Ed Boon's official website Noob.com has updated with two more images from the upcoming Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe! These two images join the image previously posted of Liu Kang and Scorpion, and are presumably from the game's cinematics. The first image, with a filename of "adversary.jpg", shows Sonya, Jax, and Liu Kang facing Raiden, as the thunder god points off to something off-screen. The second image, called "betrayal.jpg", shows Sub-Zero climbing a stone wall to reach a battle arena. It's not known at present what the filenames mean in relation to the story; "adversary" could mean the characters are about to face an enemy as indicated by Raiden, but the use of "betrayal" for the Sub-Zero picture is a mystery.

Awesome. Johnny Cage isn't with the heroes, which may mean he isn't in the game. And for Sub Zero, maybe the heroes pushed him off the edge, and thats why it says betrayel.

I must say, wow! Raiden is sleevlees and more powerful looking IMO. Jax looks totally different. Liu Kang looks jacked. Meaning that he looks even bigger and bulkier than Jax. Then there's the beautiful Sonya. She's quite the hardbody isn't she? I know Sonya is ripped in the abs department, but turn her around and DAMN! I'm betting that she can crush forks with those lol. She now reminds me of Tamilee Webb which is a very good thing. 20,000 polygons per character. Midway scores.

I dont know what Sub-Zero is about to do in the second pic, but the level looks cool. I think I see a portal in the background.

Scorpion looks like he's about to summon some RAGE after Liu Kang supposedly surprised him with an attack.

I cant wait to play the story mode in this game.

Anyway, cool to see Raiden in-game already....in a sense. I smell a new avatar....

Jax looks bad in this screen-shot. Still better than before though.

Well, IMO, Raiden looks even worse in game, while it looks like story mode is gonna be fun if the betrayal image is gameplay

So is it standard uniform proceedures for female members of special forces for the military to dress like skanky strippers? I had no idea!! I mean come on, could Sonya's shirt get ANY higher?

Sweet images, it seems that Raiden and the three heroes are planning to go somewhere and Sub-Zero is following them? Who knows, but they look interesting and I wonder how and when they'll tie into the story.

As for the no Johnny Cage, I'm not sure if these screenshots prove whether he may or may not be in since I doubt Boon would show screenshots with un-revealed characters so I guess we just have to wait to see whether JC's in or not.

The image looks pretty cool though.

I know i may get bashed for this but I gotta say how i feel right now.

I am still excited to play this game and really can't wait until its released.But those to screen shots look ugly as hell.I mean,they say they want this to be next gen and all but really,it don't look it.Sure when you compare this to the previous game it looks better but thats not saying to much.As for the screen shots themselves,well I just wish they would release one thats really exciting and not ones where ppl are just staring off.I know they can't give to much away I am just saying is all.

But when you compare those screen shots to screen shots like,VF5,DOA4 and so on,graphics wise,these arent that great and those games came out a while ago so theres no excuse why this game shouldn't beat those in terms of graphics.

It looks like Sub is climbing up the side of the Dragon Mountain arena from Deception. Interesting...

Is it just me, or is Raiden not even looking at where he's pointing? He's just staring off into space...

more importantly no one else thinks it's important enough to look either.

I like how Raiden, Sonya and Kang look. Jax looks awful, imo. Both shots could look alot better though. As for the Raiden pointing issue, it is a still form the game. He may be in the middle of turning his head as he's pointing when the image was captured. If not, I hope they fix that up.
