An idea for the Katas (special character dance)

I have an idea.

In arcade or in the Krypt in Deception, there should be a way to unlock all the character Kata's performed by each character.

There should also be new katas for each character plus the old one's and the promo's.

Each kata should go for a long time.

So, do you like my idea?!

Is it like a video, cause that'd be like a weapon demonstratiopn in SC2 and i wouldn't really like it, plus what about people like Jax or Kabal

yeah it would be better than mkda where you had to wait at the select screen for about 10 minutes just to see a couple of katas.

Good Idea
It'd be hard for some of the stiffer and less agile characters like Subzero and Jax

I'd like some funny ones like Nightwolf doing a rain dance then it starts raining and one of the cyborgs doing the robot.

It's an ok idea if you have lots of disc space left, otherwise i rather have more caracters or fighting arena's.

It's a nice idea, but a bit pointless. if you catch my drift

Do you even know what a kata is? It isn't just a dance, it's a form built up of a given set of techniques from that style. Then they are all done fluently and in succession, it looks very vaguely like a dance, even though I wouldn't call it one under any circumstances. As for the idea, I would like to see them. They would have to be like Scorpion's from MK: DA though with good graphics, not like the weapon sets like someone already pointed out.

of course the okinowans used katas to discuise their techniuques from others so no one would copy them or get arrested ( karate used to be illegal).

Yeah I do but I thought those sort of things would be funny. I know they should be friendships!!!!!!!!!!!

I get where you're going with this. I guess the only reason I don't like the idea is because I was never a fan of Friendships. I like the game in a more serious environment, minus Dan Forden who I hope makes his return in this game.

That's a cool idea. It would be interesting to see each charcters katas, especially the new characters.

I like this idea too. I was kinda surprised that MKDA didn't have this in the Krypt. I think it would be especially cool if each character utilized both styles and their weapon during their kata.
