Well Jade's staff changed a little. They added the most ridiculous things to the ends of it. It makes the staff look like a childrens toy. Its looking smaller too.

Jade should have the staff, but i feel they should add spikes to the ends make it some what of double sided spear, it'd still be true to the old school jade having the staff but it'd make it much more deadly.

I agree with him, that'd really be awesome. I wonder how effective this staff will really be in this game. How efficient will it be, what do you guys think?

I agree that Jade should have her staff, but what worries be is that if she has one, what will Raiden have?
I belive these are two characters both equally deserving of using a staff, so I really don't know how the heck they should, or are going to handle this.
Right now I'm thinking they'll just do a cheap fix, and have them both use staffs, but do sifferent moves with them, calling one style "Staff" and the other "Bo".

Calling one a staff and the other bo is a great idea. I've been wondering about Jade and Raiden too. Technically Raiden had the staff first, since he was pictured with it back in MKI and II, but Jade had it in-game first, which is important since she was one of the first to have weapons and that staff set her apart from Mileena and Kitana. But honestly, as much as her spear is cool, since Kitana's not in the game, I wouldn't mind getting a TRUE OLD SCHOOL Jade with steel fans.
