Here's one that I came up with using Raidens' comic book servants:

New Character..

~Solange~

Name Origin: pronounced [so-LANZGH]. It is of French and Latin origin, and its meaning is "solemn, dignified". A saint's name. A fanciful meaning for the name is "angel of the sun".



In the Malibu Comics her name is "Rayne", one of two female servants to Lord Raiden. The others' name was Wynd...
Anyway, for the sake of my concept, I'll rename her Solange and remane and re-gender the other (Wynd) as Teijin or Khalid Qamar(get the definition of his name upon creation of the character Undecided).


Back Story

For millenia I have graciously served our Lord Raiden along side my eternal sibbling and accompanying servant Teijin. We came to be his humble servants by the Elder Gods' will... When Lord Raiden won the battle to the death against Shao Kahn, but did not kill him and claim his thrown in the pantheon of the Edler Gods, it was foreseen a weakness by the then "Oracle Damashi".

During a ritual to re-enforce unconsiousness on The One Being and ensure the safety of the realms, deciding what to make of the "mercy" shown by Raiden was breifly discussed. The Elder Gods concluded the best soloution were to be a very close nit network for the then, novice diety. Smaller in number than thier own, but to compliment and support the victor for eternity.

It was then that a decision was made to perform a ritual called a "Sacrifice". Directly preseeding this "Sacrifice", Lord Raiden was to stand before the Elder Gods and explain his actions of "Mercy". It was from this explaination that the Elder Gods were to define "weakness from action and intention".. Furthermore, from weakness humans commonly draw stregnth, so it would seem fitting of this proceedure that Teijin and I were manifested. A similar concept is relative to that of the Biblical being "Adam", and his rib taken to create from it "Eve". Lord Raiden Sacarificed his weakness, almost completly to have us as Servants unto him. We are the first of such an incarnation.

I am as ferocious as the hand of Lord Raiden himself and the first manefested of his raw essence....

Now, with the exception of scattered smaller accounts, Shinnoks fall from the Pantheon, and then the recent War of the Gods, we as servants have enjoyed comfortable bliss in supporting the our master. Latley though, there has been yet another disturbance about him. Seemingly nothing out of the norm until a sharp yet throbing pain effects both myself and Teijin in our preservation state.....head and stomach.

Something was definatly not right with our Lord Raiden, as nothing relative of "pain" had ever occured before. We feared a dreadful conclusion told to us by our creators shortly after manifestation.....What was told, is that upon a completely willing, and absolute sacrifice of our beloved Lord of Thunder and Lightnings' essence; our essence being of-him would dissipate as well. We feared that Lord Raiden had Sacrificed himself , but the "pian" subsided. Peculiar, but no word of it was spoken except between us siblings...

Consequently, the connection myself and Teijin have with Lord Raiden is disturbed further, less the same pain...but it lingers on a gradually strengthening continu-um. We are worried that this is the Sacrifice the Elder Gods spoke of. The only bother-in-contrast to what they told us, vs what now seems to be happening, is that dissaption was to be without reccollection. It was told to be swift, beyond the speed of light itself. Our essence would re-group with the original sources'. Sacrificing us to re-animate our Lord Raiden in EarthRealm, re-constituting him without knowledge of the past. Or I - Solange, or my sibling - Teijin.

Action is now inevitible, after a very short consultation with our creators, we were allowed out of the House of Raiden....and for the first time in my exsistance I will support my Lord from outside of the "Palace of bliss". We must find him and reconcile the distubance in our bellys' and minds' before dissapation consumes us!

Biography

Now understanding the punishment dealt to the fool Shujinko, and the ressurection of the fallen champion Liu Kangs' corpse leads the stregnth-of-weakness I was created from......to follow the trail of brutally mutilated and crispen that Raiden leaves in wake of his more tyrantic mannor. Though seemingly justified in his actions, more-so judging by who has been slain thus far, this corrosive ruthlessness is not the way of my Lord Raiden.

Teijin and I, with mixed feelings have learned of the Sacrifice my lord has made for his humans, hightening now, the sense of fear and haste about our mission. All during a consumingly dreadful conversation with Fujin and Kung Lao, I am learning some treachry or taint could be playing apart in what motivates my Lord Raiden to destroy all who oppose him in securing EarthRealms' relative peace. It seems the "taint" he has endured hasn't allowed him to sacrifice..correctly...-- or "absolutely". Yet....

