I really don't understand why MKO even bothers to do these Fight Nights still. Its obvious that the majority of people here are never happy with it, so why still do it?. I know the staff here can't stand the bitching they get every time there's a Fight Night, so why don't you guys get the picture and realize that these Fight Nights you put together suck and save the hassle of having to put up with the constant bitching and just end it.

Thats just my opinion.

It should be pretty obvious that a lot of work goes into organizing these things on both ends. Do these guys like to goof off? Sure. They're a bunch of relatively youthful guys in a casual environment not long after just having come out of the "crunch" period of game development. But just because they joke around doesn't mean they weren't answering the questions. We were told stuff about the game. You don't like the answers then ask better questions next time. And questions about obvious things we already know (whether there are sub-bosses) or questions that are irrelevant to the topic at hand (the third MK movie) are just space wasters.

Meanwhile, they answered a number of questions that I found extremely valuable. Throw escapes are in, high / low throws are in, directional throws, Johnny Cage / Reptile explanations are in the comic, dc cameos, the stupid censorship question that doesn't matter at fucking all, arcade stick support / shoulders are mapped to buttons, online PAL v NTSC on 360, practice mode is good, 1p arcade mode has multiple ladders, 14 arenas, no spectator mode (boo!), dark kahn render coming, scorpion/bat leg takedown difference, quan chi unplayable (boo!), Seid / Shao function like real characters, dk not playable.
Seriously, this is the best of the fight nights by far. For once they actually talked about the GAME and not just who styles ed boons eye brows or how many mini games there are.

I agree with everything you said; with one exception -- I think the censorship question had a great answer -- that the USA player will the see the USA version, and the UK player will see the UK version.

I'd be willing to bet that we'd hear MORE complaining if we didn't do a Fight Night for a game.

I'm happy with the Fight Night, and I also think this one was one of the best.

The fight night in regards to MKA was also very very good.

In the end, isn't it our fault if it sucks because we submit the questions?

But to be fair, sometimes it's also the empty answers from the mk team that sucks. Like when they joke soooo much that they miss questions or don't answer them fully.

Also when the questions are being asked sooo fast by the staff at mko not giving the mk team the time to answer them even more deeply. Some questions could had done with more time, but the mk team was playing around, or another question was being shot quickly on top of another.

Still, I don't think we should be ungrateful. Some are being way too ungrateful imo, and not even giving constructive criticism.

That's what should be done.

Thank you MKO!
And thank you MK team!

That's more or less my fault. I try to act as a coordinator during the event to get people to answer questions but sometimes I miss things while working with Crow to get questions out.

That was actually at the team's request. They wanted more questions asked quicker so that people wouldn't complain about the lack of questions. It should have been handled better, I agree, and I apologize for that.

Any of the questions you saw asked were at the speed request of the MK team. I did repost one question they missed, but I personally didn't even read Fight Night until the transcript or if I overheard what they were saying.

They did want a large number of questions out there, moreso than we typically have, and I think we soundly accomplished that. I think most everything was given a pretty good answer by at least one MK team member, and those they were handled light-heartedly were intended to be handled that way. We were striving for a good mix of fun questions and pertinent questions.
Hahaha its funny, I guess people can't joke around about a videogame when you have bitchy videogame nerds demanding questions that they will know the answer to the day the game comes out. Typical. Oh yeah they've had the MK vs DC strategy guides at Best Buy for the past week. Doesn't show much other than a brief description of the characters and how to do their moves, combos and fatalities. No Dark Khan, or storyline, or unlockables. I'm still gonna wait and see how well its reviewed first

Thank you guys for the effort!

I seriously don't think there is any need for apologies from any of you because you brought to the fans what they wanted and what they asked. You guys always go to the trouble of doing this sort of cool stuff for the fans even when you know some will be sort of ungrateful. And yeah, it was awesome to have a good number of good questions answered, but like you said, DArque, hopefully it will be handled better next time so their answers can be better.

Still, most people are happy with this FN and I also think it's probably the best, or one of the best.

Once again: Thank you.
