It has come to my attention that as of late, a select group of community artists have grown a bit frustrated, others have become cocky, and more won't shut nor grow up. For these reasons, and for the sake of competition alone, I have concocted some preliminary plans and want to assemble a MKO Fake Picture Contest.

For those who have been here for a few years may remember Mobster4Christ's classic fake contests. These were the pinnacle of (Mortal Kombat) fake making goodness, including epic battles between some of the best fake picture makers to come through these forums, for example Minus_Zero and VenoMark.

While back in those days, fakes were a bit more mainstream and perhaps more prolific, I believe that with the current amount of active/semi-active fake makers that we could pull off a decently sized contest to establish who and who does not get bragging/ego points. For those of you that don't care so much for the whole ego thing and your only sake for entering a contest such as this is to gain those "coveted" Dragon Points, I could get in communication with moderators and shadow priests to make a Dragon Point reward a reality.

The purpose of this thread is simply this: I want to see if enough people are interested enough to make a contest a reality.

Some things that have yet to be determined are the following:
1) Who would host?
2) Would there be any restrictions on a fake's subject content?
3) If people are interested in becoming the best MK fake picture maker on MKO's forums.