Futher on our quest, we ecounter the shaman known as Nightwolf. One who carries the burrden of the fallen Liu Kangs' soul, tied to his own mere worldly spiritual essence. Noble at it's worst of the shamen, and as I understand, also that of the Edenian Princess Kitana previous to him... this is an unexceptable consequence to allow, and surely it has stressed his own spirit. Nightwolf told us of his part in binging a force we are all too familiar with to the NetherRealm...Onaga. Yes, the shaman is in desperate need of rest yet he remains strong.

So with all this recognized, myself, Teijin, and Nightwolf perform one final transfer of Liu Kangs' spirit to take such a burrden from a human...even a shaman as powerful as Nightwolf.
With Teijin as a guide, and to accompany the fallen champions' soul for a time after reaching their destination, they accend to heaven. Specificlly...The Palace of Lord Raiden.

For the time being I am alone to traverse the realms in search of my Lord now, and the pain in my mind and belly plague me for periods at a time. Along with that one dualistic objective becomes more apparent than ever: Find my dear Lord Raiden before I "die".....and cure him of this "taint" or "curse".
Shortly after the burden is released from the Shaman and we all part our ways. I meditate to my creators until that dreadful pain subsides once more....

"Oh high creators, with your permission, I feel a purpose with pain in my mind and in my belly, to enter the realm of Mortal Kombat.

A very familiar voice replies: "So be it loyal servants,
Solange and Teijin ....."

Fighting styles: All. But reknowned as the creator of the "Pheonix Claw". Which she found just recently to be her favored style during the battle of the Gods. During the Pantheons envasion, even the fallen Elder God Shinnok was forced to retreat a short fight with Solange because of this styles' ferosity and vengence for him.

The Pheonix Claw in eathly interpretations is closest to that of Eagle Claw, Tiger Kung Fu, and Northern Praying Mantis combined. As predicted 1 1/2 millenia before the first human developed a true-er Pheonix Claw form of Martial Art, the differences are quite dramatic in scale and in comparison. The Pheonix Claw not only encompasses an intimate relationship with acupuncture points, but is also heavily decptive when the fighter is assumed weakened to the point of defeat.

It is a very poisonous, yet seductive and graceful martial art. It is described as being fierce, and extremely spiteful, yet wonderful and excepting. The kata of the Pheonix claw is magical with such a depth, to have even left the Elder Gods in magnificent awe. It is a higher concentrate than the fore-mentioned Eagle, Tiger, and Praying Matis styles combined x10.

Again, although the videos depict a relative to Solages style w/weapon, she is the originator of the style and absolutely influenced the weapon design and choice. Teijin excepts responsibility for the creation of the actual weapons used in conjuction with the Pheonix Claw, but it was Solange who was the definate influence in conception. Also, again, the styles shown in the videos are mere...mere representations of a vastly more concentrated style.

Solange is able to, through basic thought functions, concieve the weapon that fit the situation in combat. For instance, distant opponents may suffer the rath of the spear or steel whip, while closer opponents are unfortunate enough to suffer the "blade of the sun" or "Saber.

Story: Im Jermaine The Rott Silva, The undefeated champ of MMA Championship. My friend, the actor Johnny Cage has asked me to help him train for some tournament in what he says is a far away land. So Im at his home in LA. I was suprised that he was actually damn good. All of a sudden I see a flash of green and my chest felt like it was caved in. The bastard almost knocked me out. After a few weeks of training, John asked me if I would like to tag along. I didnt have a fight coming for a while so I said Why Not? As soon as he said that, he had a big smirk on his face and he told me to join him and watch one of his Mortal Kombat movies. The newest one in which Johnny battles a flaming beast. How the Hell does he come up with this shit?
I got my stuff packed up, when Johnny called. He told me to pack for a month. So I did, and he picked me up in his limo to take me to his private jet. We flew across the country for about 4 hours until we finally landed. When I got out there was military personel everywhere. A blind samurai(I had a big laugh, and told him its a little early for his halloween costume) and a fine older blonde chick dressed in a military uniform. Apparently she knows Johnny and she doesnt like the fact that I came along. Shes kinda bitchy. But I like em fiery like that. And damn there is a resembalance of these people and a couple characters in the movie I watched. Kinda strange. She took us through some High security doors, I turn the corner into a some sort of High tech computer room, and at the back was a giant portal. This shit is getting wierd.

