No really, what the fuck is this shit? How difficult is consistency, damn it. Make the story and the game's internal facts correlate. It isn't hard if you try.

I understand that they want teleports to be a key element of the gameplay (can't see why; kills the novelty of the technique really), but there are ways of doing it without violating the logic within the game itself. It's a stretch, but an ice replica of himself could fight temporarily while Subzero withdraws from view. A stretch, but at least it makes sense. And it would have definitely been more interesting than, as Pink_Ranger pointed out, a rip-off of Rain's MKA teleport.

When I watched the low quality vid I mistook him for Scorpion at first (ala MKD), and when I finally realised who it was doing the soul steal, it struck me as something I could imagine Reiko wearing.

It's nice that he doesn't look like a chamber maid, but it doesn't say Shang Tsung to me. Sleeveless shoulders and a loin flap isn't exactly putting the best design foot forward, especially when you've got designs that have withstood the test of several decades of time right there to show you up.

I still say we just slap a ninja mask and shoulder pads on him, and be done with it!

Look neat. I'm more interested in knowing which characters are going to be in the DC side. I don't really care which MK characters are put into the game. Mokap ftw.

Having watched the vid again, and looking at the pics... I have to say that I REALLY hope that is not the final Batarang for Batman! First it's way to slow and second... it looks so girly. It should be faster and have a sleaker design to it. Like the Batarangs on the Animated series sort of.

I believe you're correct about Shang Tsung being from Earthrealm, but I don't think he was corrupted by Kahn. I remember seeing some concept art from Tobias of what Shang Tsung looked like prior to his morphing ability. He looked like a conventional demon.

Oh, and also, I looked at Subzero's teleport again, and he crosses his arms like Smoke. Rain's move, Smoke's pose. Bothers the hell out of me.

I think that's the amount of ease that he should be shown performing his ice moves, but I do disagree with him having a teleport. He's essentially Iceman, they don't need teleports for anything. They regenerate or whatever if they do get hit//hurt..lol

Sub-Zero should be able to perform all of the ice moves in MK history(including Frosts' moves), but make it look as easy as it does for him to perform that teleport.

I think he should probably be using the moisture in the air to create things out of nowhere.

His classic freeze move looks good though. They could've even done something to make that look easier too though. Like a distanced backhand that looks like an "ice-body" sliding across the screen or whatever. Kinda remenisent of Noob Saibots MK3-T clone throw move? Just a still, statue-like figure instead of the running clone of Noob.
