if you go back to the very first dojo and talk to a guy that's in that area he says theres a temple near by and that you can enter the temple if you prove your self. THen SHujinko ask how do I do that he says talk to the guards and I did and what they say doesn;t change also another hint in the village There are 2 building that you can't get too but you can see them but theres like an invisible wall??? Hope this helps!!!

I don't suppose it's possible to return after completeing konquest mode? Maybe ones of the unsolved clues allows you to return to the village.