Conclusion: I wanted a sort of Terrel Owens-Rampage Jackson mix. He is mouthy as hell, and is somewhat disliked by his peers. But although he is mouthy you kinda have to respect his skill. He doesnt carry a weapon but he makes up for it with his experiance with his mma background. I also wanted to have someone who would be freaked out that there is other worlds out there. And when he gets more nervous about his new situation he gets more mouthy. Which angers almost everyone except Johnny. Johnny just finds him funny. He also doesnt have any type of special move at first, he learns them by traveling a different realm, and being tought by Johnny Cage. Johnny also tells Jermaine that he might have to kill, which makes Jermaine want to go home. Johnny persuades him to stay, and tells Jermaine that they only kill when they have to.
I just wanted a diff type of character. Yall might like him, yall might not. I just didnt want every character to have a supernatural story

Story: Domo is a descendant of the elder gods. Although born half mortal, he bears the same powers as a normal elder god. He bears the elements Fire, Wind, Lightning, Water, and Earth, and can manipulate these elements to his will. However, to defeat the dark sorcerer Shiloh he will need to delve deeper into his past to awaken his true power.

Ending: Shiloh's last stroke of energy allowed him for one more Shock Blade, stabbing Domo through the heart. Somehow, Domo survived the attack, and awakened his true spirit, the one called "God". Domo traveled around the world, defeating dark sorcerers everywhere. Eventually Domo was heralded as the King of the Elder Gods, and was granted full immortality. Eventually, though, he grew into a tyrant, and the elder gods protested to his acts of violence. Eventually Domo was assassinated by Rayden, the God of Thunder. Domo's mysterious necklace, the one responsible for his corruption, is locked away into the Chambers of the Netherrealm, never to be used again.

Background: Kwah Dah was once the leader of a huge resistance. Their goal was to eliminate chaos by conquering the realm. Kwah Dah and his followers came close to conquering the realm. But unfortunately for Kwah Dah, things didn't come together as he hoped. For one of his most trusted followers betrayed him. This traitor was the last of the rebellion along with Kwah Dah, himself.

The Traitor:
As Kwah Dah made his way into an ancient pyramid along with Havik, he soon found himself surrounded. In the blink of an eye Kwah Dah was knocked unconscious. He soon awoke in a secret chamber of the pyramid. To his surprise, his most trusted warrior was before him, Havik. Havik laughed as he explained how he had given into turmoil the night before. Havik soon cast an ancient spell on Kwah Dah which removed his consciousness from his body and sent it to the Netherealm.

Background:
Kwah Dah roamed the the realm aimlessly. Looking for someone who could help him be revived. Many years passed.

MK: Deception:
After centuries of searching, he finally encountered someone who could help. It was a wraith. He called himself Noob Saibot. He told Kwah Dah of how he was looking for a way to enter the Chaosrealm undetected. Kwah Dah, knowing many ways of entering his native realm, ceased the opportunity to make a deal. And so a deal was made: If Kwah Dah shows Noob a way to enter the Chaosrealm without detection, Noob will find Kwah Dah's body and with words of sorcery Kwah Dah has told him and necromancy, reunite his body with his consciousness. With the help of Kwah Dah, Noob Saibot was able to enter the Chaosrealm through a portal from the Netherealm. Following through with his promise, Noob reunites Kwah Dah body with its conscious. With his conscious and body as one again, he wanders the realm aimlessly. He is surprised at how much chaos the realm has accumulated, but not heart-broken.

