Do you Think that Kano will become Liu Kang because in Quan Chi's ending Shang Tsung loses a Soul and that soul was Liu Kang's and then Liu Kang's Soul goes into Kano.That would be weird to see Kano in the next MK Game having Chinese Style Battlecrys.
