This thread is for discussing why you quit a fight or a race while playing online MK:A.

A note about myself, when I first started playing MK:A, I, like any other, quit fights once in a while. When I learned people really hated this and started spazzing about it, I quit quitting, with exception to gameshark users. It has been a long time since Meathook quit, several months at least. Now, if I'm unhappy with the fight, I put down the controller and give them the win. Some people don't like this either, but it beats quitting. I fight for fun, not for stats or bragging rights. I'll fight anyone, but if all your going to use is annoying repetitive tactics, enjoy your win, for it was free.

While it is not considered unfairplay, I use to think it was, I will not use an air cancel or free grab on anyone. It is not how I fight and that is my choice.

There are a few who will likely flame me for my post about win-giving, but whatever, if it makes you feel like a big man, go for it, I honestly don't care.

***back to topic***

Admit your quit, explain your reason behind dropping out of an online challenge. Perhaps a phone rang, someone was at the door, you got arrested, had to take a shit, got pissed off, whatever, this is a place to discuss quitting with civility and perhaps reach an understanding with eachother.

i dont quit,even on a unbeatable kak....ill just quit after 1 if i dont like playin them.whats the matter you quit to save your rank?i guess i can see some 1 quiting on a gs person but thats it.

Sorry but you are wrong, I have not quit in several months. I see the flaming has started, lol. Feel like a big man? I noticed you are only 16 so I won't flame you. You do need to grow up and learn not to start bullshitting. This isn't high school. Now go do your homework! I thought teenagers got carded for M-rated games? Or is that only EB that does it? I bet you got your mom to buy it for you, lol.

I'll tell you what, I know what you are saying is bullshit, but for some, my word may not be enough, so I challenge you, I challenge ALL of you, to post a video of me quitting. You would have a better chance of catching a leprechaun than catching me quitting.

Then you must suck if you fall for repetitive moves EVERY time. You'd think you'd catch on to your opponent's pattern but in your case I guess not.

I was referring to nonstop A/C and non stop free grabs. I was not referring to combos and special moves. How do you defend against an ongoing, non-stop a/c? If you are out of breakers, you can't. Anyways, theres the flaming again. Can we please get back on topic? It seems all these teenagers want to do is attempt to insult people. I guess my earlier posted request for civility went unnoticed, perhaps I should have asked for maturity.

Anyways, back on topic...

What are you talking about? there were no questions asked, except for the sarcastic one. I started this thread for people to discuss why they quit on someone. Why are you talking like you're a mod? Maybe you should read more than one post next time.

to be truly honest this thread is kinda pointless. there are way too many reasons why someone may have quit before.

well since im already here i guess i might as well post something about the topic....

-if i quit it will only be because i have to go do something. some people are dumb and go back to the lobby and be so quick to say "DevilJin quits" that i cant even tell them i either had to go. and the funny thing is its mostly when i'm winning! i win the 1st round then quit to go do whatever i gotta do,then once i comeback it says that i quit. so thats why now instead of actually "quitting" i'll just put the controller down and go do what i gotta do.

oh and meathook why do you stop playing when someone does a freegrab or 33/AC? even though when we last fought i picked scorp and i did the F1 combo/50/50 you stopped playing i quit then u said "i dont fight people who use cheesy moves" then u put me on ignore. pretty weird to do but ok.

Meathook I know you quit on lots of ppl who used scorpion or quan chi. People who said you quit on them Ethiopia, speedrcr etc. One thing don't get mad lol I know your like Ancliame with Anger Management problems lol.

There are tons of reasons to quit and the biggest one is lag. When some one is 100% safe after every move and you are not it just pointless to even play them. or if you can not tell if they are blocking high or low.

Lag is not a reason to quit. There is no reason why at anytime, a person should quit. Everyone needs to remember that this is a GAME. If there is something bothering you, such as lag, just finish up the game and decline a rematch. QUITTING mid-match is the lamest thing ever. There is no reason why you can't finish fighting, then say NO. I have no respect for anyone who quits.

They need to remove the "Quit Game" function from all future online games.

Villian I know ethiopia and he wouldn't constantly challenge me if I had quit. I do not know why you are lying. If I did quit, I would admit it, after all it is only a game, however I do not quit on people. As I said before Villian, this isn't high school, grow up.

As for speedrcr, I have not fought him, nor have I raced him. I don't know where you are getting your facts from, I'm assuming they are made up. I think your on some petty revenge trip, considering I do not know what your gamertag is, and you have been reluctant to say it.

Anger management? why are you acting so immature? I know you are 16 and all, but my 15 year old nephew acts more mature than you do. If you have nothing relevant to the topic to post, why are you even posting? Also, does it seem like I'm pissed off? 'Cause I'm not. I think you need more Riddlin for you A.D.D. no im not a mod but im a big advocate for keeping it clean i have 2 good threads stickyed and its ashame when ppl trash the forum.
