Here is my idea for Stryker if he comes back.

STATUS: Good
OCCUPATION: SWAT Team
HEIGHT: 5'9"
WEIGHT: 192 IBS
STYLES: Judo, Karate, Baton

SPECIAL MOVES:
Baton Trip, Grenade, Taser Shock, MP5-Navy

FATALITY 1:
Stryker takes out a grenade and literally crams it down the opponent's throat. We hear beeping and a few seconds later Stryker dives out of the way as the explosion occurs.

FATALITY 2:
Stryker goes behind his opponent and strangles them with his baton and forces them down on his knees. Then he takes out his taser and shocks them in the head until they start smoking out of their ears.

STORY:
After failing to reach the portal to Outworld in time to join the others in the fight against the Deadly Alliance Stryker remains on Earth helping to fight against the invading forces. When Sonya tells him that a new threat is rising in Japan as the Red Dragon sides with the Tekunin he decides to join them in the new fight.

ENDING:
Stryker followed Mavado and Sektor into Outworld after they severely wounded Sonya Blade. In a vicious battle Stryker manages to defeat Sektor but was suffering from major injuries. At this point Mavado attacked and was about to kill him when he was saved by Sub-Zero. With the destruction of the Dragon King they returned to Earth and Stryker was presented rank within the Special Forces.

Stryker had a girlfriend and she was an informant for the Special Forces about the Black Dragon because she was a member. Her mother was a black dragon member and her father was a red dragon member. Her mother grew to hate the Black Dragon for everything the Black Dragon stands for; the murder, terrorism and madness, whereas the Red Dragon still had an Aura of mystery surrounding them, an unknown source of power. The Red Dragon was the big league; the Black Dragon was just a group of thugs. So, she joined her husband.

The girlfriend had dedicated her life to the Red Dragon as well as her mother had, because she was a member of both clans. One Day an upstart named Mavado killed her mother for he knew that the mother was a former black dragon member. Although the battle was fierce, Mavado came out the victor. The girlfriend knew that if she betrayed the Red Dragon she would die. She also knew of Hsu Hao, the adopted older brother of Mavado, a Clan fanatic. Due to his artificial chest implant, Hsu Hao is loyal to the leadership of the Clan and its ideals.

When Mavado was in command of the Red Dragon, He ordered Hsu Hao and the girl to join Special Forces, and under the Leadership of Sonya and Jax, they could destroy Special Ops Base. The girl still had connections into the Black Dragon, however, and she had been telling the Special Forces where they were for some time. The girl had also paid many Black Dragon members to work for her and when she didn’t need their services any longer; she would tell the Special Forces where that member or members were. During the Invasion of Earth Realm, she met and fell in love with a defender named Stryker. After the invasion, she and Stryker started to train together at the Special Force Base. She died in the explosion with many of the Special ops members and a few of the Red Dragon spies. Mavado ordered Hsu Hao not to tell the other spies because they were endanger the mission and the new alliance with Quan Chi. While he was saddened with this order, Hsu Hao completed the mission and he faithfully returned to his master Mavado and Quan Chi. Hsu Hao had found out that Quan Chi had order Mavado to order him to detonate the bomb with the Red Dragon spies inside as a test of loyalty. Hsu Hao became very angry at this because he had fallen for the girl who has been working with, but said nothing for the fear of being murdered my Mavado and Chi.

During this time, Stryker was tending to the injured and the dying. He had found his girlfriend on the ground dying where she had pushed him into the room before the bomb went off. With a fit of rage, he wanted to join Jax so he could personally to rip out Hsu Hao's throat. He swore revenge but wasn’t given permission by his superiors, when they could see foolhardiness and recklessness shining through him, like he was as a younger riot policeman. Incidentally, Jax had to search for Hsu Hao and this Red Dragon clan alone. No longer needing to worry about hurting the trust of his girlfriend, Stryker told everything about the Red Dragon clan that she had told him before she died.

As she lay bloodied amongst the rubble, she sobbed to her boyfriend.
“It was the man Hsu Hao. It was he who bought in the bomb. I thought we were just gathering information but that bastard Mavado must’ve changed the plan. I’m sorry Curtis. I knew if I told you I would end up dead. Sorry.”
She didn’t even get to tell him she loved him before she died.

