My idea for Mortal Kombat: Defiance as if the bad guys did end up winning the war with Earth. A lot of the new characters are concept ones from MKDA.

Playable Characters:

SHANG TSUNG
Withered and too tired to fight Shang Tsung makes one last effort to survive the war be joining the latest tournament.

JADE
With her friend Kitana dead and Sindel aging more by the day from the corruption of their realm she is Edenia's last hope for survival.

QUAN-CHI
Never growing older and feeding off the powers of his amulet Quan-Chi also wields the Living Weapon during his battles.

SEKTOR
Damaged in combat against Japan's armies his clan of Tekunin sealed his body up for years. After he senses Sub-Zero he reboots and goes to Outworld.

BARAKA
The last of his race, wiped out in the wars, this lonely mutant joins the tournament to destroy the sorcerers who ruined his life.

SAREENA
Captured by Quan-Chi and forced to do his bidding the demon Sareena enters the tournament hoping to destroy both her master and Shang Tsung for good.

MAVADO
The lone survivor of the tournament's warriors of Earth he is given a longer lifespan to fight as a servant to Shang Tsung.

SUB-ZERO
The original older brother killed by Scorpion and secret hero of Earth is resurrect by Shang Tsung, a mindless slave, but can he win back his memory?

DAIROU
Kept hidden during the wars of the DA this deadly samurai warrior has been helping Shang Tsung in a war against Quan-Chi.

EVIL SUMO
Who knows where this large warrior has come from. He could possibly be from Outworld, Edenia or the Earth but as his name states, he is cruel.

HACHIMAN
Considered to be one of the greatest ninjas he is handpicked by his masters to rid the world of the Tekunin clan.

BAHOMETH
One of the Elder Demons of the Netherrealm who is a servant of Shinnok he has been sent to retrieve Quan-Chi who has been free for too long.

SANDMAN
Supposedly a member of the legendary Black Dragon group the Sandman reappears in Outworld to battle the forces of Outworld, once again...

SIOBHAN
Very skilled in martial arts this deadly mistress fought during the DA wars. She has been seen much lately so she may be in fact of Outworld descent.

Secret:

MINAMOTO
Originally the stronger one between them and Liu Kang the enigma Minamoto left to train with Tengu Demons. He has returned to take his nemesis' rank.

SMOKE
After three centuries lying dormant and travels to Outworld for one last mission. Who knows what this enigma has planned.

LI MEI
Imprisoned in a mummified Dragon Warrior's corpse the soul of Li Mei has killed many in battle as a slave to Quan-Chi, and will do so forever.

SHAO KAHN
The mighty emperor of Outworld has returned with more rage than ever before and he won't stop his destruction until both sorcerers are dead.

BELOKK
Another one of the Elder Demons that Shinnok made in human form Belokk has been sent to insure that Bahometh completes his task.

SCORPION
Beyond life and death Scorpion returns to destroy the sorcerers and discovers he can have a shot at killing Sub-Zero once again.

TIAMAT
Three centuries ago Tiamat, a reptilian creature, served the Deadly Alliance as a spy. He knows the true dangers behind the new tournament.

ERMAC
Recreated by Shang Tsung's numerous souls Ermac's main purpose is to be a bodyguard. Rumors say the ninja may have other intentions though.
