You can duck em too, but the thing is some can't be countered and some can. Plus, throw whores do it so often that ducking them and sidestepping won't work all the time. It doesn't take skill to throw someone. Winning w/o throwing and cheesing takes real skill.

You cannot side step them if they're set up from a 50/50 mix up.Generally speaking though,if you press f+throw, they all should track rather easily.
Throws are a part of the game, which will always be used in MK:D.They're effective and whether you think they're no skill doesn't matter.

but when u side step during a move, you go right behind them, not just to the side of them, im talking about a different side step, i guess its all fast you can react to it? i dont throw cuz i didn't throw in mkda, im having trouble letting go of that style of play, ( so death traps a bitch ) breakers i find myself using by accident cuz im holding forward when i blocking all time anyway, so when i get online, im not gonna be throwing and all that, but if it becomes something i have to deal with, then i wanna be ready, but i didn't get this part:

i just dont get what u meant, i cant side step them when they throw if they have a 50/50 mixup? but when i side step, i attack them before they can do a mix up, right?
i think i get what you mean about f+throw, thats how i'd use it.
its me man, not you, lol, just lemme know what you meant, peace and thanks

There's this thing called "Universal Tracking" in both MK:DA and MK:D.You either:
1.Press f+(insert input here)
2.or simply side step and then do your move
The latter will always work I believe while the former won't because when you press "f" your move might change. In other words,if you wanted a character's "3" to track, you'd have to press "f+3".But what if f+3 is a different move from 3?Get it?
Every character has a 50/50 mix up.It's basically a combination of a mid move and a throw. This takes advantage of MK:DA's/MK:D's poor wake-up system. In any case,if you do Smoke's u+4,for example,it will juggle. Then simply walk up to them and either grab them or throw them.Tech-rolling won't usually do anything here;you must guess right (either duck or simply block and stand). You CANNOT side step at all.It gets worse with moves that don't let you tech-roll at all, like Smoke's b+1 or Darrius' d,f+3.Again,you cannot side step at all.You can either duck or block and stand. If you think that individual will throw, duck. If you think he/she will do a mid move, stand and block. Thus, the name 50/50 mix up.

I like the variety of throws. Whenever I play online, the ONLY time I ever throw is when I lose a round (or not) and the opponent is really close, I just keep pressing the throw button until the announcer says "FIGHT"... it usually works for me. I end up throwing them. Other than that I hardly use the throw function.
i do the same thing with throws, also use em if theyre in weapon stance for more damage.
ok, but heres the thing, in mkda, you COULD side step out of it right? Just want to make sure i follow you, gonna go practice getting hit for a while, lol, thanks a lot dude, peace

The best way to avoid the throws is to simply duck and do a poking move.
A poking move is move done while ducking but it can be a punch or a kick, it is basically a tap.
Plus if you see someone do infinite cheap shit throws. Just do the same to them.

Throws are cheap, but they are an integral part of the game as well, and it does not make sense to be able to block a throw. Maybe a counter or a breaker, but not block. If u see someone cheesin u out with 50-50s and throws try to mix up the offence a bit. People who whore throws usually turtle so utilise your own 50-50s...
