my friend was talking to me saying that ed boon said that there are 8 additional characters in the game not shown on the character selection screen...hence probably why there are about 8 koffins that are unknown and no1 knows how to get them...
....i hope what he says is true

Outstanding! I knew there are more secrets!

Hrmm, I'm new myself, I do not doubt that Ed Boon and the team have hidden more characters. I can only hope that it will be as good as past mortal kombat unlockables.

I think everyone knoiws that whether they exist or not they're not unlocked through the koffins but through some other more devious means!
i posted this in another thread but i thought that it would fit in here too so here is a link to a vid where Boon says thet there are hidden or super unlockable characters...
http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/action/mortalkombatdeception/media.html
if you watch the fourth vid down titled Developer Interview he syas that there are hidden more characters.
-----This is quite an OLD clip, so make what you want of it ------

Would just make sense to me! Every other feature/secret, etc, etc! has been publicised to death! I don't know a game anymore that would keep something like that such a secret in honesty. Especially considering it's rumoured that there is another eight characters to play? I mean that's a hell of a big secret!
I'm not saying there's no hope, but really, people, do not go assuming that you've got guaranteed stuff, i don't want to log in here and two weeks time and have a whole load of threads with people sayign they were cheated!

Maybe they will be doing the same thing they did for MKDA and start a rumor that there was a secret that no one had discovered yet. They still did not disclose whether or not the secret exists or not. If it is untrue, I would like them (Ed) to confirm it does not exist.
