Krypt 2

Smaller more concise multi-level Krypt with no more !@#$ like empty koffins! Every koffin has a special reward but the catch is some are much more expensive to buy! Also as a special secret have certain koffins that disappear and reappear each time you enter the krypt thus making it more challenging to find and open these ones.

All the old school MK fighting games hidden in the Krypt 2 (I know that's a big must have)

As far as voices in the Krypt - why not have the voices tell you something which are clues to a possible secret (something that was extensively thought of by the MK community)

Another idea I have is to have a little counter somewhere on screen to tell you how many koffins you've opened at a glance or what % overall you have opened and also if you have opened the same koffin more than once , this saves you kurrency bigtime! Better yet how about an onscreen map that shows everything?

A new Konquest mode

Much more in depth konquest mode where you not only have lots more trials to complete , about 30/player but you learn every aspect of you fighter and their history (family tree if you like) Everything will be learnt here from single hit moves to 20+ hit combos even fatalites are taught here (how kool) but only after you've umlocked them in the Krypt.

Endings

I know 50% of you will say yes and 50% will say no , but I want FMV endings! I know it's a lot of work (and friggin time consuming , not to mention expensive) but I really enjoyed the FMV endings of MK4/gold. It's like you get a reward at the end of the game for all your hard work. I like the storyboards with the voice over too as seen in MK:DA so maybe a combination of the 2 ending styles , like in tekken 4 (hmm tekken again)

Another thing with endings you can get a good or bad rank depending on how many flawless victories / finishers and big combos you pulled off during arcade mode as well as earn good kurrency. For example if you finish the game having done no fatalities you get ranked very low , as well if you finish the game having done lots of great combos you get a fair rank.To get the best rank you must do all of the following (this is good because it makes you learn all aspects of the game)

1. You must do a finisher against every opponent

2. You must pull off bigger and better combos

3. Flawless victories - can give you huge kurrency rewards but aren't necessary to an overall good score. They are a bonus and if done only once or twice you will get lots of kurrency and it will help towards your final rank.

4. This is the big one , you must defeat the Dragon King without being cheesy. This will get you an awesome rank in itself , if you finish him by being "cheesy" you will not get good points towards your rank.

Hmmmmm.... yeah well thanks for your great ideas (looks up to heaven for strength) and input! Not!

If you have nothing constructive to say , don't bother saying anything at all....

Pathetic!

These are some pretty good ideas, but I'd like to add more if you don't mind...

How about when you beat the game, it can have the whole MKT thing where you have different prizes to choose from when you win. There can be 10 in the beginning, but higher difficulties and stuff like that can reveal more prizes when winning. As for the Krypt, I'd actually like to see hidden characters lurking in the Krypt and you should try to catch them or something like that. If you do, you have to fight them and defeat them in order to get them. I want there to be secrets within secrets and more than just unlockables in the Krypt, but maybe I'm expecting too much... I hope that the MK team will have a lot of time to work on MK6 and I hope that enough information (not everything) will be revealed to us.

i want fmv endings also. i don't understand why anyone would want to look at pictures. on some pics from mk:da they showed pictures of other characters and not who you beat the game with. the people who did tekken 4 fmv endings should do mk6 fmv endings but in a mortal kombat style and dark feel to it.

Dude you have some good ideas I like MK trilogy idea about choosing prizes when you win.I like that.

Your hidden charaters lurking in the krypt is good too , I touched on that issue in my full length MK6 list.

Kool man , keep em komming.

I have also thought that the Tekken style FMV endings have always been very kool and good to watch.

A lot of work goes into those ending cinemas ya know? But they are worth it I reckon.

id like to see a tournament mode and when you complete it you get to chose one of the dragon kings treasures. (like shao kahns treasures), also i think once you beat a player you should get to chose to use their weapon (so if you beat reptile and you use his kirehashi blade you'll have exactly the same combos as him and everything)

Do you guys think that the MK team should just go and make the next MK game for the new systems(X-Box 2, Gamecube 2, and PS3)? Maybe they should since it would be best for them to have a lot of time to make the game. They could probably still make it for the X-Box, Gamecube and PS2, because I doubt they will be extinct that quickly. The SNES lasted quite a long time until the 128 bit systems came out.(it might have been still around during the time of the Dreamcast but I don't remember)

As for the endings, I'd actually like to see different forms of them. For example, beating the game on the easier levels will let you see the pictures with text for endings. (maybe the easiest of difficulties shouldn't give you the whole info and then the higher levels will give you more info and more pics to see) The harder levels of difficulty will show you FMV endings with a catch....Let's say you beat it on the second hardest difficulty level.....you get to see the "what if" version of the character's ending. If you beat it on the most difficult level, then you can see what really happens to them and stuff like that. The info from the text w/ pics type endings will just tell you bits of pieces from the "what if" ending and the "real" ending.

Characters in the Krypt would be cool but here is an idea... fighting in the krypt, smashing and knocking over coffins and whatnot... ok maybe that isn't a super good idea... bah
