Amazing Interview given to a German Video Game Mag! *translation inside*
I found this one at http://www.gamepro.de/magazin/special/mortalkombat/interview_2.htm
this mag is 100% believeable!
Here is what is said :
I am not that good in English but i ́ll try to convert it in English:
Gamepro: It would be cool if there are all Costumes from older MK Versions added as a Bonus to MKD.
Luis Mangubat: Yeah, if you are playin ́long and intensive enough, you gotta find a lot of them!
.....
Gamepro: Wil there be another Krypt as it was in MK:DA ?
Brian Lebaron: ...... Krypt is a good thing to show everybody what can be unlocked in the game, but this time there will be things and Charakters that will be unlocked in Konquest mode and not in Krypt!
this Mag is one of the biggest Prints in Germany!
the Interview is up to date because MKD isn ́t out yet in Germany.
greeetz!

Good fight and good job. For me this only comfirms even more that they are more characters than the 24 on the select screen. Konquest is the key I am betting on as Boon and now others from the MK team have said.
0
I agree. Boon is actually doing a good job at keeping every "super" secret hush hush. But sometimes I just wanna kill him for not telling us NOW. I'm getting impatient. I hope that there are indeed SU's and other stuff. That would just make this game complete. LOL!
0
as soon as this game is released world-wide.....then we will have our answers. boon will either release the info. or the fresh new players will have some fresh new thoughts. and can help to unlock what is left. there is simply far too many loose ends in this game to be left up to just being lazy. or to be teasers.
About Me

I don't see how that gave anyone any idea that there are hidden characters in the game...

well, first of all. your translation was bad. u kinda exadurated. i would translate, but it's late and i'm tired
0
So why bother posting anything if you aren't even going to correct his translations? And by the way, you spelled EXAGGERATED wrong. So I don't know what's sadder, you attempting to correct that guy's translations or you not spelling simple words correctly. HRMMM!!!!
SHang I guess you didn't see this at the end of the what was said:
"Brian Lebaron: ...... Krypt is a good thing to show everybody what can be unlocked in the game, but this time there will be things and Charakters that will be unlocked in Konquest mode and not in Krypt!"

I went to http://www.worldlingo.com/wl/translate and put the text in for translation and this is what it popped out.
*******************warning this is HORRID english********************
GamePro: It would be very cool, to integrate as bonus all costumes of the predecessors. Are there any plans there?
Luis Mangubat: Yes. If one is enough and plays enough intensively, one will be able to find many the old Outfits.
.....
GamePro: It will give again a Krypt, in which one can de-energise bonus articles?
Brian Lebaron: Yes, the Krypt is a mad possibility, to show the player at the beginning, as one many Goodies can de-energise. This time the Krypt is integrated however into the Konquest mode: Koins, which one collects in the Konquest, one will be able to spend again in the Krypt. Certain characters and Items are de-energised against it not in the
Krypt, separate in the course of the Konquest mode.
*********************************************************************************
So pretty much what I got out of it is that yes, you get koins which you spend in the Krypt, but not everything that can be unlocked is in the krypt. BTW this is horrid translation so if anyone knows a better translation site by all means please re-try this...

everything is unlocked from the krypt....you just get keys from konquest, but in the end, everyhting is unlocked in the krypt. What he is suggesting is that there might be stuff unlockable after everything is unlocked from the krypt

This translation tells us absolutely nothing. We already know chars can be unlcoked from konquest mode (fighting raiden or getting shujinko for completion) or just simply getting keys to open coffins in the krypt. Am I just missing something? Is someone trying to tell me something I havent already heard?