Ancestors:
After days of wandering, he soon finds himself back at the ancient pyramids. As he approaches the pyramids, he feels a sudden surge of pain run through his chest. It knocks him unconscious. He awakes in a dark room. He quickly realizes that their are three men before him. They tell him he is from an ancient sect of necromancers that was eliminated centuries ago by a powerful deity. They then tell him of a powerful ancient artifact locked away inside one of the ancient pyramids in which he should recover. Kwah Dah collapses, awakening him from the dream. As he picks himself up he hears a voice instructing him to follow. As he raises his head he sees an owl in front of him. It takes off. Kwah Dah, realizing it's guiding him, follows the bird inside one of the pyramids. Kwah Dah immediately begins the search for the ancient artifact. After hours of searching he stumbles across a hidden room. As he approaches the center of the room the ground begin to shake. From the ground a pillar arises, above it is a mask. Kwah Dah quickly grabs it, knowing that it is the artifact the elders spoke of. He soon feels surges of power rushing through him. The power of his old ancestors.

Armageddon Events:
Kwah Dah was in hiding for he acticipated armageddon.

Appearance:
Arsenia's hair is tied back with a yellow-brown ribbon at the top and back of her head and the rest of her thick wavy hair falls behind her hanging off her shoulders and reaches the bottom of her back. imagine a girl with eyebrows the same medium thickness through out above big brown eyes. Smallish lips.

In the form of Octavia, her hair has two thin straight bangs going down the sides of her face, and kind of high in the top and a long pony tail down to her waste tied in the center of the tail at about the center of her back with a yellow-brown ribbon. Her hair is straight, thick and light brown. Thin eyebrows and a stern look with dark brown eyes.

They have the same features that mother's and daughter's share, but it's clear to tell them apart.


Fighting Style:Arsenia uses the art of Mitzu Defense the use of hands and arm movement. She is sufficient in counters, parries, crushes and sabakis. she lacks in speed and power.
In the form of Octavia, Arsenia uses the art of Mitzu Aggression, which uses powerful leg strikes and multiple leg offensive movements.

Special Moves:

Shapeshift: A move that Arsenia uses in both the form of herself and Octavia to switch to the form of the other person. Recovery time is quick, but not too quick.

(Arsenia) Light teleport parry: used as a defensive move, when countering a middle punch or kick, she teleports and falls from the top of a screen with a punch or a kick of her own depending on what button the player presses.

(Octavia) Sapphire stone: She tosses up a blue gem and holds it up as a huge thick blue smoggy mist ascends from the ground where the opponent stand and freezes them in a giant blue shining stone allowing a free hit.

(Octavia) Kick of death: A slow kick that emits a blue projectile. If the opponent is close to the kick, they are launched and lit up by blue energy.


Story:A rebellious team of skilled warriors felt as if it was their duty to finally overrun Shao Kahn. The leader of the assault team was Octavia, a Mitzu champion, an aggressive and offensive rebellion general, and my mother. The attack on shao Kahn's fortress was perhaps one of the most successful, but her militia was lacking defense and logical thinking. My mother failed to assassinate Shao Kahn and was decimated by a Shokan division lead by the warrior Sheeva. My mother's plan was to be abundant in offensive movements, however, they were no match for the aggression shown by Sheeva and her division.

Alt Story: I was an infant when my mother was Killed by Sheeva and it was my mother's wishes for me to avenge her and to be the assassin who killed Shao Kahn, and it was the elder Gods who granted her wish. At a young age I began seeing my mother's visions, I learned from her mistakes, and I realized the key to success. It would be a repitition in history when a second assault on Shao Kahn's fortress would occur, only this time, we would be twice as powerful...



Conclusion : Basically when using Arsenia, you can shape-shift into her alternate personality, Octavia. Arsenia used defenisive moves and Octavia uses offensive moves. It's like a two-in-one character. Not really like Noob-Smoke, more like Zelda in Super Smash Brothers.

Appearance Description: Dezma has long curly black hair with a wet look, two large black vampire wings, a tiara, a royal, majestic, yet dark and evil costume. A very dark woman because she is made out of bats.

Special Moves:

Flight: this move puts her in a second fighting style where she remains in flight until the configuration is put in place again

Wing launcher: A powerful launch Dezma uses her wing to uppercut the opponent into the air

Battack: Dezma hold out her hands and her hands come apart and kind of spray out into a bunch of small bat which zoom across as a projectile. The bats return from the other side of the screen and reconstruct her hand.

