member currently.

Same over at ours, me and Kidkombatant are the only members, and he is becoming less and less apart of it.

He's not gonna become a part of it until more people join, IMO.

About a month ago, I had one of those "soul stealing" links in my Signature. (You know, it counts how many people click on the link) and it was well into the hundreds....so I know people look at sigs...at least mine.

Also they have to be different for each clan. Same Generic "Hey Join Here NOW!" would get stale. =\
