another idea about the sub boss

bout 2 or 3 weeks ago i posted something bout 4 the sub-boss u fight the dragon kings army,,,
well in tekken theres a mode i think called tekken mode (i think, not sure, havent played it in a while)n like u walk into different places n all these people start attacking u, so mabye it can be like,,,, your walkin thru different rooms while soldiers of the dragon king army attack u, n u have health pickups, n power ups, n 1 life bar,,,, i think it would be kool, or if im copying tekken too much?? wut do u think??

I think your idea sounds awesome, theres just one small detail I have a problem with. The health pickups and the powerups. They just seem too much like a "video game", I know that is what MK is but you are supposed to emerse yourself within the morbid realism and gore, and I think that rotating neon medicpacks on the ground would take away from that. Like I said I like the idea but why don't we go with more of an endurance-type battle where you fight multiple enemies at one time and in order to switch to a specific enemy you press the corresponding shoulder button. Obviously you can only engage with two enemies at a time but it sounds cool nontheless.

Yeah the whole health pickup thing isn't mortal kombat esque. An idea I had for it to work would be as you defeated one of the warriors there soul or the warriors soul would be released and either go inside of you increasing your life force, or simply cast some form of spell which increased your life. Just a suggestion.

I like that Idea. Building on what you said, it could be like, you're fighting the Dragon King's army and if you're playing as a good guy, the souls of those you destroy are freed and your character is rewarded with powerups for freeing them. And if you have an evil character, they just suck up the souls to gain health/special abilities. Then depending on how many souls you freed/collected, your character would get some kind of special weapon or attack that would help them to fight the Dragon King.

Maybe It could be an endurance,still the sub-boss but endurance.
or mabye it could b kool if thru-out the whole game u were traveling like once u faced 1 opponent and u win, u take his soul n get full life back and u walk a little and then u fight another person n then u eventually get 2 the sub-boss fight a few guys of the dragon kings army then u walk into the dragon kings palace u fight him and then thats the end
