A simple idea for Death Traps in the coming MK (if there is death traps )

Well I was playing MKA and my brother throw me in the death trap where your charcter keeps running to avoid being crushed .

I was thinking why not giving the player the chance to survive by ordering him to push some buttons fastly so that he may escape death .

Of course not every death traps can have a way to survive but some of them .

After thinking of it I find that the game will be more excited ..

I know I am speaking of something that may not happen due to the jumb we may see between the last gen MK and the coming one ..

So what do you think of the idea ?

I really like it. I think it's a great idea and would make it more interesting. I like the idea of not giving up when you get knocked into a death trap, but having a chance to redeem yourself.

there was some concept art in i think deception that used the same idea, such as hanging on the side of a cliff, and the player on the top has to pry the fingers of the guy hanging, and the guy hanging has to stop them, i think the original idea used button mashing like test your might but i cant remember

i been thinking exactly the same idea. great idea btw. wanted to make a thread myself but thought i might be bashed at cos i'm a "noob" even though i been coming to this sight for years :D
would be really excitin competing against eachother, button bashing to live while the other button bashes for you to die!

It depends on the trap. It'd be hard to escape from say, the grinder in the Logging Shed in MKA.

It can also depend on the charcter .Like scorpion using his spear to get out of the falling cliff .
It is just an example
