Obviously there have been some major issues with MKDA amongst us (the fans). I remember reading somewhere that Midway were thinking of releasing MKDA with improvements (in a similar way to UMK3 being an improvement over MK3, and MKG over MK4). The obvious improvements would be extra fatalities (weapon fatality?) and stage fatalities, but what would you guys want changed if Midway went ahead with this? Also would you guys even buy a new version of MKDA?

It's not happening. They're too busy with the making of Mortal Kombat 6 and a possible Mortal Kombat Kollection. And I don't think I would buy it. For an extra fatality and extra stage fatality $80 isn't worth it. I'll just wait for MK6

Uruma aren't you jumping the gun abit especial since i notice your from the uk too it hasn't even been released over here yet(though not long to go), so lets give these version a chance first. and i think it would be highly unlikely as midway have just axed 90% of its staff im guessing the chicago lot are working on over stuff rather than ultimate mk:da gold

Do you have proof of these Reviews?
I'm in the UK and MKDA has received some bad reviews. Two I know of have given it 4/10, one is called "Edge" and some other one. They say the switchin style thing doesn't work.

i hate edge magazine, they act like they r better than all other mags, and they got this "try hard" thing going on.

well here in australia i've read 2 reviews so far and they seem very solid.

HYPER magazin 81/100
Australia Cube 8.6/10

so its looking pretty good over here, although australian magazines have never really liked mk games, both reviews said deadly alliance was the best mortal kombat game to date.
That's a good thing.
There is one over here that gave it a 9/10, though I can't remember what it was called.
Though I think the other one that gave it a 4/10 was "Gamemaster". Enough said...

PSM2 in my country (Portugal) gave it a 8.5/10. Pretty good I say (altough the 9 was deserved, IMO). Also, the PAL version should have some revisions (like the glitches, bugs, and stuff like that), and maybe a 60Hz mode (not an improvement actually, but they would have to program it).

PSW gave it 8/10, and those guys are real picky pver there beat em ups (they're obsessed with Virtua Fighter 4). OPM gave it 8/10 too, which is more than they gave Tekken 4!

it was the second creative highlight of the series with MKD. A remastered version could be nice, but would be a bad idea.