There's my ideas for a returning Stryker.

I have some good ideas on how to make Stryker good, as well.

Fighting style 1: ?
Fighting Style 2: ?
I can honestly say I know nothing of fighting styles.
Weapon: A pair of nightsticks, or a smaller set of Jax's Tonfus.

Special Moves:
Machine Gun: Same as Jax in DA
(Jax became a Stryker rip-off)
Machine Gun Sweep: Shoots the opponent in the knees, knocking them down.
Short and Long Grenades: Acts likes Cyrax's bombs.
Impact Grenade: Grenade thrown strait forward exploding when it hits the opponent, knocking them backwards.

Story:

The Dragon King's Army attacked Earthrealm, but met with great resistance. The armies of the world united to fight this common enemy. Though the Dragon King's Army was powerful and had magic, Earthrealm had greater technology and were able to fight. Not expecting this resistance, the Dragon King's Army fell back into Outworld.

The governments of the world decided, instead of waiting for the Army to attack again, to take the battle to them, into Outworld.

To do this successfully, they needed people that knew about Outworld, and the beings/creatures that dwell within it. For this they are using the Outworld Investigation Agency, and a Kombatant in the the previous invasion: Stryker. His knowledge of crowd/riot control, as well as his experience in Mortal Kombat, make him perfect.

Fatality 1: Point Blank

Styrker pulls his machine gun up, right between his opponents eyes. When he pulls the trigger, the gun fire blows a hole in his opponents face, and blows their brains and part of their skull out the back of their heads.

and/or

Fatality 2: High Explosives

Stryker is doing something to his opponent, but you can't see what it is because he is blocking your view. When he steps back you see that the enemy is strapped to a large amount of C4 with a timer on it ticking down. 3...2...1... Stryker dives to safety just the opponent blows up into a bloody spray of parts.

and/or

Brutality: Police Brutality

Stryker begins a barage of punches to the face, and punches and knees to the chest and stomach. Blood is flying everywhere and the enemy's body in becomming more and more deformed. Stryker finishes with a classic uppercut, and when the opponent lands he is little more than bloody mush that hardly resembles who it started as.

Suicide:

Stryker takes a handgrenade in each hand, pulls the pins, and blows himself up.

Ending:

Annoyed by Earthrealm comming into Outworld to take on his Army, as well as they are winning, the Dragon King orders his entire Army to attack the Armies of Earthrealm. Obviously overwelmed, the armies of Earthrealm fall back through their portals into Earthrealm, leaving their crates of supplies and ammo behind. Wihtout anyone knowing, Stryker stays behind too. As the entire Army of the Dragon King closes in on him he goes over to a particular crate and opens it to reveal a nuclear warhead which ony he knew was there. As the Army decends upon him, he arms the warhead, and detonates it. "FATALITY" can be heard in the air for miles around, but is quickly drowned out by the explosion. In a flash of white light, the entire Army of the Dragon king is destroyed, along with Stryker.

^ Not too bad, but I don't like the idea of him dying.

Neither do I really; he was my favorite to come out of MK3.

But, it seems to fit. Since he seems to be the most hated Kombatant ever, even if he ever comes back chances are it will only be one time; even if he turns out good, a lot of people will still hate him. So, I figure, if you're never coming back anyway, why not go out with a bang. Best to die a hero, than to just disappear.
You know, JC, I've been thinking about perfect people to take the place of the classics in Deception, and I think that Stryker would be an excellent replacement for Jax because of his tonfa and gunmanship. Good job on the stories also. I thoroughly enjoyed them. smile

I really don't want to bring you down or anything Bloofy, But... It sounds too much like a Women's romace novel or something, Not something that would fit into the MK universe.

Yes, Stryker would be the replacement for Jax, if there is one.

I've had a theory since I saw Jax in DA. I think they intentionally made Jax like Stryker. Perhaps they were testing the waters, to see if Stryker would be welcome back; or perhaps they intend to do what you said, they intend to replace Jax with Stryker, they just wanted to make it an easy transition, not a leap.

heh, that's ok. I actually based them off something written by DeathScepter, but I put them in my own words. :D Thanks for the reality check.
