Yo, It looks good to me,but it also looks restrained.What I mean here is that you can actually do very few moves while you fall and fight.That's lame. Also the fighters shouldn't be able to always fight when falling and the falling shouldn't be always long 8-9 seconds,there should be different areas where you fall just 3 secs or areas where you fall 15 seconds.

It's not restrained, that's the point of it. lol in the other thread, some people were complaining or stating that they don't want it in at all, where you want it to be longer.
Personally it's a good, perfect timed mechanic within the gameplay. Boon said it was like I think 8 or 9 seconds, that's not too short, not too long IMO.
You're not going to have it 4 minutes long which would be ridiculous for any fighter.
I think it looks cool.

He doesn't want it to last longer. He wants more moves to do while falling. Which i think is reasonable.

Well, either way longer or more moves it's not necessary. There's inputs you have to hit and a counter and super moves in a 9 second period, what more do you want? lol

I would still like the characters to have their own punches and kicks. But I admit that theres only so much you can do while fighting in the air.

They do have punches and kicks, lol if the time sequence were longer I'd agree completely but like I mentioned earlier and you also said, 8-9 seconds is kind of tight ya know? lol
I also don't believe this will even happen in every stage(like Metropolis for example) should be cool.
I like that button mashing thing, that's cool for increased or decreased damage ha, ha

there is nothing wrong with the free fall combat. it looks perfect to me. this belongs in the rant thread.

He means "their own style" of punches and kicks, because they are all the same.
Thank God there's the amazing super special move in the end of the fall.
I'm loving most of them. Free Fall Kombat looks fantastic, but i do agree it would be nice if it was like Klose Kombat, in the sense that each character attacks in their own way. Freefall is generic till you do a super move.
But still, from what I've seen, its awesome.
It would be so much better with different camera angles though. Something fun like "God of War" when falling.

This is nowhere near ranting, I don't know what you're reading.
But I must say this Freefall move is cool. I love how every one has their own special at the ending. Scorpion, as of course, has the best one so far. I can't wait to play this game.

It'll probably be the same around 8-9 seconds, the whole fight can't take place in the air afterall.
Yeah, but as I mentioned earlier dude lol. 8-9 seconds how many moves can you want/have in that little time to excute? Know what I mean man?Not many, I think they did it well with the supers in there honestly. If not for the supers, I'd agree but the super meter adds that extra "BOOM"

But then that takes the fun of the game, especially seeing how we're entering the NEW generation life. It's like asking to take a break from shooting out on a battlefield in War. There's no spot to just, "take a break" you're just going to suck it up and deal with it.

Yeah,otherwise is more generic than MK:A's air kombat
i doubt that each character has unique fighting styles while falling. but atleast the super move thingy they do at the end is unique, although i could see come of them being similar.
but i do agree that it should be something that...i think playing the game it'd be weird to fall for 10 seconds everytime you move to a new level. and more than that it'd be repetitive. i agree that every time you knock someone off a cliff you shouldn't have to enter free fall kombat.

I can't see how someone can have a different fighting style in mid air in a 8 second period to do things really fast on the spot out of reflex more or less. Like I said before, the super move thing makes up for it and I think that's badass and unique because everyone has a different super finish into the pavement, Supermans and Scorp's are freaking beyond awesome!!
As for falling down every time, it won't happen because different stages will be different. Some like the city in metropolis, while others like Netherream/Hell stage where it's endless and you keep falling down farther and farther

Asenio brought up different time amounts given different stages and
I brought it up because of Oracles post elaborated on that. So a few people have brought it up in here besides myself

well, there seems to be a right punch, left punch, right kick, left kick, and special move.
the only thing i'd ask for is like.. a midair grab. Something like, you grab them and elbow them or something