Darkness Falls: Dezma's bats ascend upwards off screen and then fall to where the opponent stands in the form of bats all falling on them and biting them making it look like a huge black waterfall. the bats reassemble Dezma.

Story: The fall of the Vampire Realm forced me and my family into Shao Kahn's prisons and torture chambers. We were beaten, burned, and deprived of fresh blood. I am the princess of the royal Vaeternus family. However, the assassination of my mother and father left me as queen...if I could make it. Thankfully, the Rebel Nitara destroyed the Orb which bound our realm to Outworld. We were returned to our former realm of eternal night.

Alt Story: Many believed that the protector Nitara had the greatest right to the throne of Vaeternus, but I an the Princess, it is by the Vamperic law that upon the queen's death, I become Princess. My followers and Nitara's followers are at war now, the Vampire Realm in a great civil war over one woman's unrightful desire to the throne, Nitara will never be crowned queen of the Vampire realm, not as long as the blood still rushes in my veins.

Ending: the war was growing fierce, neither Nitara's followers or Dezma's followers would choose to surrender, they would fight until their blood was absorbed by the Vamperic soil. Nitara and Dezma fought high in the sky above all their nocturnal comrades. Nitara fought with great courage, but it was not enough to defeat the mighty Princess Dezma.

Nitara had taken the beating too far in the battle. Dezma finally delivered her final blow and sucked the last drop of blood out of Nitara's defeated corpse. She held her body high in the sky, and allowed Nitara's followers to view the corpse of their general, this drained the confidence and they were easily killed by Dezma's followers. Long live Queen Dezma.


Conclusion: Dezma is an interesting one in terms of looks and gameplay. Dezma is a character that looks like a human, well, vampire if you will, but is made out of bats. You can't tell when she's fighting, but some bats will fly out of her occasionally or fly away when attacked.

Her game play is also interesting because she has a flight stance where she can kick and punch in combos, something new to the MK world.

Name: Viper
Origin: Earthrealm
Alignment: Unknown
Appeareance: A black female cybernetic ninja
Fighting Style: She is a cybernetic ninja, so she is programmed in the same arts as Sektor and his Tekunin forces; her background prior to automation contains some knowledge of Tae Kwon Do. She basically mixes Lin Kuei techniques with some sharp kicks and fast punches.

Story: While the Forces of Light were distracted by Armageddon, Sektor and his Tekunin took a relative stronghold of Earthrealm. Viper is the codename assigned to a young woman Sektor takes prisoner and automates in a similar fashion to he was. Sektor, however, leaves Viper with a soul.

Unaware of the reason she is granted this mercy, Viper's fiance is held captive by Sektor. The Tekunin leader promises to restore Viper's humanity, and let them live happily ever after if Viper completes one mission: kill Sonya Blade.

My Thought Process: Basically, I think a female cybernetic ninja would be good. I have left her alignment as unknown because she doesn't know where she fits in. Her ending would reveal a bit of her past: the daughter of a military man, trained in Tae Kwon Do, but not a particularly brilliant fighter prior to her conversion to Tekunin technology. Basically she's a little confused about why Sektor has done this to her her, specifically, and whether or not he can be trusted.

She's not the best of my new characters, but I think she has legs for the arc. As for her special moves, she's basically got a lot of the old Tekunin tricks. I'd give her more stealthy techniques, though. I might give her a cloaking device which gives her invisibility, and Stryker's stun gun move from Armageddon could be adapted to her. As her codename seems to suggest a poisonous snake, I'd maybe give her a special projectile that poisons the enemy, and slowly decreases their health once the opponent has been hit (like they have been impaled). It could only work on Earthrealm characters, because some characters from other realms my be immune to certain poisons.

I'd maybe give her normal projectiles, as well. Sektor's rockets seem to make sense, but I'd have her fire them out an arm panel. Her special moves seem quite powerful, so I'd make them quite difficult to pull off.

As for her Fatalities? I think one could feature her injecting the opponent with some kind of "flesh eating bacteria." It seems like something a "Viper" would do. I'd maybe give her another where she produces some kind of cybernetic snake, which slithers over to the opponent, constricts around them, and then takes off their head.

I also like the idea of each character having a Fatality that can be done to them, which is character specific.
