Well, this isn't a carbon copy of the GameInformer.com interview. It talks about the amount of background weapons, more on the Krypt, ways of gaining Koins, the effects of a Death Trap (good news indeed!), how exactly you can manovure around the arenas, the indicator lights, and, finally, the Dragon King!!!

here's the link:

I posted the link to MKO before I made the thread, but they haven't bothered to put it online. Oh well, thanx for the replies.

Thanks for the link. But the Konquest character worries me. I thought you could custimize his look. But you can only pick his fighting styles? That means everybody will have the same generic warrior just with different moves. That's lame as shit. I could have sworn in the Aril PSM I read that the Konquest characters would be able to look very different from each other. WTF? I hope it gets straightend out at E3.

not being able to change the look of the konquest fighter is extremely lame beyond words. they should, at the very least, do what perfect dark did and just give you some pre-made heads, masks, etc to match pre-made bodies and then choose a color hue. yay we all get to name an old monk and choose 3 stances *twirls finger* gee...thanks, midway.

"1UP: If they fall into a death trap, that's one round they are dead for, not the whole match, right?

Boon: One round, yeah. It's not two out of three."

That's pretty weird. You can shave your opponent into little chunks in the 1st round and he will be alive and well in the 2nd.

Boon's answer is suspect here.

Either he misunderstood the question or is purposely trying to confuse us.

He said:
"One round. yeah. It's not two out of three."

I take that to mean that the FIGHTS are now only one round. Otherwise, his second sentence doesn't logically belong there.

What he more than likely means is that if you die in the first round, that's it. You don't go 2 for 3.

I hope that Boon talks about this (that it is most logical)

What's so hard to understand? Falling into a death-trap means the end of the fight. The loser may die during the first round, so there won't be another round.
The death-traps are fatalities. Back to the select screen...

that question and answer can be interpreted many ways. It probably is if you die in a death trap, you stay dead and you then proceed to face your next opponent.

I'm a little disappointed in the Kreate the Kharacter, it seems you can only be a human male. No choice in gender, skin tone, nothing!

Under the photo it states you start out as a boy, but then again Boon said 'kid.' I hope you a least get to pick gender.

I have some questions to put.

1 - Death Traps and Stage Fatalities are one thing or there will be stage fatalitites and Death Traps?

2 - If Death Traps can be turn off in the options?
This would give some new level of gameplay. With or withou Death Traps
