about the lighting on characters and backgrounds

I think the lighting in MKDA was too dark for my taste, I prefer the lighting like in the Tekken and Soul Calibur series. MK6 should have lighting like those games I think it would make the graphics look better.

The lighting in MK:DA was actually very well done in my opinion. It may seem dark but it's very well done. Kind of a neat thing to see what I mean is to like go into training mode and walk around the stage. When you do you should see how the light on the fighters changes based on where they are. grin

sometimes it seems that the shadows on the characters does not fit with the rest of the level- particularly for the indoors levels. There seems to be always ~45 deg from vertical projected hard shadows for the characters.

Yah, the lighting is really nice, stylisticlly - uh, yeaaahhhh....

Anywho, I loved the atmosphere in DA. it was one of the few things that kept me playing past a couple of weeks.
