Acquiring this alt costume?

Sorry if this has been asked over and over again, but I can't seem to unlock Raiden's alt costume. I've completed Konquest and I've fought him in Edenia, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Are there any other requirements to unlocking his alt costume?

Refrain from posting Spoilers and Secret characters in the Subject Line. It's disrespectful to users that still like a few surprises in their games.

I'm having the same problem. I've defeated him multiple times, but he gives me nothing (but coins of course), and no box appears either.

Dont know if this will help but..........I had the same prob til I went to the krypt and actually opened the chest to unlock Raiden. Then I went and beat him again and he gave me the alt costume. Post back if it works.

Nope, I had Raiden long before I even tried getting his alt.

Raidens alt is at F-3/Edenia
Did you beat konquest yet?
Do you have Raiden unlocked from the Krypt yet?

also a chest doesn't appear after you beat him..you get coins and then when you get back to konquest a flash screen appears with a picture just like the ones that come out of chests that says unlocked raiden's alt
