10 hit combo and where the hell is jade

okay, i have been unable to beat kung lao, johnny cage, and havik in edenia because i just cannot pull off a 10 hit combo or 12 hit combo. I can do 10 hits with raiden and liu kang, but shujinko never morphs into them.
Can smeone let me know how to pull off someone else's 10 hit or 12 hit
also i need to train with jade still, but i can't find her anywhere
anyone remember where she is?

jade is back where you saw her after she killed rain and umm if you dont get those characters just explore with those and make sure to use 2 popups most of the time
(p.s. dont even bother with kira its a waste of time the max i got with her was like 8)

i found jade in the tent, and did the whole rain thing
but now when i go back to jade she keeps telling me to find rain when i already did.

I did a 10 hit using scorpion. He has a pop up forward kick, but i cant remember which stance its in. Its up and 4 i think. Then do spear, and then one of the branching combos provided in the moves list of the pause menu. It is exactly 10 hits if you do it that way.
