They produced some of the most memorable character artwork from the Mortal Kombat (2011) reboot [read more] -- now Atomhawk Designs are showing off their contributions to Injustice: Gods Among Us!
The UK studio continues its relationship with NetherRealm Studios, sharing the load of visual splendours expected of modern gaming. Their high quality renders contribute to the initial design process, feature as promotional character images, and even work their way into the game as detailed ending sequences!
Character sequences for Joker [pictured], Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy, Ares, and DLC addition, Batgirl, are among those featured in the updated DeviantART gallery. Detailed arena concepts include areas of the massively popular Arkham Asylum, the Fortress of Solitude, Insurgency Command, and Themyscira.
Atomhawk Lead Artist Pete Thompson is currently participating as a Guest Judge in Mortal Kombat Online's Kreate-a-Kharacter VII kontest. You can join him in judging the final two entries, as we prepare to crown a winner!
